The beauty and tranquility of the Ozark Mountain Foothills await you at the Lil Green Acres Cottage. This rustic bi-level house is perfect for the whole family. Located on the Little Red River, the two-bedroom, two-bath cottage offers a magnificent view of the river. It has one king size bed, a full-size bed and one twin-size bed. The living room is large, (includes 2 sofas and 2 chairs) has plenty of windows, and a 32" Flat Screen HD TV with cable programming. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee-maker.

There is a screened-in porch and an outdoor deck overlooking the river. Try the excellent trout-fishing off the new private dock. Fly-fishing is only a half-mile away at Cow Shoals. You need only bring your groceries and personal belongings. Come stay with us at Lil Green Acres and enjoy all the Ozarks has to offer.

Will never stay here again. Only good thing about this place is we caught some trout from the dock.

Peace and Quite

We loved the cabin and surroundings nothing fancy just a place to fish and sleep. The fishing was bad but with no rain and water table down it was nothing on the owners fault. We talk to locals and they weren’t catching them ether. We are going back in the spring. The cabin is out in the country but only 14 minutes from town. We loved it and enjoyed our stay. Could have been cleaner is our only fault.

Nice view!

The view is great from all areas of the home. It is rustic and quite however the did kitchen slant. Bathrooms are nice, all the towels you need. Air conditioner worked great.

Family Meet Up place

Just a quick weekend getaway to visit local family. The cabin was quiet and rustic. Very relaxing...and being on the river was wonderful, so wonderful in fact, we went and bought kayaks to enjoy the river.

Great riverside home

This is a wonderfully quirky home right on the river with plenty of docks for fishing. It had all the amenities we needed and David gave us plenty of information on where to go for eating and fishing.

Nice Getaway

Cabin was in a great location on the Little Red River. Very quiet and relaxing. Cabin was a little more rustic than described but that was fine for us. The screened in porch and multiple decks were a great plus. David should emphasize these great amenities for sure. Some of the floors were a little uneven so if you have any mobility issues, care should be taken. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Place on the Little Red

Modernized rustic cabin, not the Ritz. Excellent access to the river. Remodeled bathrooms. Super comfortable beds. It is right on the river with a great dock. If you want to wade, the river is a little hard to access. You have to make it down a bank that is a little steep and overgrown, but it is more than manageable. We'll be staying here again.

Peaceful

Rustic, quiet and clean cabin overlooking a beautiful river. So peaceful and calming. Great communication from David after a thunder storm. Lost power but David stayed in contact with updates. I highly recommend and will return.

Absolutely do not stay here!

Upon entering this property, it was satisfactory but it needed cleaning. On our third day we had been out for the day leaving early in the morning and returning late that evening. Upon returning both doors that we had locked were unlocked and standing wide open. One of the beds had been disturbed as if slept in. This alarmed us since the cabin had obviously been broken into by someone. We immediately contacted the host and he responded that he had not been there and had no idea what could have happened. When trying to find a solution to our problem, he had no answers and instead we were met with rude comments and threats. We requested a refund for the final 2 nights since we felt unsafe staying in a cabin that had obviously been broken into and he adamantly refused. Instead of immediately coming out to access the situation, he accused us of trying to scam him. He became very aggressive and proceeded to use profanity calling me vulgar names. I was shocked that an owner would be so unprofessional speaking with a guest. My boyfriend's mother paid for this trip and we had no reason to ask for a refund had we not been afraid for our safety. At 10 pm we had to to travel to a town 45 minutes away and rent a hotel at our expense. The day we were supposed to be leaving his cabin he attempted to contact me by phone, again accusing me of being a scammer in a voicemail . I did not answer as a I had filed a complaint and he should have been communicating with VRBO not me directly. He also claimed to have cameras which was obviously false because he could not shed any light on why the cabin had obviously been broken into. I would never recommend staying at any of this owner's property after the terrible experience that we had with him and his property.

Father/son trip

My dad and I rented out this property to get away and do a little trout fishing. It was so much fun and such a cool spot. We got up every morning to fish and always caught fish. It’s right around the corner from “Chucks Diner” (Great burgers there). The last morning my dad caught a brown trout which was pretty awesome! Highly recommend this place!

Relaxing on the Red River
