Tourist House registration VT-PO34 well served surrounded by three river beaches, with the Ponte Caldelas, Spain first river beach with blue flag and excellent places for sports such as hunting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and biking, or the golf course with 18 holes to 20 minutes in the spa town of Mondariz. Enjoy the delicious food at restaurants in the area, plus all the necessary services, ideal for visits to landmarks, including the Castle of Soutomaior, the Cies Islands, Sanxenxo, Combarro, Pontevedra, Santiago de Compostela and beautiful place beaches. Located 20 minutes from highways to different directions and 45 minutes from Portugal. We have invitations for fishing and hunting preserves of the region. It will have our collaboration in everything you need for enjoying your stay with us. Pets are allowed. Optional cleaning service (8 euros an hour), optional service also home cooking. The house has all the amenities: fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, microwave, iron, LCD TV, towels, heating, terrace furniture and crib for children.

Superb holidays

We had a wonderfull time in Casa Nicolau. It's a very quite house surrounded by mountains. The cottage is very cosy and extremely clean. The hosts Carla y Magda are such Nice People and very helpfull. We would recomand this place to anyone and hope to return in the future, Galicia is a region that has a lot to offer. A Beautiful Oasis Of Peace And Tranquility

The farmhouse where we stayed is perfectly located to explore the Rías Bajas. The house has been tastefully refurbished to an excellent standard and the terrace and the pool looked out on stunning views of the countryside. Magda was a welcoming host who provided us with information about local restaurants and places of interest as well as gifts of food to help us through the festival of St James when every supermarket was closed. I would recommend this property without hesitation.

La casa rural esta muy bien situado, compl. cerrado por perros

La casa esta ubicado muy tranquilo pero cerca de todos los necesarios. El jardín esta completamente vallado por perros entonces la mascota disfruta sus vacaciones también. Los propietarios son super simpáticos y explican todo muy bien.

Lugar para desconectar

La casa es una maravilla: cerca del mar pero aislada lo suficiente como para disfrutar del silencio del interior gallego, su tranquilidad, la naturaleza y la gastronomía. Y si la casa es una gozada, que decir de su propietario. Mi familia y yo hemos pasado unos días maravillosos y sin duda repetiremos para conocer las otras estaciones del año en Galicia.

Excepcional en todos los aspectos.

Poco más que añadir... Desde la atención de los anfitriones a la calidad del alojamiento, todo se puede resumir en una palabra: excepcional. Las fotos de la casa se quedan cortas para definirlo, y la estancia supera con creces cualquier expectativa. Entorno bellísimo y tranquilo, y además bien comunicado. No se puede pedir más.

Espectacular alojamiento para conocer Rias Baixas

Hemos estado alojados en Can Nicolau unos 12 días y ha sido la mejor elección. Una casa encantadora y confortable... con una ubicación increíble para conocer Rias Baixas. Carlos es un gran anfitrión y nos dio muy buenos consejos para disfrutar de lugares de la zona muy acertados. Fuimos con nuestra perra que disfruto de la casa y el entorno tanto o igual que nosotros. En resumen espectacular y muy recomendable.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Galice où il a fait un temps superbe. Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et ont été de très bons conseils pour les lieux à visiter, les belles plages et bons restaurants. Tranquilidad y amabilidad

Disfrutamos de una semana de vacaciones en esta casa, aislada del mundo en una pequeña aldea. Si la intención de los visitantes es acudir a las playas de las Rías Baixas todos los días, queda un poco a desmano. Pero si lo que quieres es combinar playa y turismo de interior, es perfecta. Tranquila, muy bien equipada y mantenida; la terraza exterior con barbacoa es un goce total. Muy interesante también escuchar las recomendaciones de los propietarios de visitas, restaurantes, etc.

Everything and more

The house was very authentic including the horreos and had stunning views across to the mountains. The house had an amazing outdoor barbecue and eating area. There was a lot of attention to detail from the owners Carlos and Magda which was truly appreciated. There were flowers , a large water fountain, exceptionally well presented , clean and well equipped property. There were shower gels, and items for the kitchen such as oil, coffee tea etc. This made the stay easier for us particularly as we were travelling by motorbike. The little commune of a few houses made it exceptionally peaceful. There was a little crowing from the cockerel nearby but you are in the country. The owners were so helpful and friendly. They met us to show us the way and were available for any communication. You could not ask for any more. They gave us lovely gifts on departure. Thanks so much . The area is wonderful and we explored far and wide. It was a heavenly holiday spot. If you love peace and tranquility in beautiful surroundings you will love this house. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Weather was very hot a heatwave whilst there and the house stayed cool. Supermarket in nearby Pontecaldelas and we enjoyed a meal in the local restaurant in Caritel which you can walk to. Beaches superb in locality including the nearby river beach. If you live motorbiking as we do some superb roads. Fabulous holiday. Muchas Gracias Carlos y Magda.

Holiday in Galicia August/September 2017

Maritza and I have no hesitation in giving our stay 5 stars. Carlos and Magda were so helpful, and gave us lots of information about local events. The house has a wonderful view, and breakfast on the balcony every day was a real treat. The house is well equipped, and so quiet, (except for the cockerels!). We would thoroughly recommend this house to other people and are already thinking about planning another holiday there.

Maravillosa y encantadora

Una casita preciosa y encantadora, llena de Paz, Naturaleza, TODAS las comodidades, dulzura... y Magia...y una situación ideal para visitar Pontevedra y más allá. Pueblos con encanto a un pasito, rutas a pie, a caballo o en bici...baños en un Rio precioso, descansos y siestas en la orilla...Han sido las mejores vacaciones de nuestra vida. Recomendada 100%. Y unos dueños que te hacen recordar que aún existe los valores más maravillosos del ser humano: educación, simpatía, encanto, generosidad... Sin duda, volveremos otra vez, y otra...

Belle maison et accueil formidable

Dès l'arrivée au point de rendez-vous, visite de Ponte Caldelas avec tous les renseignements nécessaires (restaurants, commerçants, marchés, baignade...) puis découverte du gîte. Belle maison au calme avec vue sur les collines qui fait vite oublier le chemin d'accès un peu difficile. Gîte bien équipé et décoré, le linge nécessaire est fourni (draps, torchons, serviettes), tout est impeccable et les lits (faits) sont décorés de pétales de rose. La terrasse d'été (vaisselle, barbecue, plaque) est superbe. Ce sera parfait quand il y aura une communication directe avec le gîte (c'est prévu !). Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité des hôtes et leur confiance (pas de caution, on part en laissant la clé sous la porte, l'au-revoir a eu lieu la veille et nous recevons une belle bouteille du meilleur cru des vignobles de Galice). La distance à Pontevedra (environ 20 km) n'empêche pas la découverte de la région qui est aussi belle à l'intérieur (montagne, chapelles, château de Soutomayor) qu'au bord de mer. Location à recommander sans hésitation.

QUEL ACCUEIL !!!!!

Depuis 40 ans que nous partons l'été en location,jamais nous n'avions rencontré un accueil si sympathique.Carlos a été aux petits soins pour nous,allant jusqu'à nous concocter une partie de pêche en mer avec ses amis.Avec Magda ils nous ont prodigués de bons conseils sur les lieux à découvrir,les bons resto ,les bons vins.Le gite situé un peu à l'écart du village ,convient parfaitement pour un couple avec 2 enfants,les lits jumeaux étant un peu faible pour des adultes.En tous cas je ne saurai trop vous conseiller cette location dotée d'une magnifique terrasse dans un lieu magnifique. SUPER !!!!!!

Prachtig huis in een heel rustige omgeving

Dit huis heeft al het nodige comfort. De buitenkeuken met bijhorend terras zorgen voor een heerlijke ochtend en avondplek. De tuin biedt een heerlijk rustpunt. Door de vele hellingen en trappen is dit wel niet zo geschikt voor kleine kinderen. Heel veel wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt. Zeer goede uitvalsbasis om dit deel van Galicië te ontdekken. Heel rustig gelegen en toch overal dichtbij. We zijn super vriendelijk onthaalt.

Charmant chalet trés bien équipé et trés propre A noter la petite touche de déco avec les pétales de rose et le bouquet de fleurs.Un jardin idéal pour la farniente car endroit trés calme avec terrasse couverte permettant de prendre les repas à l'extérieur.Maison un peu sombre mais nous sommes souvent dehors.Necessité de prendre la voiture pour les ravitaillements.Accueil des plus chaleureux par le propriétaire qui fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable.La brève visite de Pontecaldeas à l'arrivée faite avec le propriétaire et ses conseils ont été trés appréciée Nous recommandons ce logement pour passer des vacances reposantes

Tranquilidad

Espectacular casa muy bien situada y con maravillosas vistas, lo mejor es la tranquilidad ya que no escuchas ningún tipo de ruido. Me encantaron las rutas de senderismo que hay. La casa es impecable de limpia y en un buenísimo estado y el propietario súper agradable y muy atento con nosotros, nos dio información de donde comer, cenar, sitios para visitar..... La verdad que impresionante los alrededores. Se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo

Fantastic cottage

My partner and I stayed for five nights. We absolutely loved the cottage it has beautiful views and a lovely garden but the best part was the wonderful barbecue area where we ate every night. The cottage is well located for exploring Galicia especially the stunning coastline. We will come back as soon as we can! Thank you

Perfecta

Una casa preciosa en un paraje muy bonito, a la vez que cerca de las principales vías de comunicación y todos los sercicios. Excelente gastronomía y mucha tranquilidad para descansar en armonía con la naturaleza. Trato exquisito y personalizado. A buen seguro que repetiré en cuanto tenga oportunidad.
