About this property

Welcome to our family's 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ground floor condo! We work hard to make our condo an inviting and relaxing space for you to use as your home base while you explore the amazing island of Maui.

Sunny Kihei has earned its nickname - often when there is rain on other parts of the island the sun will be shining in Kihei! Kihei Garden Estates is a friendly, clean, and beautifully landscaped complex just across the street from the beach and within blocks of groceries, shops, restaurants, coffee, and services. We love the quiet complex's easy access to the beach, the lovely garden surroundings, and pool area with hot tub, full outdoor kitchen, grills, and covered seating.

We have made many upgrades to the unit and are always open to feedback about what we may have missed. The master bedroom has a king bed, a TV, its own A/C, and a full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and its own A/C. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds, closets, and dressers. There is a second full bathroom off the hall.

Our kitchen is completely updated and is well equipped with everything you may need: full-sized appliances, dinnerware for use inside and outside (plastic only for eating at the pool pavilion), coffee grinder and maker, blender, cookware, glassware (again, plastic cups for the pool area), bakeware, etc.

In the living room, you'll find a bar that seats 2, a table that seats 4, a comfortable sofa that pulls out to a bed, a large flat-screen TV, and another A/C unit. From there you can step out to the garden view lanai to enjoy your coffee while you listen to the birds and watch the palm trees sway against the blue Maui sky.

We go to the beach every day when we're on Maui and we hope you'll love it just as much. To cut down on what you have to buy or rent we have beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler for you to use while you're here. The beach just across the street is a great place to look for turtles and watch the sunset. from November-March you'll also have front-row seats for our favorite show, Whale City!

A couple of notes:
-As per association rules, the maximum number of guests is 6, regardless of age.
-The cleaning fee covers stays of 14 nights or less. On the 15th day (and 30th, etc.) the condo will be cleaned and the fee paid by the guest.

Great hidden gem

Beth’s place is a great hidden gem nuzzled in Kihei. There are some updates to the kitchen and washrooms which were a great touch. For a family with 2 young kids the condo had everything you need for a great stay in Maui. We love the complex and close walking proximity to shops, coffee and restaurants. We had a issue with the A/C in the master and Beth actioned it right away. She and her site contacts are super hosts. They got it sorted as fast as they could to make our stay the best. We would stay with her again. Aloha and Mahalo.

Amazing location in Paradise

Very comfortable unit. Owners are on top of any issues that may arise. The unit is in a great location for beach walks and easy access to restaurants and shops. Very comfortable complex not too big. Pool and amenities are excellent. Beautiful landscaping. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location

Had a great experience- furniture/cupboards a little older but nothing that impacted our stay - very well stocked with anything you could possibly need- great location to everything, pool/bbq area steps away- very handy on main floor etc. Even had other guests in complex approach us for contact as the two bedroom/two bathroom corner unit is coveted! Everyone very friendly, drop in Pickleball courts, 10 min walk and beach steps away. Would stay here again without hesitation, and highly recommend.

Very enjoyable

We were there for 6 nights. Condo was centrally located to shopping, restaurants, and beach. Grounds and pool were immaculate. Sitting on the patio in the mornings and evenings was really nice. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The only thing that we found odd was that if we used the second set of towels that each bathroom had, it would cost extra; the price only included 1 set of towels.

So close to an amazing beach!

We really enjoyed this condo. It had everything we needed and was a great space. The pull out bed was a nice large size and my boys had no trouble sleeping on it. We loved how close the beach was and the Kihei shopping market behind the Paia fish shop. Kihei is a beautiful town!

Great ground floor property in garden setting and close to the beach

Excellent ground level suite well situated in a quiet corner of the Kihei Garden Estates property. Very well equipped kitchen and lots of other small conveniences that we really appreciated. Convenient beach access made sunset watching a regular part of our day. Beth and Sheri were both very responsive and everything related to our long duration stay was very positive. We have stayed at several places in Kihei and would definitely recommend this property.

Two weeks in paradise

Condo is in the perfect location. Great access to amenities and beach. Lots of turtle and whale sightings. Could manage without a car as lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. We’ve stayed in this complex 4 other times in different units. Love the feel of it. Unit is as described. Some early morning noise from the market and birds but we expected that. Condo is well equipped. Owner and local contact super responsive to any questions/concerns. Beds were really comfy. Nicely furnished. Bathrooms could use a Reno but very nice to have 2 and both functional. For persons with mobility issues the tubs could be troublesome.

Well-located 2-bedroom, 2-bath Kiheo Condo 1/2 block to beach, supermarket and restaurants!

Good communication with owner and property manager via text. Very close to pool, hot tub, beach, supermarket and several restaurants. King in Master with own bath. Queen in 2nd bedroom which used hall bath. Good for 2 couples or small family. Plenty of dishes, etc. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo plus a couple of dishwasher soaps. Also a board game or two for evenings.

Our favourite place to stay in Maui

It was clean and well stocked. The grounds are immaculate. The pool and hot tub are great -- nicely sheltered from the wind. Having a supermarket (Times Market) right behind the complex is very handy. We've stayed at Kihei Garden Estates many times but the usual suite we rent was sold, so this is our first time in this one. It has A/C in each bedroom which was nice since the weather was pretty warm. Parking is pretty good -- we usually got a spot right in from of our door. The beach is a short stroll and you can swim there. Theres a clinic, Long's drugs, restaurants, and many stores all within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time in Kihei. The perfect amount of space for 2 couples. The property was exactly as pictured, located within walking distance to beaches, shops, and restaurants, and Beth responded very promptly to every question. Would definitely stay here again!

A break from the norm.

It was a clean house, property is very well maintained. The pool area is really nice and the outdoor kitchen a plus. Centrally located for a lot of activities and close to the beach. The kitchen had everything you need to minimize eating out.

We're the Bollingers, originally from Montana, long-time Oregonians, and now living in Washington and Maui. We love to travel and spend time with our family, at home and away.

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Kihei since 1997. We love that it is laid back and we've gotten to become friends with many people here over the years. We love this specific location because we are across the street from the beach and can walk to so many places while being able to drive to other parts of the island easily.
Kihei has town parties on Friday nights, and on the 4th Friday of each month the party is right across the street at Azeka! There are local vendors, food trucks, live music, classic cars, activities for kids...it is really fun.

What makes this property unique

We love the layout of Kihei Garden Estates. Having the garden in the middle is so lovely, and makes it feel like a resort. Our condo is in a great location at the back of the property. We can walk straight in from parking, and straight out to go to the pool without any stairs. Having a corner unit is also nice because we have more windows.
