South Forest Beach is just across the street from this second floor, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with additional sleep space, Forest Beach Villa with a tennis court, lagoon, and pool view on Hilton Head Island.

The living area has a large wall of windows and sliding glass doors that provide access to the balcony. The dining area has a table for 4, as well as 2 stools and a dining/serving counter through to the kitchen. The galley style kitchen has a window to the living & dining areas and a convenient washer/dryer alcove.

The bedroom has a king bed, TV and access to the bath. There is an additional sleep space with a full size bed for added comfort.

Forest Beach stretches along the Atlantic Ocean between the Shipyard and Sea Pines communities on Hilton Head Island, SC. Bike paths and neighborhood lanes on North and South Forest Beach eventually draw one to Coligny Plaza, the hub of the Forest Beach area. While competing with the natural beauty and lure of the beach, the plaza offers a variety of shopping, dining, fun entertainment for the entire family and some of the top activities and attractions on Hilton Head Island.

Great Location - Excellent Condo

The condo was EXACTLY what we were searching for. About 2 blocks from the Coligny Plaza and public beach access. We biked to the beach, dinner, and shopping. It was so much fun. Only about 15 - 20 minutes from Salty Dog, the Lighthouse, and Tanger Outlets. Overall - excellent facility. I strongly advise renting bikes with a bike cart - it made going to the beach SO much easier.

As advertised

Arrival and check in straight forward. If your vehicle is large, the under condo parking might be tight. Unit is tidy and perfectly adequate for I would say a small family. We were very comfortable with just the two of us. There is no real separation between the bedrooms; there is a sliding door only. Info only, didn’t impact us of course. The in-unit washer and dryer came in handy. The complex was quiet. A walk to the beach requires crossing South Forest Beach Drive. There is a controlled crosswalk nearby which will get you access to Coligny Beach Park, and in the other direction an uncontrolled but pedestrian specific and marked cross walk which has direct beach access as well. We like Coligny circle due it’s walkable nature. Heck fire, there is even a Piggly Wiggly for your groceries, and a morning walk to the coffee shop is both a wake up and an opportunity to people watch. Oh yeah, the unit is in the middle of the complex for your parking planning.

Excellent location

Excellent overall. Only 1 major issue, they electronically change the combination of the door 1 hour before check-out. Could be disastrous for loading a car and coming back to a licked unit. I'm still angry about that. The unit is great though.

Easy and simple

The property was a good bit different than the pictures. The furniture wasn't plaid, they are now a navy blue. The bedroom quilt is now white & the sitting area now has a bed in it, (which was actually perfect for when my bf came to stay the weekend). I stayed a week and upon arrival there were signs on the elevator doors stating the pool would be closed from the day we got there until two weeks later, I never use property pools as I have pool access at home, but if I were to, it would've been a real bummer to of looked forward to it & not of not been told I wouldn't of had access to it. On top of that, there was construction going on, hence the no pool access, which made it a little noisy again, something I wish we were a least told about ahead of time out of consideration. Other than that, the place was simple, clean, easy to get to, & other than the construction it was quiet. I have a 5 year old & was by myself most of the trip, so I chose to drive to beaches with parking lots that had closer beach access, but the beach isn't but a 5min. walk if you are by yourself, with older children, or a couple with not a lot to carry. It was overall a very relaxing vacation (:

Forest Beach Villa

Nice sized unit The unit was well supplied. Things were “frayed” around the edges from being used. It was a little further from the beach than I hoped - a drive to beach parking and then a walk to the beach. The last night we were there, housekeeping let themselves into our unit after my wife and had gone to bed to “pickup a porta crib” Distressing. Good value but would prefer something on the beach if we returned to Hilton Head.
