Very nice roomy one bedroom with additional office area and porch. Quiet neighborhood in the historic side of Farmington. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 6 weeks. It felt like home.
The hosts were truly helpful. I always knew I could call them. The apt was just as expected, clean, safe and good location. Thank you

The house was designed perfect. The problem was the house was in level. The bed was very uncomfortable and the living room furniture was uncomfortable. Like I said the house was setup nice but there was no where we felt comfortable to relax. Dog hair was on the sofa and when we moved in the bed it work the other person because of the noise of the mattress set. I don’t expect perfection but this place seemed to have cracks in ceiling from house settling over time. A dog woke us at 6am every morning but must have been kept inside at night. The deck to front door had boards that didn’t feel safe. I won’t be staying here again. The owner was as nice as pie and I really like her. Update furnishings and level up the living room side of the house then this place would feel more comfortable. Sorry but I cannot give this place a good rating.
We enjoyed our stay and would like to hear more about the history of this 120 year old building, (it has been upgraded and remodeled). Liked the internal design, furnishings and unique architectural details; the back porch sunroom and small office room were bonuses that we did not expect. Kitchen is small but well-equipped. The front deck was a pleasure to hang out on when it was not too hot. I would hope that the ceiling fan and light in the living room get repaired by the warm season. Quiet neighborhood and nicely located in Farmington. We would come again!
I will stay there next time.
1. firearm went off no reason midnight. please replace
2. Higher watt bulb in living room, replace bulb in light by couch.
We enjoyed our visit to Farmington. This warm and cozy apartment was convenient to many local attractions as well as the Four Corners National Monument areas.
We enjoyed almost a month at this property. Had everything we needed in a smaller package. Room for quilting projects for me while my husband attended meetings on-line. The fenced kennel was very much appreciated by our small dog. When we had TV/ Comcast problems both Victoria and Brad addressed them pronto. We were able to cook simple meals and also enjoyed local dining. We really enjoyed this older property for it's history and charm.
This was a simple but very comfortable place to stay - the hostess has provided many thoughtful details that were much appreciated, and was very easy to contact when we had questions. We highly recommend this cute duplex.
I travel a lot. I have 3 top criteria for where I stay, the property must be: 1) Clean, 2) Safe, and 3) Quiet. This property met all three criteria with perfection. The host had everything organized and ready to go when we arrived. We will be starying here again!
This place is like a home away from home! Victoria is so easy to work with and kind, and the apartment fit our needs perfectly. Getting to stay in a historic building with full modern amenities definitely added to the experience of our trip. I was working the whole time, and didn't have any trouble with Zoom meetings or connection issues. Definitely recommend staying here!
This cozy yet spacious apartment was a perfect place for our visit to Farmington. It was tastefully decorated and very clean, All of the furniture was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Parking on the street in front of the apartment was always easy. Farmington is a great base for exploring all the historic and scenic sites of the Four Corners and Victoria provided a notebook full of good information on all the things to see and do. Thanks for making this such a nice place to start while we were in Farmington.
We were in Farmington to visit our daughter who had moved there to work at the Navajo Medical Center. The abode casita really made us feel like we were in New Mexico, and it was conveniently located to both our daughter's apartment and nearby restaurants.
The interior was homey and comfortable. I especially liked the sun porch in the back where I would go in the mornings to warm up after those chilly New Mexican nights.
We did contact Victoria with a couple of questions and she was very helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Exceeded our expectations. Perfect location as a base to explore the Northern New Mexico outdoors. We loved the walk downtown to cafes, coffee, galleries and craft beer.
Found this gem online after 6 nights of hotels while traveling from FL. Victoria was quick to respond to us, and was okay with our cat! The casita was warm and welcoming with 2 patios to choose from. Its location puts you close to everything, and the neighborhood is pretty and quiet. Will recommend this property to anyone. Victoria ROCKS!
We came to Farmington to use it as a base site for the Christmas holiday weekend so we could explore the Bisti Wilderness, Chaco Culture National Historic Park. It was PERFECT. There were 3 of us, myself and my 2 adult daughters. Lavender Lizard Casitas was quite cozy, fairly well appointed (needs working can opener and a shredder) centrally located for our destinations, good wifi and easy to use. We caught awe-inspiring sunsets from the condo's west-facing deck. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the desert surroundings.
This is an attractive, roomy casita in a quiet neighborhood. I appreciated the homey amenities, cozy ambiance and many windows for lots of light and fresh air. Farmington is a great base for exploring the Four Corners area.
We had wanted to play golf at Pinon Hills for years, so over a long weekend we visited Farmington for the first time (the course is fantastic!). Victoria's property is comfortable and has plenty of room for two. The residential neighborhood is quiet but is within walking distance of downtown. We recommend it!
