The cabin was Amazing in many ways. We rented it for my family to stay in while we were in Blairsville for my son’s wedding. The cabin is very clean, spacious and was perfect for everyone. The cabin owner was very accommodating with our needs. I highly recommend this cabin. It sits up on a hill in all the pretty fall color trees. There’s nothing like sitting on the big porch watching all the deer.
Loved our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Our host was very responsive and provided our group with recommendations of places to hike/explore and places to eat. Both adults and children enjoyed our vacation!
The cabin and property were very nice. The location was within an hour to get to the river rafting, horseback riding, zip-lining, and shopping. Everyone enjoyed our stay.
Cabin was beautiful with many amenities. Very nice surroundings. Grocery stores nearby. Kitchen was well stocked. Communication with owner was easy. Plenty of sleeping space. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time.
We stayed here for a weekend with our friends and it was a great house for our group. The multiple living spaces and bedrooms on separate floors were great when you need to have quiet spaces for kids to nap or have adults who want to sleep in. Lots of porch space, three outdoor cookers, a nice flat driveway and a hot tub under the stars - all in a quiet neighborhood. We also appreciated that there was a close grocery, hiking and vineyards.

Roaches
Unfortunately, this stay ended badly. We had seven roaches inside the house and there were many observed on the deck. We saw two living in the Master shower on the first day. We assumed it was a fluke. Then one found in the bedroom, another in the master and downstairs. Then the last night we had had it. Then two more were found in the two bedrooms! We left a day early due to roaches! Obviously, who can sleep after seeing them crawl up the bedroom walls. We left in the middle of the night!
The house is beautiful with plenty of curb appeal. We were super excited to stay. One roach in GA, well that’s one thing but finding so many in the house that were visible means it’s infested. The owner never sent out a bug guy as he promised. Additionally, the hot tub was broken which we could not use and the owner did not have it fixed. We stayed over one week which should have been enough time to rectify Overall, paying the price we paid for a luxury property, should never have issues we had. I do not recommend this property. As a side note there are no TVs in the bedrooms only one in the loft and one in the basement, we prefer having them in the bedrooms.
We really enjoyed the design, cleanliness, spaciousness, and overall feel of the cabin and the property. We felt secluded, but still completely safe in the gated community. Both Blue Ridge and Lake Chatuge are only a 30 min drive with lots to do at both. Dean was easy to communicate with while we were there. We would definitely go back and recommend his place to others!
Beautiful 3 story house. Everything was clean and great. The house is 3 stories so your calves will get a workout. Internet access also great. Walmart and restaurants are within 15 min of the house. Great coffee shops in downtown. We went to Helton Creek falls which was recommended by the host. It was so fun and scary getting to that site but we loved it so muchwe went twice. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We are already talking about returning next year.
Dean,
This stay was amazing! The cabin is so beautiful and fun to stay at. The location is perfect and the farm the property is on is so quiet and beautiful as well. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to stay at. Thank you so much!
Family reunion vacation. This cabin was beautiful and large enough that the 19 of us (with 5 little ones) having plenty of room to spread about the cabin. Kitchen living area is wide open for the big gathering. Loved the options of the Blackstone and grill outside which made cooking for all of us easy. Plenty of eating utensils/cups plates etc too, which is usually a problem with large groups (sometimes even 10-12). The location was perfect. We were close to everything we wanted to do. Had one issue that was quickly addressed by Dean. We have stayed at several cabins through the years and this is the only one I would absolutely stay at again!
