About this property

Quiet country setting close to water falls, rivers, lakes and hiking areas.

The house is located in the quiet town of Montgomery Creek close to Burney Falls, Pit River, Hat Creek, Lassen Volcanic National Park and many more beautiful areas for you to enjoy. There are 2 more homes on the property, one of those we live ourselves, so we are always available in case something is needed. There are apple orchards, a vineyard, wooded areas, meadows and many hiking trails on our 200-acre property. We bought the property in 2018 and are working on bringing back the beautiful old orchards and vineyard that were planted long ago. The Vista house has 2 queen beds and 4 twin beds, fully equipped kitchen, gas wall heater and wood burning stove. There is outdoor seating and a barbecue on the patio that overlooks a meadow with a pond, orchard and several mountain ranges. The living room has a dining table that seats 8, couch and chairs, DVD’s and games. We have a separate building with a fully equipped gym, pool table, darts and ping pong available for you. The house is also available for longer stays. We have a 220-volt, 50 amp charging station available for $15 per charge.

Great property to visit nearby waterfalls

Our goal was to see a number of the waterfalls, and this property is close to 3 nice ones. The property is big, the house comfortably sleeps 8 people and has lots of space to sit and hang around. The game room is a super nice addition, next to the pond, the pets (Dax the dog is fun!) and the on property walks, with a peek at Shasta peek. We used the barbecue a lot and just enjoyed this place. We will come again if we are in the neighborhood!!

Beautiful property

This property was breathtaking. Exactly what we were looking for. Away from the tourists. We enjoyed the hikes on the property, the game room, the deer roaming around, the views, the sweet dog Dax and the cute house we stayed in. Also close to the town of Burney and beautiful waterfalls in the area and Lassen National Park. We hope to come back soon.

Best place to stay if you’re planning to visit burney falls.

This is a beautiful place and surrounded by hills and awesome scenery. Great host, and very comfortable stay. I enjoyed my time there very much.

Simple & Quiet

Beautiful location

Lovely location in a truly peaceful setting on this farm. The owners are very kind and fun to talk with. It is about an hour from Mt Lassen, and near some amazing water falls. There is a Safeway in Burney 20min away. My only regret was not staying long enough to have a day to just hang out and enjoy the view and not drive somewhere! Thanks for the very pleasant stay.
