About this property

*Free Whitewater Rafting & Ziplining* Affordable Dog Friendly Cabin!

*Free Fun Included Every Day! To enhance your vacation experience, Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals includes Xplorie, which means free admissions and rentals everyday of your stay to some of the most popular attractions the area has to offer!*

The name Sans Souci is French for "without a care" and this affordable cabin rental captures the carefree nature of the surrounding forest, tall pines and Ocoee River area. Venture out to Frog Mountain when not rafting or fishing the Ocoee River, and spend a relaxing evening enjoying a meal in nearby Copperhill or McCaysville.

The lush landscaping around the cabin gives it a cozy feel in this natural forest setting. The vacation cabin is made from beautiful dark logs and held together with the craftsmanship of half dovetail notching and white chinking, for the truest old-fashioned architectural feel. A wide deck nearly wraps entirely around the cabin, offering guests a place to lounge in rocking chairs and gaze out over the forest.

Inside your cabin, you are sure to be swept away by its simple rustic charm. The cabin has gorgeous dark hardwood floors and tasteful decor throughout. The furnishings of Sans Souci offer all the conveniences guests crave in a mountain getaway, but without exaggeration. Its the tiny details, the unique touches that set this cabin apart. The spacious first floor bedroom has a large built-in desk area, and attaches to a bath with shower and separate bathroom area. The cabin has a streamline black kitchen, and a dining area with a simple country dinette set.

The den has a rock fireplace that stretches from the cabins first floor to the ceiling, and plush leather couches for lounging. An impressive split log fireplace leads you to the second floor loft bedroom and bathroom with its private balcony and an exterior staircase extending to the porch below. Guests who are eager to catch up on quiet and relaxation will be delighted to find the small bedroom off the loft that is the ideal spot for a peaceful afternoon nap.

Whether you are looking for a mountain home to serve as a place of rest in-between whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and hiking excursions or if you are just hoping to find a quiet place to rest and recoup, Sans Souci is the spot for you!

Cousy little cabin
The cabin was amazingly tiny but cousy, perfect for a first time vacation experience. We love it. They have everything you need inside and outside. The rooms where perfectly accommodating , the only thing is that I suggest to place a courting on the second floor windows it’s amazing to see the sunrise for a day or two but after you just want to sleep for a little bit longer. Also, it was really hard to sleep good and relax since they are some dogs on a house down the hill that do not stop barking the whole day and night it’s terrible, but we still had fun and love the cabin. We had an amazing experience and will love to go back some other time. Thank you very much for letting us use your home to create memorable memories and experience the wilderness.

We had a lovely anniversary weekend here. Close to a few adorable little towns, but secluded and private. Will definitely be returning. ❤️

Off the grid.
This is a very nice cabin and get away. We enjoyed ourselves and the location. It is close to places like Blue Ridge Ga and North Carolina. So you can do a lot while there. However, there should be some updates to the listing. First the gravel road is more like dirt with gravel on a very step incline. There were huge divots in the gravel and I only have a 6 cylinder Durango and my tires spun in 2nd gear, getting down was fine. Going up to the cabin was another story. We told the property management, they advised it would be fixed after we left. But a day later it was smoothed out. Not sure if it was property management or the neighbor who did it. Next, when it say you are on a road with a dog rescue. That is incorrect. It seems to be directly across from you. You will hear dogs bark all day and night. But the dogs barking at night seem to be a bit farther away. During the day or early evening it is tolerable. Needless to say you may not be able to sleep because all you hear is dogs barking. Third there is absolutely no WiFi or hot spot location. It was fine for us since my truck has a hot spot on it. We would go to the truck to connect to make calls if needed. As for cell service, it is only Sprint that supposedly has access there. We have At&t and had no service what so ever, there or in the general area. I would definitely recommend this cabin but, bring ear plugs to sleep. The property management are very nice and helpful and easy to work with. I will definitely go through them again.

My stay.
I did love the cabin. Hot tub was great. Did not enjoy the dogs barking half the night. It did not effect my dog in anyway. I would stay at another one of your cabins.

Cleanliness is a problem
We arrived and by the time we got our toddler settled and looked around it was past the “call for complaints” window. The deck was FILTHY and the inside of the cabin had piles of dust everywhere. Under the stairs was covered and old guest dog toys in random places. The beds were so outdated that the creaked and we had family members sleeping on the floors and using foot rest to try and find comfort. Our entire party ended up leaving a day early and just not even worrying about the cost. When they say “on same road as a dog rescue” they don’t say that the kennels are on your front property line and you can hear them 24/7. The pictures do not match and the price is amazing but upon further discussion we will be paying more in the future to be able to get a good nights sleep. Oh! None of the doors lined up. You had to wiggle every door to open or shut. And the freezer didn’t work. Took 3 days to make a single ice try.
