La Culla di Dante Luxury Apartment in front of the Duomo (sleeps 6)

Luxury apartment, about 85 m2 located on the 6th and top floor of a historic Florentine building overlooking the Duomo, Bell Tower and Baptistery. Completely renovated, equipped with lift, air conditioning, single heating, wi-fi, all the fine furnishings, it is composed of:
1 double bedroom with view of the Duomo and bell tower with armchair, desk, cable and satellite TV;
1 bedroom overlooking the Duomo and Bell Tower with two single beds and exclusive bathroom, equipped with a sofa, desk, cable TV;
entrance;
2nd bathroom;
1 living room with double sofa bed, cable and satellite TV;
1 fully equipped kitchen;
1 technical compartment with pill and washer dryer.
Thanks to a small staircase you reach the upper floor where we find a large shared terrace with panoramic views over most of the city. From the terrace you have the impression of touching the Duomo, the Campanile and the Baptistery of Florence, located a few meters from the building. The central area allows you to enjoy all the services of the city of Florence such as: the historic center with its countless monuments, prestigious shops, restaurants, bars, department stores. The area is also served by taxi service, car rental, bike rental and more.
We can safely summarize it all with the phrase 'Florence in the palm of your hand'.

Amazing location charmong and clean. No laundry

Very charming and clean. Perfect location between the duomo and palazzo vecchio. The view from the roof is breathtaking. The lisitng says there is laundry available, however, there is not a washer or dryer. There is an iron.

The apt was clean, well stocked, inviting and updated as shown in the pictures. We were warmly greeted and given instructions for using the apt. A lovely plate of fruit and a bottle of wine was waiting for us. Very thoughtful. The location was wonderful, a block from the Duomo and the view from the roof terrace was amazing. Plenty of room for 4 adults. A 5 star experience.

Great apartment in central Florence within easy reach of most tourist spots and a host of wonderful restaurants. Roof terrace easily accessed over looking the Duomo and Gillis tower. Apartment well equipped and very comfortable

Great spot, great stay, great location

Location can't be beat! Right in the heart of everything. Coffee shops just downstairs. The unit was very nice! There's not as much of a view from within the apartment, however the rooftop which is just a flight of stairs away had a great view! Ale our check-in host was fantastic...very kind.

Beautiful apartment, fantastic location!

Look no further! This apartment is wonderful and a great location. Exceptionally clean with full kitchen and two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The rooftop is an added bonus overlooking the Duomo. We felt very safe and we were well taken care of. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in the heart of Florence!

Visiting Italy for the 1st time. This lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. Spacious, clean and the view from the shared terrace was imaginable. We walked everywhere, it's only 10-15 or less to most attractions, even from the train station. Alessandra was very sweet & accommodating. The owner always responded promptly to my questions. We cooked simple meal 3 times during our stay. If you need extra space, this place is a rare find with a lift to 6th floor. It was a treat to stay here as the 1st leg of our 2 week travels in Italy. Thank you!

Wonderful place and location

Great place but address not easy to locate . No one was there to check us in & we couldn't locate the check in spot. Called & the lady who came was very nice but had limited English. There was fresh fruit and wine waiting for us. The place was very clean. The view from the rooftop terrace was spectacular. The 4 star was because of the checkin after hours of flying

Beautiful place

A beautiful clean place within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Florence. The building had an elevator which is a luxury in these older cities. They provided coffee machine WITH multiple types of coffee in the fully equipped kitchen with everything a person might need. Master bedroom bed was very comfortable too. View from upstairs terrace is fabulous. Might want to take some kind of white noice machine if you are sensitive to bells ringing at 7 am. There is no washer dryer though the description listed ons. We were in the middle of a 15 day trip so needed to wash a few things but we improvised and used our travel clothes line to dry them. I cannot say enough good things about the great communication with the owner and property management!! Always quick response.

The apartment was perfect for our family and the location was great! Close to the stores and restaurants. The area does get pretty busy and was a little noisy at night but still would highly recommend. Had everything we needed and more! We can't wait to go back!

Lovely Little Apartment in a great Location

Bright two bedroom apartment in a great location, just a short walk to the Cathedral. The kitchen and living space was small, but just what was needed for 3 adults. Appreciated the lovely roof top terrace. The two bathrooms were a good size with stand up showers - they were kind enough to leave soaps, a good amount of towels and other little things that made the stay welcome. Be aware that there is an additional charge for each person over two staying in the apartment. We were three people in a two bedroom apartment and had to pay an extra amount for the third person.

Best Spot in Florence

The room was perfectly prepared with wine and fresh fruit. The host was pleasant, informative, and professional. The view of Florence from the shared roof access was worth twice what we paid. Don’t wait. Book it.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay - very walkable and close to everything. We were able to drop our luggage off early. Our host was wonderful and even left us a bottle of wine and basket of fruit. The rooftop is really nice, the air conditioning worked great, the building was safe and secure. Highly recommend.

Beautiful air-conditioned apartment close to the Duomo and walkable to many sites including the Academia and Uffuzi Museums. Easy trip from train station by taxi. AllēSandra met us and gave a thorough introduction and tour. Lovely rooftop terrace with gorgeous evening views of the city where we enjoyed a glass of wine. Restaurants nearby. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Amazing Location & Apartment

The hosts were so lovely providing wine, water and fruit upon our delayed arrival. The apartment is very clean, secure and just as the photos. The a/c was appreciated after a day in the heat. The bed was very comfortable. The shared terrace was a haven in the evenings with glorious views. The location is within walking distance to everything we wanted to visit (gardens, museums, tram to airport, duomo, shopping) and was very easy to navigate to and from. Many great restaurants close by. I would highly recommend and return.

Very charming apartment in a great location

This apartment is very charming and in a great location, within very short walking distance to restaurants and shops (some right across the street). We were also able to walk to the top attractions in Florence in 10 - 15 minutes. And the rooftop terrace is just as beautiful as the pictures! The communication leading up to the visit was wonderful, and the checkin process was very smooth. Francesca met us at the apartment and walked us through everything we needed. They had a bottle of wine, a bowl of fresh fruit, and a large bottle of much-needed cold water for us. Francesca was also available to us with any questions we had throughout the stay, related to the apartment itself and also some other general Florence questions we had. Our only two (minor) complaints would be (1) the listing showed the apartment having a washing machine, but it didn't, and (2) the air conditioning didn't cool as much as we would have liked on such hot days. (Please note that the property manager is trying to work with VRBO to update the listing about the washing machine, but we didn't know that at the time of booking). Overall, a lovely apartment in a lovely area of a lovely city.
