Gulf-Front Luxury Awaits You. This recently renovated two-bedroom, 2 1/2 bath sky home offers unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as views of the Intercoastal Waterway. An exclusive feature of this condo is its expansive 800-square-foot private terrace that overlooks the Gulf offering beautiful sunset views of the Island. There are only a handful of 2-bedroom terrace units in each Tower, so this unique feature sets this sky home apart from the rest. This sky home looks westward on the Island, providing additional privacy from other Towers on site as you do not see any neighboring resort Towers from this unit.

Once inside the condo, you will enjoy panoramic views with floor-to-ceiling windows and a fully equipped residence for your enjoyment. This unit features a fully stocked kitchen with marble countertops and stainless-steel appliances, as well as full-sized washer and dryer. On the terrace you will find an outdoor grill, dining table seating for six and ample outdoor seating to enjoy your piece of Paradise. Our sky home also features secure WiFi and a covered parking space for your convenience.

The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, flat screen TV, and a sliding glass door onto the private terrace. The master bath has dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and a whirlpool jetted tub. The second bedroom has two double beds, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, as well as two doors to access the terrace. The living room features a queen-sized sofa bed and offers breathtaking views of the Gulf.

Each condo within the Portotfino Island Resort is privately owned, and this is one of the best 2-bedroom units on property. With its newly renovated features, tastefully designed decor, and its expansive private Gulf-front terrace, this condo will exceed your expectations and provide the perfect location for your Pensacola Beach getaway.

The Gulf of Mexico is easily accessible from this residence, as well as all the onsite amenities that Portofino Island Resort offers. Each tower has its own pool and hot tub, and the Lifestyle Center has two lagoon infinity edge pools and hot tubs overlooking the Intercoastal plus an indoor Olympic-size lap pool. A total of eight pools in all, plus five rubico clay tennis courts, and a State-of-the-Art Fitness Center. Beautiful condo and resort property!

This condo is spacious, well-equipped and the patio is amazing! The patio is huge with gorgeous views of the gulf and sunsets. The condo is roomy with 2.5 baths and 2 bedrooms with comfy beds. The kitchen and furniture are modern and updated. We loved our stay here and other than a few small issues which were addressed, we had no complaints! The host is very helpful and extremely responsive.

Perfect Stay

We didn’t want to leave! The views can’t be beat. The condo was absolutely spotless and very well appointed yet comfy and relaxing. Everything you need to make a memorable visit. Portofino can’t be beat for an all-around wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate, you want to stay in this condo!

Nice, but unexpected issues that were never resolved

The unit is nice. But there were issues. The refrigerator did not make ice or dispense water. Reported to maintenance never resolved. Several bulbs needed to be replaced, resolved. Also the oven had an error message. Had to reset the breaker for it. The guest bathroom toilet was stopped up and filthy. Reported to maintenance. Maintenance advice that this issue has been reported several times and it was recommended that a plumber come out to fix. Looks like a seal was changed but issue was not resolved. Lastly all of the curtains need to be changed and replaced. They appear to be black out curtains with a plastic/rubber backing facing outside. The plastic/rubber coating is breaking down because of the sunlight and is turning to a powdery substance. If you touch it or rub up against it you are left with a powdery mess on your skin and clothes.

Beautiful views

This condo has amazing views of the ocean and a great big multi level porch/deck. The beds are comfy, kitchen and living room big and spacious. This is a great resort to stay at too. A few issues need to be addressed- pictures were of different furniture than shown in the living room, the washing machine and dryer need to be cleaned out had sand and mold in them, master bedroom fan would not turn on and ice maker was broke and didn’t work all week. Those issues aside, it’s a great unit, great views and a great place for vacation.

The condo was just as pictured. Sunsets were amazing. The only thing I would recommend is an outdoor rug on the extended patio. The one that is there is molded.

Good Place to Stay

This was a great property to rent, specifically if you have children. The ONLY downfall was the refrigerator was not cooling properly; however, maintenance brought a replacement very quickly

Very nice resort

Condo was great! Lots of space for a family of 5. Extended patio was great for enjoying a meal with a view. It had almost everything we needed. Would have liked more towels and some beach towels. Also more dishwasher soap because could only run it once. Glad I packed some paper plates too. Check in was delayed and happened an hour late. Glad we could use the pool/beach until then. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely come back.

No instructions for check in/check out process. No welcome packet. Smoke alarm dangling from wires in unit. Induction stovetop requires special use instructions which are not in unit. Grill did not work. Had to call maintenance who showed up 2 1/2 hours later. Terrace was dirty; had not been cleaned prior to my arrival and sticky substance on handrail. Sticky substance on closet floor. Mildew on shower curtain. Renters above our unit threw trash and food on the terrace every day we were there; did not feel safe sitting out there. Rented this unit specifically for the terrace. Washing machine smelled like mildew. Furniture in living room was not what was pictured on the VRBO site. VRBO pictures show Keurig in kitchen. No Keurig.

Disappointed

Room was not clean. Had to get house keeping to clean. Ceiling fan in master did not work. Room was hot! Sign on door that we could not be on the balcony at certain times due to roof work being done. Was not made aware of this before arrival. Main reason for renting this room was the balcony. Got the extreme adventure package and only 4 jet skis working. Could not use most of the things covered in the package which is expensive for 4 bands. We have been to the Protofino for the last 4 years. This is the first time we have been disappointed.

Good condo, could be great

This is a beautiful condo. The beds are fantastic, the decor is modern, and the patio views are to die for. I wanted to LOVE this condo. It was good, but has several VERY obvious and easy ways it could become GREAT. Check in was easy and painless. Parking is fine. Just know that if you have a stroller, every level from the parking garage to the interior has stairs so no getting around that, you’ll have to just ramp your stroller up/down a few stairs no biggie I love to cook, and vacation is no exception. The kitchen was fine. No oven mitt (???) baking sheet or pizza cutter. No extra items left from Past tenants? Booo. None of these items are important of course, but don’t plan on making a big batch of French fries or anything. A few plastic plates and utensils for the kids would have been nice. Again, these are so cheap and would have been so appreciated. Every beach condo we’ve ever rented, ALWAYS had a cooler for us to use. I just assumed this would be the same, but no. A small cooler would be so helpful to take drinks and snacks to the beach. Are we really expected to pack this? These additional items would also have been so nice, and we have seen at nearly every other beach rental. This was the FIRST beach home we’ve rented on VRBO that didn’t include beach towels I know, I know- the pre check in stuff said to bring beach towels, but when you’re packing for a family of 4, the last thing you want to do is take up half your luggage with beach towels. We are coming TO THE BEACH, shouldn’t we expect to find at least 1 or 2 beach towels in a beach house??? We’ve never had this problem. It’s small, but seriously annoying. Please provide some cheap beach towels for your guests. I don’t see how this is any different than providing bath towels. No beach toys/chairs/umbrellas. Go buy them. Guest bedroom door to balcony doesn’t lock. Fine for us, because our son slept in a crib still, but if you had young kids sleeping in that room, I’d been concerned. Very few TV channels worked, they always said “invalid channel”. WiFi never worked the entire week, despite 4 calls to maintenance. Not a big deal. We booked the dolphin cruise and after a 3 hour delay, it was finally cancelled. We rebooked for that evening, which still got cancelled. Still waiting for our refund. I might return if it was just me and my husband. But with kids, I’d look elsewhere.

Beautiful condo, great views!

We have rented at Portofino a few times now and it is our favorite complex in Pensacola. They just have everything you could possibly want and the grounds are very well maintained. The complex has easy access to the beach and is very private. The amenities are the best in Pensacola...in our opinion! We enjoyed the condo, it was very comfortable and the views were awesome. It has everything you need for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and the condo was well maintained. The owners were very responsive and the property office staff was great as well. The on-site restaurant was very convenient and very good. Having the Starbucks on property was pretty great too! We made a couple of trips to downtown Pensacola as well which was a great area and worth visiting. I would highly recommend Portofino as well as this condo...you will not be disappointed.

Will Definitely Return!!

My family of four (ages 5 and 7) had a wonderful visit to Portofino Island. The unit is clean, well-maintained with welcoming decor and up to date appliances. What’s unique about this particular unit: two double beds in the second bedroom (allowing room for grandmother to stay one night!), breathtaking gulf views and the extended terrace!! We did not feel as though we were being “watched” by the upper units despite my concern prior to arrival. That’s said, adding an umbrella to outside dining table and/or sitting area would be a great addition for additional privacy and blocking those summer heat waves. Helpful to note: this tower is located over a very short bridge i.e. a tad further away from the hub of the resort. It did not bother us but worth mentioning. I believe there is a resort tram, if needed. The resort itself is not lacking in activities. Highlights on our trip: 1) swimming in both our tower pool and shared resort pool, 2) fishing for minnows in the sound, completing the inflatable water obstacle course (pricey but the girls can’t stop talking about it), 3) riding trolley to dinner/shopping (our favorites Red Fish Blue Fish, Casino Beach bar and grill, Flounders, Gran Marlin), 4) Wed night putt-putt (safe to assume not always on Wed), and, of course, 5) enjoying the gorgeous gulf beaches. I hear the dolphin tour in kayak paddle board rentals are also worth the cost. In summary, though I hope the Portifino Island Resort management invests in more dining options (breakfast only provided on weekends at one restaurant), we plan to return and will hope this unit is open! Book early 😉

Coastal Elegance & Bliss!

This was our 8th year in Pensacola but our first time staying at Portofino. This unit/property did not disappoint. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud!! (We actually stripped them down before we left to see what they were so we could purchase for our own home! - Best sleep yet!). The condo is located one floor above the parking deck/space so it made loading/unloading and coming home from dinner with a tired toddler a breeze! The sun deck had a variety of furniture so we were able to lounge, stay in the shade if needed and enjoy dinner/drinks while overlooking the beach - it also got great sun in the afternoon so we could lay out and tan while the little one was sleeping. The decor and updates throughout made us feel right at home! We really enjoyed being able to walk to several different pools, walk and grab Starbucks in the Lifestyle Center each morning and we tried all of the restaurants on site. They also have beach/pool service if you’d like lunch or drink without leaving your chair! This was by far the most convenient, upscale and relaxing vacation we have had in quite some time and I attribute all of it to this unit/furnishings and all of the amenities at Portofino. We will only be booking this unit when we return!!! You can tell the owners take meticulous care of this unit.

Best quiet and scenic location on the beach!

This is my favorite quiet and scenic spot on Pensacola Beach. Far enough away from the noise, hustle and bustle but just a bike ride away from all the run when desired. The views are spectacular and the unit is well kept. Portofino offers amenities that other spots on the beach cant compete with. I look forward to staying again!

Fantastic Rental!
