We've included amenities that we enjoy and that we know you will enjoy also: a full equipped kitchen which includes: Mr. Coffee - Coffee maker (with complimentary coffee), toaster over, Ninja Blender and microwave and beach chairs. I have included basic spices, sugar, coffee, wine glasses, tea kettle (complimentary tea) crock pot, sponges, and dish washing detergent.
The living room is furnished with a sectional, flat screen TV with a DVD/CD player and cable vision.
There is a gas grill on the deck with an additional gas tank.

You will enjoy the sectional to watch sunsets, a movie or just take much needed nap.

STAY AWAY

We stayed there for one night, just to shower and sleep while visiting Provincetown. HORRIBLE experience with this host and unit. To start, the unit itself is small, dingy, dirty, and old. There were multiple insects that we had to clear. The mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable, and reclined backwards so that when you are sleeping you are partially upside down. Not to mention - for the exorbitant cost of staying here, you have to bring YOUR OWN bedsheets, linens, towels, soap, shampoo, etc. You still have to drive if you want to get to Provincetown proper. The one saving grace was being right on the water with access to the sand and beach. But BEWARE; that's not even the worst part. About a week after our stay, I got an email from Vrbo stating the host was charging me $500 for "backing up the septic". I contacted the host at Vrbo's recommendation to request some sort of explanation or apology given that we literally stayed there one night to simply sleep and use a shower, and she hung up on me twice then did not answer any of my calls further. Vrbo is now refunding me the money, but PAULA IS A SCAMMER. Please STAY AWAY from renting from her as she has crooked and shamelessly fraudulent rental practices. I have asked Vrbo to penalize her as well for attempting such a scam. I don't often write reviews but when I feel like myself and likely others are being taken advantage of, I need to let the public know. PLEASE beware and look elsewhere.

Right on the water

This was our 3rd time staying there. It's not fancy but it is quiet and comfortable. It is right on the water with extraordinary views of the bay and the sun setting over Provincetown.

Beautiful & convenient location

Beautiful, clean place right on the bay. Spacious enough for 4 adults. Convenient 10 min drive to downtown Ptown or you can walk right outside and wait for $2 bus into town. The place had almost everything you need as long as you bring sheets and towels. In our case there was no toilet paper. I would suggest contacting property before arrival as the entry code was different than provided by Vrbo. Thankfully she was very responsive.

Truro Shore Road

We had a great time at the Truro property. The deck is divine and it was lovely to be able to see the sun rise and set right from where we were. The accommodations were comfortable. There were two small issues: 1. There was no toilet paper except a small bit on the roll in the bathroom. 2. When we arrived at 3 pm, we were unable to check in because the cleaners were still working. As I said, they are small issues. However, since we were only there one night, they presented an inconvenience. Had we been there longer, I wouldn't have even remarked. Truro, in our opinion, is the best place on earth.

It's all about the water!

We had a wonderful stay here at Paula's! It's right on the water, which is truly unbeatable. The condo itself is clean and comfortable, and the AC works great. We spent the whole week sitting outside on the beautiful new deck, enjoying the water and soaking it all in. We really appreciate the place being dog friendly and physically accessible. Paula is a great host and was very responsive to our questions. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great Location

This property was mostly as described. There was no access to a washer/dryer for guests. When they say bring your own linens , they really mean it. There were not kitchen cloths for dish drying or wiping down tables. The location is fantastic. Right on the beach. The neighbors are so friendly and after 2 weeks, it felt so comfortable.

Cape Cod rental on the beach

Location, location, location! We wanted something right on the beach and we couldn"t have gotten any closer to the water. Clean but dated and no towels or sheets but that was disclosed ahead of time. Kitchen equipped with all amenities and tv and AC worked fine. Best was the deck over the quiet beach, with table. umbrella. and comfy chairs, to just sit and watch the waves come in. Owner/renter was congenial in all communications and lockbox check in was fine. Nothing fancy, but we had a nice stay!

Great view, property in need of a refresh

Pros: Great view off the balcony! This is really what you're paying for with this rental. There is nothing but beach between you and the ocean. Check-in process is very smooth and we had no difficulty. Cons: The unit itself needs a lot of love. Lots of little things are in disrepair. None of this impacts the safety or cleanliness of the unit, but definitely take away from the overall experience. For example, one of the bedside lamps didn't seem to work, many of the light switches are cracked, some of the shelves in the fridge are broken (makes it hard to keep wine bottles upright in the door), and the furniture is relatively low quality. Also just an FYI, the balcony is shared with the people next door. Overall, I'd recommend this place only if you place a high value on having an oceanfront location.

The cottage is perfect. Right on the water, had everything you could possibly need.

We will definitely rent again. Paula was great to work with. The cottage is comfortable and we felt like we were home. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

Ruined my vacation

We arrived after 4pm, as per the instructions sent 1 week prior to arrival. We arrived to find someone else in the condo. We reached out to Paula with no response. We called VRBO customer service who was able to get in touch with her. We were told the people in the condo currently had cancelled but she would refund us our money. If they cancelled, why was I the one being penalized & left without a place to stay? I was glad to have the money back but at 7pm on a Saturday night it was very difficult to find a place. I was also not given any help from VRBO in booking a new place. I was told "I was on my own" to book somewhere & they could reimburse the additional costs. Again, it's very busy in this location and it was difficult finding a new place. The places available were very expensive so I had to leave earlier than planned. This is the worst experience I ever had on vacation. The place looked nice but you're taking your chances booking it. It looks like the same thing happened to someone else in the beginning of July so good luck if you choose to stay here.

Great location

We stayed here a few years ago before the present owner bought it. We were hoping for at least new kitchen cabinets and/or table and chairs but they hadn’t changed a bit. The chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The cabinets are dated, probably from the 80’s. One morning a fuse blew and we had a little trouble reaching the owner; the number in the book was for the previous owner who said this happened to them frequently because the book wasn’t updated. We finally found her number on line but it went right to voicemail. She eventually returned our call and gave us the combination to the shed where the circuit breakers were located but it was wrong. She texted us the “correct” number which was also incorrect as was the third number she gave us. She then said she’d ask “the man” and get back to us. We had an appointment in town so left, and sometime in the afternoon she texted us the correct lock number. We took it upon ourselves to update the book with the correct numbers. The place itself was clean and well stocked, but there was no direct access to the beach which was very inconvenient. In years past we could access the beach off the right side of the deck but that has been closed off. Overall we liked it but it definitely needs updating.

Very Clean and Convenient

One of the first things I noticed about this property is how clean it was. I appreciate that, especially during the pandemic as restrictions ease. The cleanliness and location of the condo is what earned it 4 stars. I tried messaging the property owner prior to my stay to confirm the bedding situation and to ask about an iron and didn’t receive a response prior to my stay. FYI there is an iron and there was a quilt and pillows on the bed in the main bedroom (no sheets or towels provided). The condo is dated as other have mentioned, a few minor updates would be nice. The patio light and one of the night stand lights didn’t work. The bed is VERY soft and I am used to a firm foam mattress, so sleep was so-so, but that’s personal preference. The owner provided a manual which was VERY useful, welcoming you to the property, giving you instructions on how to use things in the condo, and some tips for your stay. It wasn’t completely up to date and didn’t have blank pages for us to leave notes about our stay, but still a nice touch. I wish there was a way to get down into the beach from this condo’s deck without jumping over the railing. The ramp to the beach is on the neighbor’s side. Overall, I would consider staying here again. If the mattress was replaced I would be much more likely to seek this property out again.

Worst experience

I reserved this property in January 2021 and paid 50% deposit. I paid the balance on June 3rd. I received opening instructions a week before our trip. All seemed fine. On check in day, July 3rd after a 15 hour day of travel, we got to the property and followed opening instructions. When we opened the lock box we discovered there was no key. When we knocked on the door, two ladies answered and told is that they were booked for exactly the same dates. We were devastated, confused and quite frankly furious! After 10 attempts to reach Paula, the owner, she told us she had cancelled us a month prior which was a complete lie. She had double booked the property and we were homeless. She should never be allowed to list her property on this site or any site for that matter. She didnt offer any solution or help in any way!

Location, location, location!

Paula was a responsive and gracious host. The property is exactly what I had envisioned from the listing. It’s literally sitting on the beach at the water’s edge! During high tide, the water comes right up to the deck! Sitting out on the deck at night, with the water just below our feet, enjoying a cocktail, the peace and tranquility was amazing! The interior of the apartment was nice, but it could use a little TLC. Also, it would be nice to have linens and towels provided, although not a huge inconvenience. Overall, a wonderful stay, and we would definitely want to return in the future. Thank you again, Paula!
