Beautiful getaway

We loved waking up and sitting on the dock looking over the water. The house was beautiful and had every amenity you could ask for! We exercised in the morning out on the patio, took a canoe out, watched the Alabama football game - great time (a little farther from campus than I thought but it was worth it!)

Great for family gatherings

The host should update the listing pictures. The listing makes the place look decent; the reality is it’s luxury accommodations. Top notch inside and out. Also, the map had me a little worried that the house was too close to the main road and the neighbors - neither were an issue in person. We’d be happy to stay here any time we visit Tuscaloosa.

Awesome house and experience

This is a great house!! We have stayed here for several years with a large family. It is so spacious and has everything we need. Barry is very easy to work with and quick to assist in any areas we needed. He was able to get the air conditioner man to come by and fix one of the units the next day. We love this house and can’t wait to come back next year!

Great week.

Very nice property and roomy living areas. Huge porch for having your coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. Close to everything for finding anything you need and for site seeing. Nice dock for sunbathing and swimming with a ladder to get in and out as well as the ability to walk in and out on a gradual pebble beach. Great week.

Family Vacation

Everything about this home was wonderful. We had 7 adults and 6 children ages 2 - 7. Plenty of room to accommodate all of us. The dock is nice and large for either sitting and relaxing or watching the kids jump off. Looking for a place to take a large family or group this is perfect!

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and graduated from the University of Alabama. After a few years in Birmingham, I returned to Tuscaloosa to practice accounting, raise a family with my wife Mary and enjoy all of what Tuscaloosa has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Most of my life I have visited and enjoyed Lake Tuscaloosa. In 2007 I purchase property on Lake Tuscaloosa and began a renting as a vacation home by listing on VRBO. This experience led me to building this luxury home designed to be the perfect gathering place on Lake Tuscaloosa.
