Leave your boat in for your entire stay. It's just a 15 minute boat ride to Salt Springs, Silver Glen, or Jupiter Springs -it's all about the water and relaxation here! Boat rentals nearby. The area claims to be the "Bass Capital of the World"! Get your freshwater fishing and swimming in nearby and/or visit the white beaches and shopping in St. Augustine only about an hour away. Welcome to our happy place! Pets accepted with a fee. Larger group? We have THREE homes on the same canal!

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

We had the best stay! Everything looked exactly like the pictures and the house was neat and tidy. Great location in peaceful neighborhood. Spent majority of the time on the back porch soaking in the serene views!

Beautiful deck!!

We had no trouble finding the property. It is a bit of an ugly duckling from the front but a beauty queen in back! We spent all day on the back deck. Gorgeous views, constant breeze, very comfy furniture! We had a little hiccup on checkin as neither one of us could figure out how to open the lockbox. Owner sent sister to the rescue and it was embarrassingly easy. We're old and arthritic... We did stuggle a little getting our stuff up the stairs in front but very glad we did. Master bedroom had very comfortable mattress. Living room chairs were low but pillows helped. Kitchen was awesome, very well equipped AND stocked! I forgot the sugar, no worries, host had some there. Appliances were all brand new. I want the fridge/freezer! So cool!! Nicely decorated throughout. Loved that deck! There is a nice view of the river traffic and lots of things going on in the wildlife category. We heard Sand Hill Cranes! Will be back!

Lazy evening on the canal

We had a great time here. The big porch overlooks the canal and we had fun simply sitting and watching the boats go by. There must have been some patches of Night Blooming Jasmine nearby because when night came their deep fragrance wafted over the canal. We enjoyed watching the neighbors go out at night and cast their nets into the canal water. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils for making simple meals. The beds were comfortable, and most important for Florida: The AC was top notch. We highly recomend this little Florida getaway.

The photos seemed more glammed up than the actual property. The carpet was full of stains and everything had a very unmanaged kind of vibe. The view outside was as nice as the pictures showed, however, my kids wouldn't stop coughing whenever they went back inside. We were planning to stay for a week yet only stayed one night. The owner did want to come in person or send their relative over to check over our concerns but by then we just had to go.

About what you’d expect for a mobile home on the river. Back deck was large and probably nicest area of the property. Kept my boat tied off to the dock, no problem…

What a great place on the water/ canal. Very cute with at home atmosphere. If you like piece and quite and alot of fishing, this is the place. Boat rentals and fishing guides all around area. We went with Capt. Don ( 2 doors down ) what a great time!!! See you in acouple months. Thanks, Jay & Kris

Absolutely wonderful experience!

We arrived 1 day post Hurricane Ian and although there was a little flooding it was just as relaxing and the photos promised. We had the Lake to ourselves because of the storm. Dee was amazing and very responsive to our questions. The place was super clean and very comfy. Will Definitely be back! If you want peace and quiet and to relax this is your place! Thank you Dee!

Great and Relaxing Country living

Property was well up to date on the exterior there are lots of spiders that would be our only complaint. But the location is a perfect distance from everything you just about need House came stocked with everything we needed to cook with a few exceptions I would def stay here again, relaxing quite space for some good ole fashion county living. Springs near by, restaurants, boat access!

Back porch along canal - beautiful

It was overall a great trip. The outside back porch is the key to this stay. The canal and access to Lake George by boat is really great. We rented a pontoon and it was easy to dock it here. Denise and her cleaning staff were very nice and were quick to reply, which we appreciated.

Great getaway!

We loved the property! Cozy and clean, in the country. Peaceful and quiet with an amazing back deck on the canal a few houses in from the river. We would totally stay there again. Recommend!

Nice getaway, great location

Nice, comfortable, we’ll stocked place with canal access. Three doors down from Lake George. Very relaxing. The new back porch and deck are great for hanging out and catching fish.

We are born and raised in Jacksonville, FL. We love all things about the water- fishing, snorkeling, surfing, skiing, boating, and scalloping. This little "lakehouse" is our happy place away from the big city - and most likely our retirement home! We can just sit by the water, enjoy the breeze under the cypress canopy while Greg fishes with the cane pole. Lazy days are important for normally very busy people, and we are very happy to share this little time away from the hustle -n-bustle. Come on over, sit and relax!

Why they chose this property

Why this place? Because you can really get away! We don't hear sirens or traffic, just fish popping in the canal, boats going nearby, birds talking, and the occasional hum of a lawnmower. Leave the city behind and really enjoy nature!

What makes this property unique

Little "cabin" on a deep/wide canal with a HUGE 52' deck. You have a breeze unlike an inland property. 3rd property from the St. John's River means very easy access. Pro bass tournament participants love this canal! 15-20 mins by boat to Salt Springs or Silver Glen. It's a quiet neighborhood, enjoyable for a walk, bike ride, or hang out in the local bar/restaurants. Golf cart friendly!
