House Terrace Paris

House of charm in the heart of Paris 10ème 2 minutes walk from the Canal Saint Martin, on the side of the banks and the famous bridge that overlooks the North hotel is also close to the Place de la République. - The terrace (29 m2), facing south, flowery and planted with automatic watering, furniture for 6 people, parasol, a garden for breakfast and sunny lunches, dinner under the stars, and sofa naps at any time ...

Gare du nord 15 minutes walk (London by Eurostar 2H30 to St Pancras)
Gare de l'Est 7 minutes walk (Reims capital of Champagne with its cellars to visit 50 minutes TGV)

It is an original house, or coexists with authenticity and modernity. The atmosphere is fresh, simple, clear, and good taste. Exposed beams, oak staircases, Swedish furniture year 50/60, video projection screen of 2.50, Hi-fi system, kitchen stainless ...

Felt like at home
We felt completely comfortable and happy during our stay in Paris. We were delighted with the lively neighborhood and the nightlife options (thank you, Félicia for the restaurant tip). Félicia's location is ideally situated and communication with her is very friendly and helpful. Likewise we appreciated the possibility of a parking lot very close by we during our trip by car. In the accommodation we felt like at home. Safe, cozy and with a very nice roof terrace. We hope that we will be allowed to come back. Thank you very much for everything.

Wonderful family holiday in Paris
We had a great stay in this fun lofty apartment. Felecia and Jean were excellent to communicate with both before and during our trip. Wonderful, fully stocked kitchen with serious appliances, cookware and dishes. Our teenagers had their own rooms to decompress in at the end of the day. We all slept comfortably. It is very quiet around the flat. The roof patio is lovely. Great shower. Everyone enjoyed the big projector TV. It worked great. Very close to multiple metro stops and Gare L’Est. Lots of bakeries and cafes close by as well as grocery markets. We would love to come again.

Great base for exploring Paris
Fantastic central Paris location in a cool neighbourhood with many shops and restaurants. Character apartment with great terrace. Not for people who do not enjoy stairs and ladders. A/C was great in main bedroom and living area during heatwave, but loft bedrooms were still very hot. Overall though, a very good place to stay. Plus, our host Félicia was very friendly and helpful!

Nice stay at the House Terrace Paris!
My sister, daughter, and I had a nice stay at Felicia's flat in Paris. The apartment is in an up-and-coming neighborhood, and we enjoyed heading to the canal for dinner and morning pasteries. Close to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est and metro stops. Below are a few realities to consider: - There are three beds--however, only one bedroom with a door. One bed (king) is in the main/master bedroom, which also includes the shower and bathroom sink (one room). The second bed is in a loft above the kitchen/dining area, accessed via a steep set of steps (almost a ladder). The loft has low sloped ceilings, and I could only stand up on the far side opposite the stairs/ladder (I am 5' 6"). I couldn't stand up as I climbed the stairs to the loft and terrace due to little clearance (you have to hunch over). The final bed is in a small room next to the living room up in a small cubby accessed through a child-sized hole in the ceiling and a ladder. - The toilet is in a separate room next to the kitchen and dining table. - There are a lot of tricky stairs (no lift). - There are four floors. The street-level entry with laundry, 1st floor with kitchen/master bedroom/bath, 2nd floor with bed and desk, and 3rd floor was the rooftop terrace. - It was nice to have a large (for Paris) kitchen and main room for prepping meals and eating. - The terrace was wonderful. - Felicia was very responsive and easy to work with.

Very good option in Paris
We have spent 9 days in Felicia’s appartement during the heat wave in Paris....hopefully there was AC!!! It was enough to keep the first floor very fresh but the upstairs beds kept being warm ...but it was exceptionally hot outside! We had great support from Jean and Felicia to find solutions like putting a tarp on the ceiling window so we would keep the sun away during the day. The terrasse on the roof was very charming as well! The appartement is located 5 min away from the Gare de l’Est which was very convenient! The kitchen is also very well equipped so we did cook couple of meals there for our family of 5!

Bastille Day at Felicia's apartment
We loved our stay at Felicia's apartment. We were a party of 4 (3 adults and one teenager) who were meeting in Paris for the Bastille Day weekend. Felicia was very kind and allowed us to check in early and also to leave our bags a bit on our last day. We received a helpful overview of everything we needed to know from Jean, who greeted us when we arrived. The apartment had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the rooftop terrace and the laundry facilities (we had been traveling for a few weeks). The neighborhood was great with many cafes and restaurants nearby and also very close to the East and North train stations. We really had a lovely time.

Merci Felicia

We had a wonderful time in a fun comfortable home
My husband and I traveled from Boston and my son, daughter-in-law, and grandson traveled from Burkina Faso for a trip in October 2018. Félicia was very helpful with directions, instructions for the apartment, and shopping recommendations. The multi-level apartment was fun and comfortable. Félicia's daughters bedroom had a magical sleeping loft but we were not comfortable putting my young grandson in a dark unfamiliar room with a ladder. He was very comfortable with a spare mattress on the floor of the bedroom. The other bedrooms were very comfortable. I think we all wanted to sleep in Ziggy's loft. The weather seemed unseasonably cool so we did not get much use of the beautiful terrace but the plants cascading down from the door was nice. We ate at several good restaurants close by but also walked to places towards the Bastille and Marais and took the Metro for restaurants in the Latin Quarter. There is a playground a couple of blocks away that entertained my grandson. As did watching the boats go through the locks on the canal. We are tourists and were interested in the museums, the walks along the parks, and the restaurants. I think it was a half hour walk to the Louvre (more or less in the center of the things we wanted to do). The Gare de l'Est is a couple of blocks away and after a few days of all walking we started taking the Metro. The Louvre and St. Michel are both on direct lines out of Gare de l'Est. We took the train from the airport and the Gar du Nord was an easy walk. My husband and son went to a Paris St Germain match which was also an easy Metro ride. The apartment was fun and comfortable. The washing machine, dryer, microwave, and dishwasher made the stay very easy. And the kitchen was wonderful. When we travel we like to go out to eat as often as possible but in Paris (with a four year old!) it's also nice to stay in with some wine and cheese and cook a nice meal from the ingredients from the wonderful markets in Paris. This kitchen was wonderful to cook in. Espresso machine, nespresso machine, nice gas stove, wonderful pots and pans, all the plates and bowls and cups and glasses you could possibly need. We've rented apartments in Europe, US, Mexico, and the Caribbean and the kitchens are often very challenging. This is really a wonderful kitchen to cook in. When I remember this trip I will think of Félicia's wonderful sharp knives :) We were very comfortable in Félicia's home.

Well looked after comfortable place to stay
Our stay here was great. Félicia the owner was very friendly, responsive and helpful to any of our needs or questions. The house was very well stocked as I believe it is her family's home outside the season it is being rented. The master bedroom with the king bed was nice and comfortable. Layout is a bit odd, with 1 bathroom (toilet is a separate small room off the main area, shower and sink are part of the master bedroom). The house is well air-conditioned, but with near record hot temperatures, the 3rd bedroom (loft) was still fairly warm. Rooftop patio area was beautiful and very well maintained. If it were a bit cooler, it would be a fantastic area to relax after dinner. Location is very convenient, with a 15 minute walk from the Gare Du Norde and a 5 minute walk from Gare De L'Est. The actual street that the home is located is very quiet, facing a business across the lane. There is a great bakery 2 minute walk from the home, and many restaurants, etc within a 5 minute walk. The neighbourhood seems to be a bit less affluent than other areas of town. I would completely recommend this home to vacationers looking for convenience and wanting a place to stay in the heart of the Paris community. It's a real home in a real neighbourhood.
