Spring paradise in Maui

The property grounds, pool, & hot tub were all pristine. And such an easy walk to the beach. We walked alongside the beach for several miles each morning and sometimes in the evening. The sunsets were spectacular. Our condo was on the ground level with a beautiful lanai. We often grilled meals with the grills very close to our unit.We loved the kitchen knife block set, dishes, washer/dryer. Two bathrooms were so nice. We shared so many laughs and memory making with our family. Initially the condo was lacking several items that were advertised as part of the property, cooler, beach towels, potholders, kitchen towels, beach chairs and our host had those items delivered to us the next day. The most comfortable bed was the twin Murphy bed in the kitchen/dining room area. We could not sleep on the pullout sofa as there was not a mattress pad and a metal bar against your back prevented us from sleeping on the sofa bed. There was one usable light blanket. The others blankets were heavy weighted winter blankets. It took us about 10 days to get the TV to work properly. We followed the instructions the host provided but that did not work. We did replace all of the batteries in most of the remote controls for the tv, fan and air conditioners as they would not work. We were able to work around each of the issues. This was a great condo for a small family gathering.

Great spot could use better communication

First time staying at Maui sunset and we would absolutely stay here again the grounds are kept so clean and a great spot that had a little bit of everything ! We stayed on the ground floor and this unit was a perfect location as you are close but not too close to the pool and you are right by the BBQ so easy access for meal time prep. This unit was clean and I would probably stay here again but the communication with the host needs to be better ! We had some issues with Checkin in, we werenā€™t given the door code so had to track that down last minute which was fine but when we arrived there was not enough bedding for the pull out beds so my kids had to sleep with towels over them for the first night. The next day we did get some bedding delivered , but when I inquired about a few minor other issues I never got a response back. Overall we didnā€™t let this affect our trip and the unit worked well for our family of 4! Just wish there was better communication with the host.

Enjoyed the location and the ground floor unit. Nice having grills close to the unit. Great beach for walking - saw 2 turtles on the beach during our stay. Would stay again!

Great condo in great location

Awesome unit, awesome complex. Host communication could have been better - didnā€™t receive any response for the hosts when I contacted them about some small issues (during or past stay). Despite that small issue I would stay there again and would highly recommend to others

We had a great time. The property was perfect for our needs and had nice amenities for us to grocery shop and cook a majority of our meals. Very nice community and loved being able to walk to the beach and a short drive to town.

The newly remodeled kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous, aesthetically great and functional lighting in kitchen and living room/dining table as well. Bath in primary bedroom is a bit cramped, but some extra space on the dresser helped. The patio door from the primary bedroom doesnā€™t open and doesnā€™t help with light as itā€™s right on the parking lot sidewalk so people walk by and cars pull in and out, so best to keep the blinds closed most of the time. Overall really enjoyed our stay and perfect for we two!

Great to be back in Maui!

We are so happy that we stayed at this location. We enjoyed every 9 days of our stay. The condo is beautiful and we enjoyed the property (grass, bbq, pools, putting greens, tennis courts, beach, ......). The location is perfect as well.

I would highly recommend staying here. Great location . Complex has great pool , hot tub , putting green, tennis courts and more. Unit is very clean and nice. Very convinient location. Close to parking , BBQ and pool. Owner responds promptly. Hopefully we will come back one day

All we needed was provided for such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, paper towels, dish liquids, laundry detergent, & softeners basic things to get to started on your trip so you donā€™t need to buy right away. Love the location close to everything. Would stay here again.

Perfect Spot

We loved our stay at Maui Sunset. The condo was perfect for our family. We have two teenage boys and we were all very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed for our trip. The condo complex was awesome. There was lots to do including the pool, bocci ball, shuffleboard, and the putting green. The bbqs were right off the lanai which made cooking very convenient. I'd recommend this condo to anyone. In fact, I already have! Mahalo Jackie and Ryan!

Everything is close at this condo

I loved parking in front of the door and having the grills 10 feet from our back lanai. There is a pull down bed so 4 people can sleep there. This condo is well stocked, both with everyday items such as toliet paper, kleenex and trash bags as well as beach items like chairs and umbrellas, snorkel mask and beach towels. This is really a complete condo, we loved it!

Great Spot!

Had our family of five (3 kids between 7 and 3) and was enough space for us. Ground level was great for the kids to take advantage of walking out of the room and playing in the green space. Little things like having a blender, magic bullet etc. was great to have for smoothies for the kids. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were also wonderful to have. Access to pool, beach, tennis etc was also fantastic. All around a wonderful stay.

Spring Break Girls Trip

Four of my friends and I stayed here for our spring break and had a blast! The property was clean and had full amenities. Having the pool and beach in walking distance made our trip so much fun. We loved staying here, definitely would come back!

Cozy spot in a perfect location!

There were 5 of us coming from Canada and we were a little worried there might not be enough room for us all, but it worked out great! The sofa bed and Murphy bed were surprisingly comfortable and we had everything we needed! Having a washer and dryer was amazing to wash off all the beach towels everyday. The spot was perfect, 1 minute to the pool and 3 minutes from the beach! We were happily surprised that the place also came with beach chairs, a cooler, and snorkels. The fully stocked kitchen also came in handy because we did a lot of cooking. Staying in Kihei was also wonderful because the town felt more low key than some of the resort areas and there were so many beaches to choose from everyday! Thank you Jackie and Ryan for the wonderful stay.
