* Formal dining room
* Fully equipped gourmet kitchen with modern stainless steel appliances, including laundry
* Large TVs and Sonos throughout the house

* A single dresser in the master closet (two other dressers are provided for your use)
* A small closet under the stairs
Any forced entry into these locked areas will result in the forfeiture of your security deposit.

We personally designed and manage this home because we love sharing it with guests who appreciate a special travel experience. We give our guests space but are available when needed. While we strive for perfection, if anything comes up during your stay, please know we are here to make it right and ensure you have a fantastic time.

* Pool Heating: The pool can be heated for your stay for a daily fee to cover propane and electricity costs. Please inquire for details.
* Long-Term Stays: For stays of 28 days or more, guests are responsible for the cost of electricity and propane used. Water and trash services are included.
* Events and Parties: No events or large gatherings of any kind are allowed on the property due to Sonoma county rules. Please don’t ask, as we cannot be flexible about this - we can lose our license if those rules are broken and we have a zero tolerance policy as a result and will result in an eviction from our home.
* Cleaning Protocol: We are committed to your health and safety. We have upgraded our cleaning practices and never book same-day turnovers to ensure the home is meticulously prepared for your arrival.

Our home was originally renovated just for us as our escape from the city. Shortly after we finished the project, work took us to NYC, and we decided to share our home with others so they could enjoy it in our stead.
We love hosting as it's truly been wonderful and a pleasure to provide others with an excellent experience while they are traveling. We've had a number of pretty awful experiences with home sharing ourselves, and we have committed to being different. We grew up in restaurant families, so hospitality is in our blood, and it's a joy to share something we created with others!

Why they chose this property
Besides being the birthplace of the California wine movement, it's now home to over 425 wineries, and even more great places to eat. We knew we wanted to buy a home somewhere in Sonoma County, and looked for almost a year until we found Bloomfield. We've always loved the natural beauty of the Sonoma Valley, and love how close it is to San Francisco, making for a very easy weekend getaway.
What makes this property unique
We were struck by the openness of the property, perched on a hill with beautiful views of pastures, rolling hills, and wineries from the rear of the home. We knew with some work, we could turn the space into something people would enjoy as much as we do. It is comfortable, yet still modern, and we tried to add many thoughtful touches and additions that make this feel like a private, peaceful country home away from home.
The backyard pool and gardens are really a showpiece in and of itself, and we spent a lot of time crafting the perfect sanctuary back there, and continue to improve it over time. Many guests have remarked that it's the favorite part of their stay!
We also keep up with maintenance and regularly refurbish items and update things throughout the property - we care about the home and reinvest a lot of our earnings into it so it remains an excellent place to stay and not something that just looks good in photos taken 5 years ago.
