This property is well-located just off McGregor Blvd, a short distance from the Edison/Ford Museum and other downtown attractions. It was not too far from ballparks or Sanibel, and had enough good restaurant options nearby. The neighborhood seems to be transitioning, with homes available for sale for under $300,000 and over $1 million. There is minimal traffic, it feels safe, and is quiet. The property is well equipped, but not with luxuries. The uncarpeted laminate floors are clean, and the home has no odor. The furnishings of the house are eclectic and thrift-shop quality, except for the bed mattresses which were comfortably firm and seemed nearly new. We reported maintenance issues such as a screeching dryer and slow bathroom sink drain. We found the WIFI to be unstable and inconsistent, which seemed to prevent the SmartTV from working reliably. If good internet access, a dependable TV, more than a 5 cup coffee pot, and top-quality maintenance is important to you, this place could frustrate you. If you can overlook those issues and are budget-conscious, then this well-located, safe, quiet lodging alternative with an above-average amount of room to spread out offers good value.
