Cozy cabin with nice size kitchen and living area. Property managers went above expectations to make our stay enjoyable. Hot tub was fabulous after a long day skiing.
Cabin was lovely and very clean. We loved it! It was much roomier than expected. It had everything we needed for our four night stay. We would definitely return in the future.
My family loved our stay at the Honeymoon cabin. Everything was clean, and it was so great to be able to walk across the bridge to the Bistro. Thanks for a great stay!
Loved it! After a day of skiing we would go to the cabin and never wanted to leave, The warmth and coziness of the cabin was a warm blanket. It had everything we needed. We would love to visit and stay here again! The Bistro was also amazing. My only regret is not spending more time eating there!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tiny Timbers! We stayed in the honeymoon cabin which is clean and tastefully decorated, and we had the pleasure of mountain trails right out our back door!! Host is very nice with quick and friendly communication. Thank you so much!!
Super nice, clean little cabin. Space for everyone. Kitchen well stocked with supplies. Decorated nice. Not great internet but that was ok. Loved it overall!
This was the perfect location for getting to Wolf Creek Ski Resort. It is on the highway but that didn’t bother us. You can’t hear the highway inside the cabin. It was too cold and snowy to sit outside. However, our kids did have fun in the snow and we were able to watch them from the window. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It had a heater that heats the bricks which kept the cabin and even warm temp!
My family of 5 (including a teen & 2 elementary aged kids) had a wonderful stay over Christmas for skiing at Wolf Creek. We had everything we needed at the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with every pot, pan, utensil, storage container we needed. However, there was no dishwasher soap, so I had to hand wash everything. There was extra bedding provided & plenty of towels for everyone. We loved the quick drive to slopes. I was worried after reading some reviews about the close proximity to the highway, however, the cabin is set back off the road a ways & we did not hear any traffic inside the cabin. It’s not a very busy highway in my opinion. 10/10 would definitely book again! Also recommend Doc’s for rentals & Three Barrel Brewery in Del Norte for dinner!!
I booked a week long stay at the honeymoon cabin for my family. Unfortunately one of us was urgently sent to the ICU with Illness. I booked the non refundable trip through VRBO. The property manager told me that she would be able to give me a small refund if she booked the cabin during my booking dates. She did, and I will say that she was VERY generous. I will be saving up some money to make another booking soon!
This is a beautiful place to stay and was super clean. It is very nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The coffee shop next door had delicious food and coffee. We would love to stay again.
South Fork is a great place to go for the climate, the golf, the fishing, hiking, anything you wanna do thats mountain outdoor activity related. I lived in this area for about 12 years, had two different homes on the river and reluctantly had to move back to Okla three years ago. The wife and I come up at least three times a year still and just rent to get away from the heat in Oklahoma. I came up by myself to play golf for a week with my old members at the golf club there. Tiny Timbers is really a cool place to stay, I got the big cabin even though I was by myself and it did not disappoint. It’s like brand new, everything works, I have no complaints whatsoever. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great!
Having the coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch literally 100 yards from your cabin is really a big plus. Can’t say enough about the place, will definitely be back and stay there again in the future and play some more golf with my old buddies!

We rented this cabin for a 39 day ski vacation. It was clean and well equipped. We brought lots of prepared food with us and it all fit into the very nice full-sized refrigerator. It has a full-sized stove and oven, a powerful microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, plates, bowls, utensils, pots, and pans. There is also a compact washer and dryer, a vacuum cleaner, portable heater, broom and some supplies. The heat for the cabin was suppled by an electric unit that provided the most consistent heat of any of the several cabins I have used in the area over the years. It also provided a warm spot for my wife to back up to..
There are only two things to mention on the downside. The cabin is equipped with a wood burning stove but wood is NOT provided. If you want a fire, you must supply the wood. It is available at the Rainbow grocery just up the street. The shower is barely adequate. The shower stall is very nice and there is plenty of hot water, but the water pressure and flow are very low.
However, a business issue came up where I needed some computer support to print, sign, and then scan a couple documents. I called Cheryl, and was directed to Drew at the gift shop. Everything I needed was supplied without charge. That was great customer service.
Even though I was a bit disappointed in the wood stove and the shower, we had a great overall experience as shown above by my 5-star rating. I recommend this cabin for extended stays.
This cabin had everything we needed. It was cozy and clean upon arrival. Exactly as described and pictured. We especially enjoyed the Christmas trees both inside and outside of the cabin to give it a festive feel!
The was much bigger with the high ceilings than the photos.
Really quite, restaurant in walking distance.
We needed a getaway.
We had 2 deaths in our family last year & this year. One to covid, one to cancer.
Thank you very much
The property was clean, nicely arranged, check-in was easy - and the food/coffee at the bistro next door was delicious. Awesome experience and a great time.
Nice stay for 3 in this sweet cabin that is fully equipped. Thanks.

Why they chose this property
We purchased this beautiful property in 2016 and our first project was the honeymoon cabin. The locals tell us that this cabin, once part of the BAR Cattle Ranch, was used as a honeymoon cabin for the cowboys working the ranch! We took the cabin down to the foundation and completely rebuilt it saving the rustic and original logs. We used salvage tin from the old barn to face the ceiling and installed antique reclaimed wood for the floor and barn doors. We love the combination of rustic and modern and you'll see that in the kitchen. Leathered granite, stainless steel appliances and knotty wood cabinets complete the look. You will love the warm and cozy feel of this cabin, while enjoying its beauty and modern finishes!
