GITE LE CLOS DES VENTS

On the alabaster coast 10 km from the beaches and villages of Veules les Roses and Saint Valéry en Caux, in the heart of the Caux region, sheltered by a beech forest, we welcome you to a gîte for 11 people of 170 m2 independent on 2000 m2 of land.

This cottage is built on the basis of an 1830 cart that we moved and restored. It combines the Cauchoise tradition (half-timbered, daub, sandstone and bricks of St Jean) and a Zen and modern interior.

For your relaxation, an old fireplace (wood provided) awaits you on the ground floor in a living room, dining room and kitchen area, wc and bathroom with shower. 1 bedroom with 160 beds and laundry room.
Upstairs, a bedroom with a 160 cm bed and a second bedroom with two 90 cm beds, wc and bathroom with shower, as well as a TV area with 140 cm sofa bed.
In the annex, 1 independent bedroom with 160 cm bed, bathroom with shower and wc and a mezzanine with 1 bed of 90 cm and a sauna room.

Satisfaisant

Bon contact avec la propriétaire tres arrangeante pour l'arrivée et le depart. Belle maison typique entourée de verdure, bien chauffée. Toutefois, a cette epoque (campagne sucrière), beaucoup de camions qui circulent. Sauna et cheminée au top. Coin avec canapé et lit vraiment en depannage. A signaler vaisselle manquante et en partie tres usagée. Propreté moyenne (lave-vaisselle, carreau, poussière)

Très chouette !

Nous avons passé un très chouette séjour dans la maison. Elle est pratique, confortable, avec un sauna ! La maison annexe a permis aux ados d'avoir leur espace c'était parfait.

W-e à Houdetot

Jolie maison dans tout petit village. Proche de Veules les Roses Contacts très faciles avec les propriétaires, très gentils Nous aurions dû mieux lire l'annonce car il n'y a pas 5 chambres. Un clic clac se trouve sur le palier. Cette maison convient mieux à 8 adultes (pas à 10).

Séjour agréable dans une maison confortable (juste une remarque d'amélioration que nous avons suggérée au propriétaire concernant certains ustensiles de cuisine qui sont à remplacer) ainsi que des oreillers un peu "raplaplas" Le reste est bien.

Lovely location and property

Great place and house to locate yourself if exploring Normandy. Upsides are location, size and look of property. Downside.. wifi is poor, be prepared to use your own data. Second bedroom in Annex, staircase is more of a ladder, ok going up but coming down is borderline dangerous, especially if child using it.

Très bon séjour en Normandie

Nous avons passé une belle semaine de Noël en famille dans cette belle demeure de Normandie. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la propriétaire et les modalités d’arrivée et de départ se sont très bien déroulées. L’angélus sonné tous les matins par l’église située juste à côté de la demeure nous a réveillé de bonnes heures (7h) donc bon à savoir pour ceux/celles que cela pourrait déranger. La maison est très bien équipée mais mériterait un nettoyage un peu plus en profondeur afin d’être tout à fait parfaite. Tout ceci ne nous a cependant pas empêché de profiter d’un bon séjour et de visiter ce coin de Normandie que nous ne connaissions pas encore. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse.

Gîte propre et très fonctionnel

Gite propre et fonctionnel : bien équipé pour 10 personnes. Extérieur avec barbecue et terrasse apprécié. L’hiver la cheminée doit être agréable. J’étais un peu inquiète sur la propreté compte tenu de certains commentaires, mais le gîte était très propre. La communication a été très fluide avec la propriétaire qui nous a renseigné à chaque fois avec gentillesse. A savoir : Pas de commerce accessible à pied Nous recommandons ce gîte.

We misten een zit-/rusthoek bij de sauna en wc-rolhouders in de toiletten. (De zitting van) de stoelen aan de eettafel zijn versleten, de originele verlichting van de keuken is vervangen door goedkope ledverlichting en te zwak. Hartelijk ontvangst met rondleiding van het huis. Huis netjes en verzorgd. Enorm genoten van echte open haard. Mooi en praktisch huis in traditionele bouwstijl, maar met hedendaags interieur.

Nous avons un agréable séjour dans cette propriété. Juste certains matelas de chambre à coucher à changer et la femme de ménage devrait être un peu plus perfectionniste. La propriétaire est très sympathique. On peu recommander cette propriété

Maison confortable

Maison typiquement normande a l’extérieur moderne à l’intérieur et confortable, bien équipée, idéalement placée. Procédure d’arrivée pratique, très bonne communication et souplesse de notre hôte. Idéale pour un week-end en famille ou entre amis. Des plus, chauffage électrique efficace, bonne isolation, cheminée, sauna, barbecue, grand jardin, cuisine bien équipée, salles d’eau spacieuse.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus, leider sehr dreckig

Die Häuser sind sehr schön eingerichtet und hochwertig und geschmackvoll renoviert worden. Die Bäder sind modern, die Betten bequem, alles ist recht gut ausgestattet. In den Schlafzimmer wären richtige Kleiderschränke toll, hier sind teilweise nur kurze Kleiderstangen und kleine Kommoden vorhanden, die vorhandenen Schränke sind nicht tief genug für Kleiderbügel. Draußen im Garten wären Liegen oder ähnliches schön, hier gibt es nur normale Stühle am Tisch und 2 Liegestühle, von denen einer defekt ist. Aber das wäre alles nicht so schlimm. Leider war wirklich alles extrem schmutzig. Alle Räume waren, wenn überhaupt, nur oberflächlich gereinigt worden. Die Armaturen in allen Bädern waren verkalkt und hatten Grünspan angesetzt, die Silikonfugen sind verschimmelt, die Duschwände waren kalkig, fleckig und es gab Seifen-und Zahnpastareste sowie viele Haare der Vormieter. Das selbe Bild zeigte sich leider in der Küche. Krümel in allen Schubladen, der Backofen war in einem widerlichen Zustand, ebenso das Innere der Spülmaschine (und übrigens auch der Waschmaschine). Der Kühlschrank war schmutzig und es standen noch angebrochene Lebensmittel der Vormieter darin. Alle Trinkgläser waren so verkalkt, dass sie rau und milchig waren. In der Kaffeemaschine war noch ein Kaffeerest, die ganze Maschine war mit getrocknetem Kaffee bedeckt. Auf der Folientischdecke, die den Holztisch schützt, klebten Essensreste. Die Böden waren schmierig, auch alle Küchenfronten waren offensichtlich mit einem verschmutzten Lappen abgewischt worden und wiesen schmutzige Wischspuren auf. Die Spülmaschine war defekt und spülte nur noch kalt. Der 2. Fernseher fehlte komplett. (Es wurde uns erklärt, durch die Schuld der Vormieter sei er defekt.) Der Staubsauger war voller Haare, und hatte kaum noch Leistung. Das alles haben wir am 1. Abend der Hausbesitzerin gezeigt, als sie zur Begrüßung kam. Sie versicherte mehrmals, dass ihr das alles sehr leid täte, die Putzfrau wäre wohl "zu schnell" gewesen. Eine Entschädigung egal in welcher Form oder ein Nacharbeiten durch die Putzfrau wurde uns nicht angeboten. Am folgenden Tag wurde zumindest die defekte Spülmaschine ausgetauscht. In Bezug auf Sauberkeit oder den 2. Fernseher ist nichts mehr passiert. Wir haben erstmal Putzmittel eingekauft und alles (!) geputzt. Alles war gut zu reinigen, wir haben Haus und Geschirr auf Hochglanz poliert! Sehr schade, dass ein so schönes Ferienhaus dermaßen verkommt, sonst wären wir vollends begeistert.

Un très bon weekend

Nous avons passé un très agréable weekend dans ce gîte spacieux et confortable. Son emplacement est idéal, à 10 minutes de St Valery et Veules les Roses. Les contacts avec la propriétaire ont été très simples et agréables. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Rapport qualité/ prix a revoir

Bonjour Il s agissait d un 2iem séjour dans ce gite. Nous avons été déçu. Il y avait un manque d hygiène net , poubelle dégoûtante, tiroir a couvert sale, beaucoup de poussières dans les coins. Difficile de passer l aspirateur vu son état très sales . La douche de l etage non fonctionnelle et l évacuation de celle du bas bouchée... on a du commencer par faire un peu de plomberie. Il manque de crochets à linge dans les salles de bains et de portes savon dans les douches. Pas de portes rouleaux dans les toilettes. La vaisselle laisse à désirer.... à renouveler et compléter pour 10 personnes. Il est temps de changer les oreillers. L emplacement et le village sont top. Le gîte mérite d etre remis à la hauteur du tarif. Bien à vous

De bonnes vacances

La maison est spacieuse et on y trouve tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un agréable séjour en famille. Nous étions 7 adultes et une adolescente, chacun a apprécié son séjour. Les draps et serviettes sont fournis, le ménage est compris : c'est un bonus ! Il faut prévoir des jeux de société et d'extérieur.
