Charming apartment, calm & air conditioning, well placed close to all amenities

This beautiful apartment of 35 m² is located at the entrance of the medieval city of Sarlat on the third floor of a building of the XIV century listed historical monuments. It will seduce you with its warm atmosphere that give it its apparent structure, comfort and equipment. Located on the top floor, quiet, on the third and fourth floor, there is no vis-à-vis. You will have access to foot animations restaurants and shops.
The first parking spaces are 70 meters away.
Facilities: fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, kitchen utensils, microwave, fridge, small oven, filter coffee maker, toaster), sitting area with coffee table, fan, two armchairs, television with dvd player and wifi. The bathroom has a bath and wc.
Air conditioning since 2019
The reception and inventory of places of exit will be done with the concierge who will give you good advices.
Warning: access to the apartment is by stairs: not recommended for people with mobility problems

We enjoyed staying at this property, the location was great and it was good to have a little kitchen. The bed was comfortable. BUT the suite was quite run down, with a broken chair and some lights not working. The water was not warm enough for a comfortable shower and the bathroom and kitchen were not clean. The host was available on short notice although his "concierge" kept asking us to text other people rather than finding the information we needed and sending it our way. Overall, a mixed experience that could have been vastly improved with a little attention to the details of the property.

La personne qui devait nous accueillir ne s est pas présente. Elle nous a envoyée une jeune en formation totalement incompétents. Le service de conciergerie n a pas ete capable pendant les quatre jours de notre sejour de reparer la television. Le propriétaire etant injouable. Son numéro de téléphone etant erroné. A fuir de toute urgence car si grosse chaleurs la climatisation est sous dimensionnée.

Bel endroit, niché sous les toits de la vieille ville, parfait pour un couple. sarlat et sa région offre une large palette d’activités et de visites pour tous les étages.

emplacement centre ville OK. Par contre, il faut prendre en compte les 4 étages (3 étages et demi pour les paliers et un demi étage à l'intérieur du studio). Le fait d'être sous les combles, obligation d'avoir la lumière toute la journée. Un problème important pour nous : pas de connexion internet malgré la box présente dans le studio mais qui a un problème de connexion alors que nous en avions besoin. La salle de bain du studio est à restaurer (le lavabo s'écoule mal). Autre souci, l'évier était bouché et heureusement la conciergerie s'en est occupé en fin d'après-midi. Sinon, le studio est bien équipé et globalement est conforme à sa description, à part bien sûr, le problème internet.

Idéalement placé

Appartement idéalement placé au plus près du centre de Sarlat, à 100m du centre dans une rue très pittoresque. Piéce spacieuse, bon matelas, clim efficace par forte chaleur. Toutefois il est réellement au 4eme étage. Il y a la porte d'entrée au 3eme et demi puis un escalier très abrupt sans rampe entre la porte et l'appartement par lui-même. De plus il faut passer à coté de l'escalier pour aller de la pièce principale à la cuisine et aux toilettes ce qui peut être risqué.

Mediaeval building, studio apartment

We really enjoyed being in the heart of the mediaeval city of Sarlat, walking everywhere. The studio apartment was funky & fun, not exactly newly updated, but definitely lots of character & a great experience to be in a 14th century building looking out at a 12th century building across the cobblestone street. Communicating with the owner & property manager was easy & they were both helpful. A unique experience we both very much enjoyed.

Appartement très bien réhabilité avec beaucoup de goût et une bonne prestation (draps, produits d'entretien , cuisine bien équipée , etc..... ) un bémol, cependant car il est situé au 4ème étage et bien pénible pour les personnes "agées"

Location is just the absolute best possible in Sarlat

You simply can not find a better location for visiting Sarlat. Within 300 meters of the apartment are numerous shops for food, countless wonderful restaurants, artisan studios, even a laundromat and of course the cathedral, bars, shops...Yet you are in the old city and it is quiet, private and safe. Both the owner and Stephan his 'concierge' are completely helpful and so kind. The apartment has everything you could need and all the appliances are in good working order. We were entirely comfortable there for our entire stay of more than 3 months. When due to the pandemic (2020) we were obliged to stay an extra 2 weeks, the additional cost was actually more than fair. A true bargain at the price asked. Would definitely stay there again.
