Description
This bright and cozy coastal style home has everything you will need for a fun filled vacation! Featuring 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, the split layout provides privacy between the master suite and 2 guest rooms. The home will easily accommodate families, couples or singles traveling together.

A huge bonus to this home is the enclosed sunroom just off the lanai with large TV and 2 seating areas. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The master suite features a king bed, TV, large closet and bathroom. The 2 guest rooms, located on the opposite side of the home from the master, have a queen bed in one and two twin beds in the other with a bathroom in between them. There are TVs in each room. There is also the opportunity to sleep 2 more people on a queen sleep sofa in the living room.

This is truly a home, not just a vacation rental, furnished with every amenity needed for a relaxing vacation: linens, towels, beach towels, laundry soap, bath soap, dish detergent, bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, cooler, gas grill, etc, etc, this is a home away from home--just bring your swimsuit!

While there is plenty to do right at this vacation home, once you venture out of the neighborhood, you are close to many beaches, a waterpark, shopping and restaurants. The Ford Edison Estate and Historical Museum is a must. For baseball fans, the winter training camps of the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins are just 20 minutes away. The Disney parks are about 3 hours away. For boaters, the home is just 5 minutes from the open water of the Calusahatchee River, leading to the Gulf of Mexico. Perfect, especially for a familiy!

We‘ve been here for about two weeks and had a very good time. The house is great, very clean and the pool was a ton of fun. During our stay we missed nothing and we are looking forward to the next holiday in Cape Coral.

Good - Not Great

Stayed January 2024. Location was convenient, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to a couple of parks, grocery, restaurants, and convenient to Ft Myers (but traffic can be very bad in Cape Coral) The layout of the interior was good with the master bedroom at the opposite end from the other two bedrooms (Master bedroom mattress needs upgrading as it had some deep depressions which comes from uneven wear). We spent most of our time in the Florida Room and enclosed lanai which overlooked the canal and offered a great place for morning coffee. The furniture in the Florida Room needs updating/replacement as the support /cushions are very worn and sink down when setting on the sofas. Was lacking cushions for the two lounge chairs by the pool, but owners purchased and brought to us once we made them aware (also brought us an electric can opener which we needed). The washer required maintenance due to the spin cycle not functioning. Service was rendered but did not correct the issue - spin cycle worked sometimes / sometimes it did not. Dryer worked fine. The refrigerator needed a new water filter as the ice maker / filtered water supply did not function. Appliance serviceman said he would check with management about repairing, but was not repaired while we were there (we purchased ice trays to make ice). The exterior concrete walkways and dock area need to be power washed. Owners seemed eager to make our stay enjoyable and easy to work with.

Relaxing

The home is beautiful, very clean. The pool was so nice and that is where we spent most of our time. We didn't get out in The Kayaks because we waited too long and it got a little windy towards the end of our stay. We did go biking but had to pump up the front tire of one of the bikes in order to go biking and the next day it was flat again so would have to pump it up again if I wanted to go riding again. But no complaints! It was beautiful and relaxing!

Fun in the sun

Wonderful place and we definitely loved the pool! Washer was a little wonky, but we made it work. Really nice neighborhood. We had fun!

Stay with a couple of twists.

The house is very cozy. However, it is a bit worn out and not up to date. In Danish we call such a house "Hyggeligt", which it also was. The location is fantastic. We had some problems. The first problem was that the house had not been cleaned before our arrival. That was not what I expected from a professional landlord. The second problem is that the washing machine in the house had to be repaired twice during our stay without luck. It was very frustrating as we had only packed clothes for a week and we expected that we could wash without problems - also before our return trip to Denmark. Alysha, the manager, was nice and kind and did her best to remedy the problems. All in all - We had a nice stay. Would we book the same house again? Sorry no.

Great Stay….

Had everything we needed even down to the supply of cleanup and washing materials. Minor issue with Kayak seat (broken) and some minor structural damage to roof but didn’t spoil our vacation. Would book again….

Another perfect week in Florida

We had a great time. Rode the bikes every day. There is a nice park a few streets down. The pool was wonderful. We spent a LOT of time in the pool. Kayaked (the seats on the kayaks were broken), cooked out on the grill, went on some nature hikes, close to shopping and restaurants. Close to Ft. Meyers Beach. Went walking on the beach. The burrowing owls are adorable! Would definitely consider staying at this property again.

The house was amazing! Lots of different areas to sit and relax and with the kids it helped having beach toys, pool toys and fishing stuff! My son had the best time catching a crab and a catfish off the canal! Definitely recommend 😀

Relaxing stay at Coastal Charm

My husband, our dog and I stayed at this property for the month of March. We had our adult children and granddaughter visit for a week as well as another couple a different week. The layout of the home was perfect for both situations. We really enjoyed the sun porch and pool area and spent a lot of time out there. We appreciated the different areas throughout the home to gather as well as the numerous tv’s. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there were plenty of sheets and towels. The guest bath needs a new toilet seat and tub/shower, but they worked just fine. A big bonus was all of the basic necessities which were provided; cleaning products, hand and body soap, shampoo, dish liquid, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper etc. We rented a boat for a week which was so much fun and we highly recommend. So many great places to explore. The bikes and kayaks were nice to have available to use as well. The property was well maintained inside and out, but the interior could use a deep cleaning at some point when it isn’t rented out. My husband and I have rented numerous properties over the years and after our experience with Sue Larson Rentals and her team, Tony and Nat in particular, we recommend renting Coastal Charm.

This property was OK. There were no plastic containers for food. A broken blender that Tony said he would replace and never did. Tony did get an exterminator but we still had roaches after that both LARGE and small on the beds and in the bathrooms. There was also a very small snake in the master bathroom. I did not say anything to Tony since he never replace the broken blender. There was a film of grease under the air vent in the kitchen with many flies stuck to it. Since this is a pet-friendly house I should have been notified about the ant traps hidden in some locations of the house. My puppy did get a hold of one trap and ate the poison. I need to rush my puppy to the nearest vet.

The house, location and provided amenities (pool, kayaks, bikes) were great. The mgmt company was quick to respond to questions/comments and sent out the maintenance contact out to remedy any issues. The only thing lacking was the cleanliness of the dishes and some of the bedding. Would stay here again.
