A charming two bedroom house full of natural light in a private location. Just two miles from Cornell in the very quiet hamlet of Varna. Both bedrooms have a queen Tempur-pedic mattress as well as their own cable TV. The living room has a gas fire place for your enjoyment and a pull-out couch which can sleep two people. The kitchen is fully equip and with a Keurig coffee maker and coffee as well as everything you need for cooking. A private fence-in back yard with a deck, suitable to hold a dog. During summer months a grill and outdoor furniture is provided for your relaxation.

Great last minute getaway with dog

Cozy little house was perfect for my teen and our dog for a few days to be able to do a college visit, explore town and some nearby hikes. 15-20 minute drive to almost everywhere we wanted to go. Fenced in yard that doesn't share a boundary with another yard and backs into the woods felt very private. Easy to find and code in/out through the garage.

Charming House Only 5 minutes from Cornell

We loved our stay at Ron & Rita's place. The house was just perfect for our family. Location is great and close to Cornell University. The house was lovely and had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Our fur baby loved the fenced background and enjoyed playing in it. Ron & Rita were very responsive hosts. Highly recommend their place!

Getaway to see the waterfalls

Inviting and warm home with a terrific floor plan and fenced in yard. The hosts were generous with the amenities. Great property! We’d definitely stay again!

Exceptional place to stay

This house was perfect for us. The location was close to family and to the Ithaca area. The amenities were exceptional and the gas fireplace was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall wonderful weekend! The house was very clean and as described. Conveniently located, very close to Cornell University and 15 minutes from Ithaca College. The house had everything one would need and beds were very comfortable!

We had a great time staying at this house. Everything was as described in the listing. The house was very conveniently located to Cornell campus. It had very well stocked kitchen and what was really nice both bedrooms had excellent mattresses, which is not always the case in vacation rental properties. Would highly recommend this place if you want to come to Ithaca.

Lovely quiet house

Lovely spot. Nice and quite. Well appointed. Hosts are lovely. Would be nice if the house was better marked - it was a bit hard to figure out if we were at the correct place when arriving late at night in the snow. Had an issue with the heat turning on/off at odd hours but host was very responsive to helping get that fixed.

Cozy & Comfy Inside & Out

House was just as shown in the photos. Easy checkin and checkout. Lovely back yard with comfy deck furniture, table and grill - great for a summer afternoon! Inside has all the comforts of home. Hosts were super responsive and helpful answering all my questions! Highly recommend.

Great stay

I grew up in Ithaca and was visiting family with my partner so I know some Ithaca houses can be a bit odd or unfinished. However, this property was a perfect place for us and went above and beyond my expectations. I cook a lot and the kitchen was fully stocked which was a major plus. Everything was super clean and as pictured. We would have stayed longer if it wasn’t booked up for the weekend- hope to be back one day!

Very Clean and Great Location

Rita does an amazing job of adding extra touches to make sure you have everything you need! The place is very clean and the location is great in relation to Cornell. Communication was fast and helpful, we were very pleased with this stay!

Quiet and Cozy

The house was lovely and very well-equipped, warm and comfortable. It was an easy drive to the eastern part of Cornell campus. We will definitely be back next time we're in Ithaca. The owners were attentive and friendly and every need was anticipated!

We had a great stay at this small and cozy home. While the house was small every room was equipped with charming comforts. It was a pleasure. It was nice to stay in a place that was so thoughtfully decorated and comfortable. The beds were awesome. We wanted for nothing and the fit out was top notch, from the utensils to the towels.

Exceeded our Expectations

We really loved our stay at Rita's and Ron's Ithaca home. The house was perfect for our needs and very well cared for plus super thoughtfully decorated and appointed. We could not believe the generous coffee supply which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house had everything we could want and we are already talking about a return visit when the weather is warmer and can spend more time on the deck. Thank you so much to Rita and Ron for creating and sharing such an inviting space.

Thanksgiving in Ithacs

We had a perfect stay at Ron and Rita’s home over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house is immaculately clean and furnished with all new appliances, bedding and towels. The kitchen has every utensil you could possibly need. We cooked a full Thanksgiving turkey dinner for three people. Ron and Rita are kind enough to allow pets. The house is set up perfectly for a pet with a fenced in backyard, tile floored kitchen and hardwood floors throughout. Ithaca and Cornell University are only a few minutes away. There’s a nice grocery store near by, and there are numerous hiking trails along Fall Creek as well as the Cayuga bike / hike trail only a 2 minute drive from the house. Ron and Rita were perfect hosts, this is easily one of the best experiences we’ve had with Vrbo. Their communication was on time and useful, they provided everything we could possibly need, the house and property were spotlessly, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. We hope to have the opportunity to stay with them many more times as we visit family in Ithaca.

Amazing

We checked in very easily with a light snow falling all around us. The home was warm and cozy. The kitchen was beautifully outfitted and there wasn't anything I could have wanted that wasn't there. The house was clean and comfortable. The two bedrooms were perfect and I felt like I was in a five star hotel with all of the extras. My dogs enjoyed the fenced in yard and nature to watch all around us. We had an amazing time making breakfast for my son's birthday and visiting with him for his football banquet at Ithaca College. Thanks for a beautiful weekend!
