Charming Artisan House 1925

Located in the heart of a historic neighborhood, this 1925 Craftsman style home is just minutes from the numerous places of interest in downtown Prescott. It is within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, museums, antique shops, parks, Prescott College, and Yavapai College. Walk to the Courthouse Square and enjoy festivals, concerts, and craft fairs.

Though quaint and historic, the house has been thoughtfully modernized. There are two bedrooms and two baths. In addition, a convertible sofa makes sleeping six possible. There is a locking one-car garage attached to the house. The spacious back yard has seating areas and patios. There is a private front patio with a BBQ area ready for outdoor cooking. An outstanding feature of the house is its spacious and charming front porch overlooking the front gardens - perfect for relaxing, reading, and watching the world go by.

Comfortable and Charming, Great Location

We loved our week long stay! This beautiful house is within walking distance of downtown Prescott with wonderful food options nearby. Everything was clean, and the host always responded promptly to questions and messages. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and will definitely book again if we find ourselves back in Prescott.

Great property and layout. Cooked a roast beef dinner for a party of six. Kitchen has all the amenities needed to help it go over very well. Would love to visit again at this property.

Wonderful property

This is my second summer staying in this beautiful house. I love how close it is to town so that I can walk everywhere. And when I am not out walking around, I live on the front porch - morning coffee, happy hour wine, and reading the afternoon away. John and Rhonda are excellent hosts. I look forward to many future summers in this house.

Great weekend getaway!

THe house was well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals without having to go out for every meal. The owner provided us with all the information we needed before checking in, and even reached out the day we were leaving to offer us to stay a few hours past checkout time due to the snow, and also offered to come shovel snow. Turned out he didn't need to, because the long term tenant in the other unit on the property came out and shoveled the snow for us. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Prescott.

We came with friends to watch the parade and tree lighting. I wish we would have been able to stay home and enjoy the sitting areas and the beautiful home. Super close to downtown...

Great location near downtown Prescott & the Courthouse Square and Whiskey Row.

We enjoyed the house and our stay. I would mention a concern about the electrical on this older home since the lighting in the kitchen would sometimes take over an hour before the light would actually come on. Also the kitchen is in need of a cabinet update and it would have been nice to know that there was no dishwasher.

Wonderful property in downtown Prescott

I have been renting a house in Prescott every summer for 10 years and this is one of the best! Close to downtown, very clean and owners who are a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to renting this house again and again!

Great house, nice and roomy. Excellent location, walk right into town. Owner was super accommodating. The front porch was our favorite place to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Not a private property

The house itself is lovely! Unfortunately the listing does not state this is a shared property. We were looking for privacy, especially for the price. I was even more disappointed when I was checking out the house & there is a joint door to the 2 properties INSIDE the home! I simply unlocked a door and opened it to another home. This didn’t sit well with me since there wasn’t even a sign on the door stating it was an entrance to another persons home. I was very pleased that the owner was very quick with responding & noticed I was upset & offered a full refund which we graciously excepted & made other plans. The property is cute and Owner is great but had the listing stating anything about this being a shared property we would have found another cabin. Therefore, I would just advise the owner to change the listing to state that since to some people this is a big deal.

Wonderful getaway

Lovely property! My entire family LOVED it soich my kids asked if we could buy it.. Actually so did my husband. Everything was spotless, comfortable and I could have sat on the porch and read a book for days!! Will definitely rent again!! Hosts were awesome!

Pleasant stay

This home was close to downtown and a couple of lakes to go fishing and have a picnic. The house had all the necessities.. We never had to contact the property manager for any issues.
