About this property

Quiet Lovers' N'est, the heart of St Germain des Prés and the Latin Quarter

The studio has not been rented for some time (that’s why there is no new review).
It is completely cleaned and disinfected between each rental:
so don't worry about that!

No booking on Abritel / VRBO: only on my personal website (where it's cheaper and uncensored:)

If like us you love Paris and the Latin Quarter, if you want to live the life like a true Parisian (student, artist, bohemian…)
if you want to sleep in a quiet place (courtyard) and to wake up with the distant sound of the bells of Notre Dame and St Sulpice,
and if some stairs (4th floor with no elevator) are not a problem for you…
then, you may also fall in love of our little corner of paradise!

It is located in a 17th century building on the 4th floor (no lift, but the stairs are easy and we will help you with your luggage on arrival: ) and it overlooks a courtyard with a view of the rooftops and not overlooked.
It is very clear with sun all morning in summer.


Some furnitures are "vintage" but in good condition, and we sincerely hope that you will feel as good as we do in this studio!
Even if the place is limited, you will find some equipments:
a flat pane TV with more than 200 channels and some in english) and a stereo with a CD player (!), a K7 player (ask your parents if you don’t know what it is : ), but also a tuner and an USB source.
No A.C, but a fan in summer, and a Very High Speed ​​Internet access (fiber) ethernet and Wifi)!

Its location will allow you to do everything on foot:
you are 5 minutes from the Seine river and the Place St Germain-des-Près, 10 minutes from the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Luxembourg Gardens, the « New » Samaritaine or the Quartier des Halles…
If you want to go further, you will find ten metro & RER stations less than 15 minutes away, the closest (less than 5 minutes) being Odéon, Mabillon and St Germain des Près.

So why is it so cheap?!
Simply because it is small (less than 20m2), but its decoration and its charm will make you forget this small space and you will be able to imagine yourself for a few days like the students we were ;-)

Excellent location, very clean apartment

This apartment was in a perfect location for enjoying walking around Paris. It is just 7-10 minutes walk to the Louvre. The apartment included many amenities that were cleverly placed in the small, but comfortable space. The apartment was very clean, bright and filled with lovely plants. The bed was quite comfortable. Thierry was very responsive to email. I very much enjoyed the 11 nights I spent at this location and hope to return. I recommend this space for one, possibly two persons.

A nossa estadia no apartamento foi muito agradável. Embora o apartamento seja pequeno possui o essencial para um período de férias em Paris e é muito bem localizado com mercados, restaurantes , lojas e padarias nas proximidades. Além disso, muitas das atrações de Paris encontram-se muito próximas do apartamento permitindo o deslocamento a pé. Não posso deixar de agradecer a acolhida realizada pelo proprietário do apartamento Thierry que nos forneceu prontamente todas as informações de uso apartamento.

Charmant studio bohème dans le quartier latin

Ce studio bohème est charmant, artistement décoré, assez lumineux, agrémenté de plantes vertes qui grimpent jusqu'aux poutres du plafond. Il est situé au quatrième étage, auquel on accède par un escalier de bois. Il est très calme, la fenêtre ouvrant côté cour sur le dernier étage et les toits. Petit, mais très bien pensé, il comporte un ameublement pratique et modulable, et une bibliothèque garnie de romans variés et d'albums. La salle de bain et la petite cuisine sont fonctionnels, les équipements fonctionnent. Pas de machine à laver, mais une laverie est située à proximité. La literie est confortable et propre. L'accueil a été très charmant et disponible. Le studio est situé à proximité de très nombreuses terrasses et restaurants variés, et il est à 5 minutes à pied du jardin du Luxembourg, ce qui est très agréable lorsqu'on est sportif et qu'on souhaite faire un peu de course à pied sous les arbres au coeur de Paris. C'est une adresse que je recommanderai à mes amis !

Mignon refuge dans St-Germain

Cet appartement est un petit nid d’amour avec une jolie vue sur les toits de Paris. Idéalement situé dans un des quartiers les plus sympathiques de Paris, entouré d’excellents cafés ,restos, boutiques et à proximité de tous les services, nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Thierry ,le propriétaire, est disponible, généreux et attentionné. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment bien accueillis. Le rapport qualité/ prix est excellent. Pour toutes ces raisons, nous y retournerions sans hésiter!

A great stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the rue Mazarine studio. Although on the small side the apartment is very inviting, comfortable and quiet. Ideal for one person or an intimate couple. The location is wonderful. One of the best in Paris. Thierry was most accommodating, helpful and friendly. Merci bien et à très bientôt.

Février 2017 accueil très chaleureux par Thierry et Dominique Véritable "petit nid d'amour" au calme très bien situé dans un quartier très animé Nous adorons nous ballader à pied dans Paris et ce quartier particulièrement vivant Un aménagement pratique et esthétique dans un petit espace mais bien suffisant pour un couple amoureux! Excelent!

The studio has evrything! And the ubication is really great. There are restaurants and pubs at night and is very saif Thierry was very helpfull with us, and everithiing in the studio was clean and very usefull. If we go again to Paris, we are going to come back, no doudts!
