Private lakefront entire downstairs with private entrance. . Enjoy private pier, sunrises, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, floats, fire pit, sandy beach and more. Private porch with rockers.
Full sized refrigerator, convection oven, toaster; microwave, Keurig coffee maker. Crockpot, and griddle, air fryer, instapot, pasta cooker
No stove top. . Charcoal grill available.
Not for parties or events
Laundry available by special request with additional fee.
Well behaved small pets welcomed , fee applies. $20per night per pet, with prior approval.
Sleeps 4 can accommodate 6 with living room - one bedroom with queen bed, one bedroom with 2 twin beds., $30 per night per guest over 4 people.
Plenty of towels and blankets etc. I live upstairs and probably have anything you may have forgotten.

Friday or Saturday night booking, from April to October, requires a three night booking.

Great stay

Loved our stay at Diane’s, it was short as we had a wedding to attend but will be back for a longer stay. The view of the lake is amazing, quiet, clean, and cozy. 10/10 recommend as I lived on LKN for 7 years and this is def a gem.

Lake Norman

We enjoyed our stay in the bottom unit at this Lake Norman property. There are lots of water sports and restaurants in the area. Perfect spot!

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I (and dog) stayed here to relax for the weekend and enjoyed every moment. The private beach added to the wonderful experience and kept away most Lake boaters. The property is close to all restaurants but secluded to enjoy peaceful evenings.

Another great visit

We’ve stayed at this property before and it never disappoints. The beach and the lake access is superb. The views are gorgeous. Everything is clean. The owner is accommodating. We love coming here when we want a quick lake getaway.

Beautiful Stay on Lake Norman

We were visiting the Mooresville area to see our son. We decided to stay at this property on Lake Norman. Are we ever happy with our decision! Not only is the property roomy, it was very clean with everything we needed with a great view of the lake. It was such a peaceful, cozy setting that the entire family enjoyed. Everything within the property was well organized and abundant, plus, if we needed anything during our stay, we just had to ask. Our hostess went out of her way to make us comfortable, and, she even gave us ingredients to make s'mores while we had bonfire! We had a very enjoyable stay with hiking, canoeing and kayaking. We plan to return for another stay.

Gorgeous Property

This was a peaceful downstairs (private) apartment with a gorgeous view with breathtaking grounds. There were easy to follow instructions and/or labels on everything. Everything we needed was readily available. We would absolutely use this listing again!

Charlotte area must stay

If you are considering a trip to the Charlotte area don’t overlook staying at Diane’s place. Lake right outside your door to fish and kayak and close enough to Charlotte for activities there. House is super clean and everything is provided you need and then some. Will defiantly stay again if we are in the Charlotte area.

Lake Norman 10 /1 - 10/3

What a fun weekend! Diane was a pleasure to work with. Very attentive and friendly. The apartment had anything you needed. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Loved the view and beach area steps from the apartment. Lots of water toys to enjoy. Would definitely recommend this little slice of heaven!

Awesome time!

We had a nice little family getaway! It was a little too cold to play in the water but we did get to enjoy it for a bit. A glass of wine on the pier and the kids enjoyed playing on the beach. We appreciated the treats and extra toiletries. Not too far off of a drive to Carowinds, about 50 minutes. We went to Spare Time since it was a bit chilly and the kids had a great time! Easy to get to places in town, grocery stores nearby. Great time!

Nice space with great amenities

Lovely place on the lake - already a selling point - with additional great touches: s’mores kit, towels at the ready, basket of grab and go snacks, and anything else you could possibly need. Diane was super communicative and extra kind. Driveway is an adventure, but not truly off-putting (just take all moves slowly!).

Cleanse your body and soul

Place felt like home… truly it did. Diane is an excellent human being and she takes care of things that people take for granted. She truly wants her guests to have a very comfortable stay and would try to resolve any issues that you have whatsoever. The property location is superb and it is very rejuvenating.

An Eco Gem

This was perfect for an eco consciousness, active lifestyle. We were on and off the water the whole stay. Use the grill to cook outdoors. No laundry was the only drawback with children. But perfect for couples! I will be returning next summer for a family wedding. Thank you D.S.! For wonderful relaxing stay after a long cross country funeral. This place definitely resets your soul!!

Home away from home

It was such an easy process to get in to our room and enjoy the amenities of the home; Diane was so hospitable to us during our stay as well and her presence on the property was never felt unless needed. The water was too cold to get in the lake, but we had such an enjoyable experience around the town of Mooresville (and surrounding towns). I would highly recommend this rental and we look forward to returning.

Lakeside Perfection

This was a great location for my husband and his group of anglers to stay during their bass tournament on Lake Normand. Great fireplace for evening relaxation also.

Perfect!

This was our second stay at Diane’s place. It’s absolutely perfect for our family of 3 and 2 dogs! Great location(groceries and food places within a few miles), sandy beach/dock, close to “bigger”water (we rented a jet ski), beautifully landscaped yard, lovely porch with rockers, kayaks/SUP’s. Diane always makes sure you have everything you need.

Well appointed and beautiful spot on the Lake

My husband and I spent a week at Diane's wonderful rental on Lake Norman. Her property is so beautiful and very well maintained. She has provided everything you could need to fully enjoy the Lake and yard. Kayaks, canoes, Stand up Paddle boards, life vests, floats, goggles, fire pit (even smore's supplies!), outdoor chairs, a grill, lawn games, etc. We only wish it had been warmer so we could enjoy the Lake more. We are already thinking about when we can return in the Summer. The space itself is very well supplied, clean and organized. There is an oven, griddle, crock pot, Keurig coffee, full sized fridge - everything you need to cook basic meals. Diane was very welcoming and a wonderful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this spot!
