The Point is a waterfront rental with covered boat dock at Rocky Point Indiana

The Point is located on Deer Creek near Rocky Point Marina in Cannelton, Indiana. The property is several miles away from our other cabins located in Derby, Indiana. The rental is built on piers and overlooks Deer Creek. It has two bedrooms with queen beds. You can enjoy fishing on the covered dock or just relax sitting by a campfire. This rental does have Directv with HBO. The Point does have two covered boat slips and is minutes to the Ohio River by water. The hot tub is located on a covered patio area. Hot tub is cleaned between stays and will require time to reheat.

Anniversary getaway
The place was amazing! The view of the lake was beautiful and there were so many birds to see. The town was also very nice with nice people and very affordable restaurants and coffee shops in town. We plan to come again hopefully this year or next year.

A little slice of Heaven!
We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful time. This is a great secluded cabin right on the water. Fishing was Amazing, Hot Tub, grilled steaks, and the views are beautiful.

3 generations trip
We came down for a girls trip. I tried to get ahold of the owner because we lost electricity and I am on oxygen. We ended up leaving a day early. The owner never got back to me. The hot tub needs to be descaled, some of the jets don’t work. The air conditioner wouldn’t turn on to cool the place off at night. I put a fan in the window to cool it off. There is only room for two people to sit in the living room and two chairs in the kitchen.

The property and cabin was in a beautiful location. Close to the Ohio River and Tell City. The Lock and Dam is very close too. We came to relax and fish. And got relaxed and caught a few fish.

We loved this little cabin. The inside is sparsely decorated, but the view is perfect. The location was so beautiful & peaceful. Sitting on the deck watching the water was our favorite part. The hot tub was nice. We would definitely go back again.

Fell in love with Cannelton and Tell City IN, as there is so much history and welcoming locals. The cabin is small but has everything you need for a great stay. The Point is secluded at the end of the road and has a great deck and views! We'll be back some day!

My two sons and I had a great time playing and fishing on the water, relaxing and eating by the fire, and playing games and taking in the great screen on the deck. This will be a place we visit again!

We had a great time! Wouldn't recommend for a big family but it was perfect for the three of us or if you have a couple and two small children! Would definitely recommend going to Indiana caverns it was amazing and the second best part of the trip right after getting to see my kiddo fish for the first time! We will definitely be back! 👍

My husband and I stayed July 10-14, it was exactly what we were looking for. Secluded, peaceful and plenty of room for 2 people. The cabin had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The covered boat dock and hot tub were wonderful. The fish weren't biting too much but the scenery sure made up for it.

Remarkable Getaway
Had an incredible stay though we had to cut it short. Brad Newton the property owner was amazing! He let us check in early. The place was nice, clean and had all we needed. Rented a pontoon from Perry Marine, and Brad let us park the pontoon at the boat dock there at the house. Great people all around.
