Pictures don't do it justice, it was everything and more that we could have hoped for.The property owner was a great guy left us alone to have fun and supplied us with absolutely everthing we could think of.Thank you so much for your hospitality.
Had a great time as usual at this property. Have stayed here for the last several years and we really enjoy it. Beautiful home, sat by the fire both nights, played lots of pool and just chilled every day after each round of golf. Great communications with the owners. Very responsive. Easy check-in/out. Already looking forward to next June.
We Stayed at this house over memorial weekend and it was just a delightful experience. The scenery was breathtaking. The house was fully equipped with everything and tastefully decorated. I will definitely go back.
For the past 23 years we have been playing baseball in Cooperstown in either July or August. We started out where only two of us were staying and as the family has gotten older I now have 7 family members I play with. Our wives decided to go with us this year so we had a total of 12 people to find a place so we could be together. This house fit us perfectly. It is a bit of a drive but certainly not an inconvenience. The pond, paddle boat, cornhole game all got some use outdoors. Indoors we played pool and foosball. The play room can be closed off from the rest of the house in the event you want some peace and quiet. The house was very clean and very cozy. Jim even built a bond fire for us and made made it easy to start. The view of the mountains is beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this house again in the future. The washer and dryer worked great as did all of the appliances. There is plenty of parking for all guests and the house sits a short distance off of the highway.
Second year in a row that a group of us stayed at this magnificent house for our annual Cooperstown Golf weekend. Weather was fine. It only rained after golf on Friday and late friday night. Was able to have fires both nights and they were great. House was immaculate, grilling was great. Jim was very attentive to any questions I had. Check in/out was a breeze. Will definitely be looking to book next June for another weekend of golf.
Wonderful home for a relaxing vacation. The home was spacious, well equipped, and clean.
The pictures do not do this property justice! We went up for a family boys weekend to visit Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of fame. This house has it all and the views from the back deck are incredible. Our host Jim and Sue made sure everything was just right. I hope we have a chance to stay at this lovely home again!
Our stay at Jim and Sues’ property was absolutely perfect! Jim was available by text and phone for us and came to meet us upon arrival. He showed us his lovely home and property and also set up a wonderful fire pit for us that was ready to go! Sue left us a lovely welcome note with chocolate, marshmallows and gram crackers, which we had by the fire while the kids took turns telling scary stories. We felt so comfortable and at home all weekend and shared many laughs in the game room over drinks and playing pool. This home is an absolute gem! If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have a relaxing getaway with your loved ones, this is the place.
The place was the perfect property for a large group of friends. The homeowners were extremely welcoming and, although close to the premise, never once made us feel supervised or uncomfortable. It was comforting to know if we needed anything they were there. The homeowner also handled a minor issue extremely nicely. Property itself was Perfect with a ton of space for groups to spread out in the house. Bar/play room was perfect and would have been crucial if the weather wasn’t as nice. The pond, bonfire pit, and fruit/flowers on the property add a perfect setting to get away as well. And if you don’t want to get that far away, they have Wi-Fi too. Perfect blend of both worlds. I would love to rent from them again.
I had 9 friends up to see the Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, and we couldn't have asked for a better place for the group. The place could've fit us and several others comfortably; the game room was a bunch of fun; as much room as you could want for outdoor games; gorgeous views with your own private pond; responsive and super friendly hosts. My friends and I are already talking about the annual trip back here.
10 of us stayed here during a wedding weekend. It was a great house for a family/friend get together. Sue and Jim were terrific in every way. Thank you!
Our group of 11 had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. House was clean, pantry stocked, and plenty of beds to accommodate our large group. The grandkids had a ball playing in the large yard and the pond. The hosts were very helpful.
From start to finish the experience was super easy and refreshing with the owners being more involved and helpful than a property manager. ( in my opinion) After entering the home all the adults enjoyed looking at all the neat pieces of historical artifacts and decorations. The kids went straight into the well kept pond. It’s a tucked away quiet and peaceful place to get walkway to. Again, the owners are awesome people and enjoyable to chat with.
My family and friends had such a great time. Beautiful scenery and so relaxing. Highly recommend 👌
No problem renting. Jim and Sue are terrific people. They work so hard to make your stay a perfect one. We will definitely be back next year. Can’t wait.
Myself and 5 friends stayed here for a golf weekend in Cooperstown. Absolutely fabulous house with plenty of room for all of us. Well appointed kitchen so we cooked when we wanted, had 2 nights at the fire pit, played pool in the game room and overall had a great stay. The house was immaculate when we arrived. Jim came up on the day we arrived to welcome us and we had a great talk. Will definitely be looking to book again next year when we come back for our annual golf weekend.
This is a hidden gem! Big, beautiful and well maintained home. Everything you need for your stay! Beds comfortable, bathrooms, big and spotless! Jim and Sue made us feel so welcomed! We will be back next year!!
Simply put the best house I ever stayed in!!!!!
Owners are so helpful and welcoming (without being intrusive in the slightest)!!
Immaculately kept inside me out!!!!
We had an amazing time at Jim’s and Sue’s place. The view is unbelievable, the pond was so clean and fun, and the pics don’t do it justice. Just noting no wifi, in case that’s an essential for anyone, but we had a fantastic time without it. Thanks!
My friends and I took our annual road trip this year to the Catskills. The check in process was easy. Jim the owner met us and showed us around the place. Tons of room and tons of things to do. We caught several bass in the pond. Sat by the fire each night. Played in the game room. Tons of activities around the area if you like natural and or breweries. I'd stay here again! Thanks Jim and Sue for the hospitality.
