Cozy, comfortable and charming little A-Frame cabin in Pinetop is perfect for a quiet family getaway, fishing, hunting, or skiing vacation. Close to lakes, trails and 30 minutes from Sunrise ski resort means lots of activities within a short drive. Or enjoy the beauty of nature from the second story deck of this peaceful location. Lots of wildlife, including blue jays, squirrels, deer and raccoon to enjoy. Rec center pass available at an additional charge gives you access to pool, jacuzzi, gym, game room with pool, ping pong, video games, air hockey, shuffle board table, tennis courts, etc. and other country club activities including stables that offer trail rides and carriage/sled rides for additional fees. Cabin is equipped with 5g WiFi, 4K ultra HD curved screen tv with PS4, movie channels and blue ray player for evening down time. Washer/Dryer in unit. Fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook and board games and books on site for fun evenings in. Queen size bed in each bedroom. 1 Queen and 1 double bed in the upstairs loft. 2 night minimum. We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The cabin is spacious, cozy, comfortable, and in a very nice neighborhood. I enjoyed evening walks through the neighborhood. Communication with Lorene was excellent; she is a very responsive and caring host!

Great Getaway

The cabin was perfect for us. Lorene gave very detailed directions, so check-in was simple and easy. It was exactly as described. Conveniently located for finding trails and exploring. We would definitely go again.

Clean, comfortable home

This property has a lot of charm, and it really sets the mood for stay in the mountains. The area is gorgeous and there are plenty of things to do. The house was clean when we arrived and had everything we could need on-hand. The property owner took care of any questions we had and was able to provide information about the area.

We enjoyed our stay in this cute A frame cabin. Everything was well stocked and the owner was very responsive when we had questions. We appreciated the option to have a physical key in addition to the keypad operated lock. We would definitely stay here again.

Fall colors in the White Mountains

Spent the week enjoying the beautiful Fall weather in the mountains. The cabin was cozy, in a peaceful location, and provided all necessary amenities for a enjoyable trip. Cooked all our meals during our stay in the well equipped kitchen and snuggled up next to the wood stove after our longs days out hiking and biking the trails.

Spacious and charming-plus very nice furnishings !

Great cabin for large family or big group of close friends. Well stocked kitchen, big comfy couches, games, music, tvs, everything you need for a fun getaway. Tall A-frame ceilings make the space very grand and open. Outdoors there's a nice gas grill and lots of seating area to enjoy the woodsy setting. Excellent hostess who "bent over backwards" to help us with some highway travel advice. Recommend highly.

Not what we expected

My husband and I stayed here for four nights in July. Of course, they were experiencing a heatwave at the time, so it was pretty uncomfortable without AC in the cabin. The nights were blessedly cool, though, which made for nice sleeping weather. Here is our list of pros and cons for this property. PROS: rustic decor, comfy couches, lots of fun games, great balcony, lots of fans (and heaters), complimentary toiletries, coffee provided, lots of cookware, washer/dryer and laundry soap provided, lots of beds for larger parties/families, owner very responsive to requests. CONS: No air-conditioning in the cabin and no screen doors downstairs to get any type of airflow, the whole cabin needs a deep cleaning and updating, flannel sheets and heavy comforters on beds in the middle of summer, steep stairs/steps which would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Disappointed

When my husband and I arrived, we were disappointed to see that the home was not prepared for our visit. Although it did appear tidy, there were crumbs on the kitchen counter and the bathroom toilet was dirty. This was noticed within a few minutes of entering the property. I immediately reached out to Lorene to let her what we encountered. She admitted the home had been vacant for awhile & thought maybe the cleaners ate there and forgot to clean up after. That being said, we would have expected that the home would have been visited to make sure it was ready for our stay. No AC. The home was dusty and although there were ceiling fans, we didn't dare turn them on due to the caked-on dust. There are not 2 bathrooms as advertised, only 1.5. This was not a big deal for us since it was just the two of us, but a family would definitely want to know there is only one shower. There is mold on the bathroom walls that is masked by the dark paint, but someone with a mold allergy will want to be aware. In addition there are no fans in the restrooms so smells and moisture will linger. The cameras on the back porch, deck and front porch made us feel as if we didn't have the privacy we wanted for our husband and wife getaway. Needless to say, we felt like we were in more of a motel 6 then a nice getaway. We were a little grossed out by knowing the home wasn't cleaned properly so even though we took stuff cook and hang out there, we spent most of our time away and ate out. Will not be back.

Beautiful location

Had an awesome long weekend. Short walk to the golf course for the car show. Not far to Casino or food/grocery. Other posts regarding needed maintenance is still valid, but did not overshadow all the positives!! One bad thing, ROCK HARD MATRESSES. Would definitely stay here again though!!

Get get away.

The cabin was clean and had every thing I needed. The first day was a little warm in the cabin, but the fans really helped. The rest of week was just perfect. I would recommend a new can opener. Had a hard time opening cans. I had to pry the cans open. Check in was easy and when I had a question Lorene got back with me right away.
