About this property

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo

This unit is a professionally renovated one bedroom condo on the first floor at Sapphire Beach. Walk out onto the sand through the wall to wall glass doors from the living space of the unit - the view is incredible. We are located next to the pool, facing the ocean, and adjacent to a stone jetty/peninsula which has great snorkeling. This unit and the general location is great for honeymoons, romantic getaways, fun in the sun, and pure relaxation. Two minutes away is Red Hook - there you can find ferries to St John, endless restaurants, and night dancing....

We are basically set up for couples, but can accommodate up to 4 people.

There are taxi stands and Car Rental places at the airport. Car rentals and airport pickups can be arranged at an added cost. Driving is on the left. Be prepared for some new, self taught, occasionally nerve racking driving lessons if it's your first time - but be aware - if you are planning to get around a lot, driving is less expensive than taxis.

We had a beautiful view of the beach from our room. The host was very prompt in answering any concerns.We did, however, struggle with the hot water throughout our stay. And the property could really use a thorough deep cleaning.

Family vacay
Great place for a family of four. Walked right off of our porch and onto the sand where we could either sit at the beach or go to the pool. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Chris was a great host!

20th Anniversary
My husband and I stayed here for our 20th Anniversary. The place was as described and included some snorkle gear and ice chest. Chairs service on beach was included. Great property manager answered all questions promptly. Cannot wait to return!!!

Some of the units can definitely use some upgrades. The unit we stayed in had some electrical problems that should have been fixed. We could not see the area where our clothes were kept. Maintenance guys were very nice as they tried to fix the problem. Communication with owner was excellent. I would stay here again. I would suggest the owners invest in some beach chairs for guests so you don’t have to pay to rent them if you want to go off property to other beaches.

Ocean front patio.
Everything is exactly as described and looks in the photos. Patio walks out to the pool, and ocean with a fabulous sandy beach only a few feet further away. Manager was detailed and condo was easy to find and enter. Wonderful place to stay for a beach vacation!

Great location!
We were in St. Thomas for a wedding and our views were amazing. Walked right out of our sliders to the sand and pool area. Chris was very responsive to any questions we had and check in/check out was so simple. The best part was sitting out at the point by the pool listening to the waves crash and viewing the lights from St. John.

Great location, close to restaurants and ferry. Enjoyed the first floor walk out, breakfast and sunrise daily on porch. Beach nice. Clean inside. Owner attentive to calls or text if needed. Rented a car to explore island which was nice. Only thing I would say is needs new mattress as it was extremely soft. Pool bar closed down/under construction. Plenty of beach chairs available down beach. Nice quiet property, beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend

The perfect spot to relax and enjoy island beauty
Really a gem of a place to stay for the price. Can't beat the morning view, walkout to the beach, pool and Prettyklip Point, which is stunning. Although the pool bar is under construction, just BYO and the Sapphire Beach Bar and grill is just a short stroll down the beach. Small menu, but the fish tacos are awesome. As a guest, you can get beach chairs brought to the beach for you and there are towels in the room. The apartment with full kitchen is beautiful and comfortable. It's literally fully stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning watching the gorgeous sunrise. The resort is beautifully manicured, clean, and quiet. Taxis (or safaris) are always available to hop on for a quick, cheap ride ($4/pp) to Red Hook where there are many restaurants and stores, including the grocery/liquor store, Moes, where we bought all our goodies for the room. A little on the $$$ side, but totally worth the convenience. Best part about Red Hook is you can catch the Ferry to St. John to venture over to Trunk Bay for the Snorkel Safari! An absolute must when staying here. The host Chris was very friendly, accessible and communicative offering advice and answering all our questions.. Overall, this is a great place to stay on St. Thomas and we are grateful to have had this opportunity. Thank you!

Excellent accomodations!
The four of us stayed for 10 days, from 5-15 August. We had an enjoyable time at this property! The condo was clean and very comfortable. well stocked with utensils, had everything we needed to make our own meals. Chris was quick to respond to any of our needs. Our kids loved the pool which was 10 steps from the condo. It was cleaned by staff everyday. The beach area was rocky, not great for swimming, but there are beautiful beaches not far away and on St. John. We felt very safe as there were security staff patrolling the complex. The beach bar and cafe on the property were expensive, and the restaurant had good food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend this property and condo. Thanks Chris for making our vacation memorable!

Great location!
Stayed here for 7 days for our honeymoon. It was perfect! Loved sitting on the patio in the morning w/ coffee and being visited by the resident Iguana and small lizards. Having the ocean view right outside our door and the coral reef a short walk away was great! We went snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding right there! Having the car Chris provided for a small rental fee was nice for quick trips to Redhook for meals and groceries. We walked to Redhook once -NOT SAFE!! Roads are very narrow with no side walks. We took the ferry over to St John one day for lunch and a nice hike to Honeymoon beach. Didn't take the car but you can if you want to explore more of the island. The resort is rundown and in need of some updating but we had everything we needed and enjoyed every minute. The condo had everything we could want. Loved the big shower! Bed was awesome! Highly recommend this place!

Fantastic setting. Breathtaking. Resort is "tired."
If someone were to bring this resort back up to its original glory, it would be one of the top destinations in the world. Nevertheless, the incredible beauty of the setting more than compensates. Had a lovely time!

Fantastic vacation spot on St. Thomas!
We just spent 10 fabulous days on Sapphire Beach and really enjoyed this unit. The location was better than we imagined, just steps from the pool and the beach, and although it was on the ground level we still felt that our privacy was not compromised. The unit was very clean with an updated bath. The updated kitchen was well-stocked with many extras such as spices and nice quality dishes and cookware. The owner, Peter, was very easy to work with and responded quickly to any concern or questions we may have had. Kathleen, the manager, is a pleasure to work with as well! This location is so convenient, just a short distance from the ferry, shopping, and a nice variety of restaurants. Our view of St. John and other islands in the distance presented a beautiful backdrop for relaxation, and the snorkeling was really great right from our own beach! The beach and pool never felt crowded. The marina was close by for day sailing trips and fishing and power boat charters. We definitely rate this vacation 9 out of 10 and would return to this unit and this location without hesitation!
