About this property

Come relax at our spacious mountain house. Plenty of room with 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms and a large game room. Enjoy family fun with video games, foosball, and 2 smart tv’s. The large deck is a great place to bbq and look for falling stars at night. Spend your days in Yosemite, at the nearby lake, seasonal pool, tennis, golfing, hiking or resting on our shaded hammock. The entire house is heated and air conditioned with a laundry room and free wifi.

The house has 4 bedrooms 2 upstairs (1 Primary with a King bed and 1 bedroom with a Queen; 2 downstairs (1 downstaris Primary and a kids room with 2 sets of bunk beds, 1 full and 1 twin) and 4 bathrooms (2 upstairs and 2 downstairs). Downstairs is the kids haven with foosball, Galaga and Centipede arcade games, board games, darts and xbox. 2 Smart TV’s (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and plenty of movies. If you enjoy the outdoors, relax on the 1,000 sqft deck, read a book or watch the deer/turkeys meander. If you finish your book exchange it with a book on our bookcase (downstairs) or you start to read one take it home. Also there is an outdoor shower (Summer Only), by the front door, to rinse off after visiting the lake and a private patio under the deck with a hammock. Located in a gated community called Pine Mountain Lake that offers many activities (swimming (rafts provided), fishing (fishing poles and tackle box provided), hiking, golf, tennis (tennis rackets and balls provided) and about an hour to Yosemite Valley. Other amenities include free WiFi, mini splits in every room for heating and A/C.

Please Note:
For 2024, the homeowners association charges a $46 per car entrance fee paid at the main gate (credit cards accepted) which lasts for 7 days. This is subject to change in future years

If visiting Yosemite in 2024, you will need a reservation. These can be purchased on the Yosemite website. It is $2 and will allow you to enter the park. Once you reach the gate, you will have to pay an entrance fee. Credit cards accept for both transactions.

Great place for the family

3 generations stayed here for the weekend. It had all the amenities you could ask for and more. Clean, new, modern with a wonderful outdoor deck and plenty of seating.

Best Vacation in a long time

This place was awesome and we will certainly be back. This house has EVERYTHING you could possibly need for a great stay. They have thought of every little detail and there is so much to do, we actually didn't do it all. It is a great floor plan for multiple families. The deck and the surroundings are amazing. There were a lot of wildlife visitors which was exciting for all. We met other vacationers at the beach and we told them about the house we rented they were all jealous. They couldn't believe all of the amenities that were provided. The house is wonderful and we HIGHLY recommend it for families with children of all ages.

The property and owners are beyond expectations - 10 out of 10

The entire stay was excellent without any problems - Immaculate - Attention to detail - made our trip there like staying at a 5 star resort. The owners are very attentive to any concerns any time of the day - We went to yosemite and they have a great information book and tips on what to do to maximize your experience- The home is great for families with a great game room and the deck with BBQ was a focal place for breakfast / dinners .. If you are looking for a property that takes a lot of stress away from family outings - this is it !!!

A perfect home for families!

We rented the home along with my sister's family. We had the best time together! This home has everything you could ever think of. From the well equipped kitchen to the endless fun in the game room, we enjoyed every minute! The expansive deck is perfect for enjoying the gorgeous California weather while watching the deer, humming birds and jack rabbits. The owner was very kind to us and we appreciated the way they helped us with anything that came up. The Wi-FI worked great, which we needed and REALLY appreciated, because our cell service (Sprint) was non existent in the area. The home in is a beautiful lake community that offers a water taxi to the different beaches. The location to Yosemite was great! Make sure you check out Rainbow Pool in Groveland. We loved jumping off the rocks into the cool clear water. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Great for Kids!!

This house is well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. The basement is a kids' paradise! Even the big kids got into the old school arcade games! Amenities are great, everything was so organized and clearly labeled along with the book full of helpful information. Very good wifi though no cell service until we got into town. We were very comfortable. It is a good hour and a half from Yosemite Village so be prepared for that drive and get gas before you go.

Amazing for families

Our friends and family had an incredible time here. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 5 kids. Lots of games and toys for our one rainy day and a 5 minute drive to the lake for swimming, fishing & boating. About an hour and a half to Yosemite Valley and even shorter to other great spots like the Tuolumne sequoia grove. To top it off Lance & Jeanine were very helpful and accessible. Great experience!

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Absolutely loved our stay at Rising Hill Retreat! The home is nestled in a beautiful mountain community where there are plenty of activities to keep everyone busy. Even during the winter months, we enjoyed exploring one of the many kid-friendly trails in the neighborhood that followed along a creek. The house is very comfortable and well equipped throughout – perfect for our group of 2 families! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. The beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. The downstairs bonus room has a ton of options for indoor fun and was a big hit for the adults and kids alike. The owners were very easy to work with and communicated well from beginning to end. We will definitely recommend this place to others and can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Spacious, Updated home in a great location

Loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful and spacious Pine Mountain Lake home. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room to spare. It's been recently updated so everything is new and clean. Very important to us were comfortable beds, and theirs were great. We especially loved the downstairs family room for the kids (little or big). It has a large TV with loads of DVDs. Also some great arcade games. If you prefer, there's a great selection of board games. Check out the pictures on the walls. Most of them are of areas around Pine Mountain Lake. We fell in love with one of them and asked the owner where to find it. It was a picture he had taken, and he sold it to us "at cost". We even drove to Yosemite for the day. It was an easy one hour trip to the bottom of the valley. We had a great time here and will definitely return.
