Lock box nightmare
Although the house was in a good location with a well stocked kitchen and pool items, the inoperable lock box put a real damper on the trip. We were unable to open the lock box and called the “local contact” who did not answer after 2 phone calls, when she finally called us back she said “I am just the housekeeper” and she gave us her code, which worked to enter the house but didn’t work on exiting the house. Both VRBO and the property manager were of no help. Finally the out of town owner gave us a fragmented voice mail. My husband finally figured out it was dead batteries. Miscommunication between all these parties is definitely effecting my review. We also found quarters and lucky charms on the floor which was not good for our dog. We visit this area often but will never stay here again.

Place was very comfortable and stocked with the essentials. Neighbourhood was quiet and easy to navigate. I would choose to stay again if returning to Goodyear, AZ.

From the moment I checked in the property was not clean. I found the high chair and pack and play and they were disgusting. So dirty. Floors weren’t clean. I looked and no broom or vacuum so I wasn’t surprised not clean. I messaged the owner and said we didn’t have paper towels, coffee or a broom. She told me to contact her caretaker. Care taker eventually brought it. I also told them about pack and play and high chair. Next day was a huge duststorn and everything got blown around. I messaged caretaker and owner to let them know a ton of stuff got blown into pool and blown around and I picked it all up but that the pool had tons of dirt in it and wasn’t usable and asked when pool guy was coming. NO ANSWER from either. We figured out on our own how to clean it and cleaned up their yard. The master shower pooled up and didn’t drain and was gross. Carpet was gross. Before our trip I asked if I could have a later checkout because my husband would be gone with the car and me and the kids had nothing to do. They said I could stay until 2. Sunday morning like 1.5 hrs before regular checkout time the caretaker texts me saying I have to be out at the regular time (mind you never responded to me about the pool and storm issues)… I told her I couldn’t because I didn’t have a car and I have 2 small kids and didn’t plan for that since they said I could stay until 2 and I couldn’t get out in time and packed up. Finally she agreed to let me stay until 1. So unprofessional. Don’t stay here

it was fair for the price. curtains were falling down over the back door, pool was dirty, linens were left wet in the washer. But it had everything we needed. it was cheaper than most so for the price I feel it was fair. Contact was very responsive to any request/question.

The house was very clean, decorated well and much better than a hotel. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool due largely to windy weather, cold water and exhaustion. The only hiccups we encountered involved supplies. We didn’t search every cubbord for papertowels, garbage bags and laundry soap- but we did located paper towels just before leaving. Overall our visit was terrific, close to groceries, eateries and Harkins theaters. Cable tv was great - gave us many options. We would recommend this unit even to our friends!

We stayed at this property during Spring training for a week in March, location perfect, near ballpark, grocery stores, restaurants, 10 and 303 interchange. House was well equiped, beds comfortable, and very clean. Too cold to use pool but did enjoy the sunny back yard. Nicely furnished with TV's in bedrooms, a must for me when I travel. We had a slight problem with microwave which was resolved quickly. 'Nough said we will plan to stay here next year.

Seven of us fit very comfortably. Enjoyed playing in the pool and grilling in the backyard. Overall great place to spend Mother’s Day weekend! Only negative was that service fee was higher than other properties I looked at.

Unclean and no money back despite not clean!
First when we arrived we noticed crumbs on the counter and under the table. Sheets on one bed had long blank hair on it so we had to treasure them. I contacted mgr we had to leave the house for them to clean being inconvenienced after they cleaned still under the couch were fries and then found fries under the twin bed…. Despite me taking time on my vacation to have to fill out forms and to no avail the owner decided I didn’t deserve any money back which is unbelievable. I’m disappointed that VRBO hasn’t done anything for me either to rectify the problem. I wouldn’t recommend the house. Lastly the pool wasn’t clean either the pool guy had to come change a part to make sure the suction was sufficient. I should have came to a clean house or been compensated.

Great Place!
The minute we walked into the house, it smelled so good and clean. It was immaculate! It was a really great place to stay. It was close to stores and restaurants and the house was beautiful! There were a few things that were not perfect for us though, that's why I'm not leaving 5 stars. The pool was not heated so we really couldn't use it because it was freezing. That was really disappointing since that's one of the main reasons we got this place. We chose it over others who wrote in their listing that their pool wasn't heated and since this didn't mention it, I assumed it was. I guess I should have asked. I asked the manager if they had pool toys (to lounge on) and she said no, so we went and bought a bunch before we arrived, then noticed they had a bin full of floaties. The pillows were not comfortable - flat and hard, but the beds were good. I would suggest bringing your own pillows. Other than that we really enjoyed staying here.

What an awesome weekend we had. We came from Los Angeles to visit my sister. We truly enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, the open living area, the fully stocked kitchen and BBQ Grill- we spent most of our time enjoying the pool and the gas fire pit at night.. definitely worth a weekend; cant wait to come back.

We hope to visit again!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The home was beautiful! The pool was amazing! And the location was great! The only issue we had was some questions regarding cleanliness of the home. While on the surface everything looked clean, there were several places where some extra attention was needed. Two examples of this were the floors and kitchen cabinets. The floors felt clean, but when we walked barefoot across them our feet would turn black. The kitchen cabinets where in a similar state since they appeared clean but when close you could easily see spills and splashes from past guest along the bar and edges of the cabinets. As mentioned the home appeared to have been cleaned, but these things made us feel a little apprehensive in trusting that the home was cleaned and sanitized properly before our stay.
