Good house, could be cleaner

The layout was great. Could have been a bit cleaner though. Not terrible, but not the best either.

Beautiful 3 bedroom condo, well stocked kitchen, had everything and more that we needed. Super comfy beds, felt like home and looked exactly like the photo's. We loved taking the bikes around the trails and found lots of activities in the area. Wish we had more time to spend here, but enjoyed our 3 days!

Perfect vacay house!

Had a nice little weekend getaway with the girls and we enjoyed ourselves and the house! It was perfect, they had everything you could need. This house really felt like home & that’s what you need when staying 5 hours away from home! We will definitely be going back.

Great 50th anniversary.

We found The home very clean, so appreciate that. It was also very well supplied with paper towels, soaps, toilet paper and Kleenex etc… So nice, even though it was 2° below zero a couple nights, we stayed plenty warm. Short walk to the shark pool and the village. We walked every day on the path, at least got 4 miles a day of walking.

Know before you go

Look, the house is nice looking, it’s in a central location, and a certain level of wear-and-tear is inevitable on a rental. The beds, linens and towels were all fine. We also thought the appliances were more than adequate. But we paid well over $400 per night all-in, and for that kind of money I expect better amenities and a greater attention to detail. I wish I had known about certain things so that I could have tempered my expectations. Also, I would have brought a lot more kitchen and cooking essentials. • Need exterior lighting out by the hot tub. And the hot tub needs a tune up because a bunch of the jets don’t work. • Fireplace is a sad little flame. • The sinks were leaking in two of the bathrooms. • No extra storage space in the kitchen for food, so everything just gets stacked on the counter, floor or tables. • The kitchen table has these seams in it that are full of crumbs and dried food. It was pretty gross. We tried to clean it up some. A vacuum would have helped but the house doesn’t have one. • None of the kitchen cabinets and drawers have pulls. Quickly devolves from a “what-a-nice-minimalist-Scandinavian-design-choice” to “oh-my-god-these-drawers-are-driving-me-crazy!” • Without question, the poorest supplied kitchen of any vacation rental I’ve ever stayed at in Sunriver. I don’t mean not enough pots and pans (there are plenty of those in the drawers that one needs a pry bar to open). I’m referring to no plastic wrap, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags, and other essentials that one doesn’t think to pack because they’re always in the rental houses. No spices, oils, vinegars, etc. beyond salt, pepper, and two huge containers of chili powder. • Literally, one rocks-style cocktail glass. So, other than the lucky soul who gets that glass, any cocktail will need to be consumed out of a wine glass, a pint glass, or a 20 oz. plastic tumbler (oh, or one Spanish coffee mug). • No usable BBQ. Not sure if that’s a seasonal-related decision or its broken, but it was piled in a corner of the garage. Had to pan-fry steaks and chicken. • The TVs are too small and old. Bad picture quality (might be cable-related) and can’t stream any of the video services. • It snowed while we stayed there, which was super cool! But the snow shovel in the garage was smashed to pieces. Maybe someone ran over it with a car? I don’t know. Just letting you know we didn’t do it and the house needs a new one.

Perfect getaway

Comfortable and clean home - perfect for our summer getaway with 3 teenage boys. Close to SHARC, peaceful setting, bikes were in great condition for the boys to use.

Just ok. Wouldn’t stay again until they change stuff.

This is a cute house in a nice area of Sun River. Easy access to the paths and a quick bike ride to Sharc and Village. Check in and out was seamless. The house is well laid out with master bedroom/bath on ground floor plus guest 1/2 bath and 2 bedrooms and hall bath upstairs. The tall wood ceiling and stairway make the house feel larger than it is. The kitchen is nice and big. Everything is just a little janky. It’s all pretty outdated. It’s a rental so I’m not expecting super expensive stuff but a lot of stuff could and should be replaced. All of the beds were HORRIBLY uncomfortable. If I had known how bad they were I would not have rented this place. They were that bad. The master was the worst. Lumpy and I could feel the sags and springs. They could easily get some affordable nice new mattresses and my review would have gone from 2 stars to 3.5 stars. They should replace them all ASAP. At least the bedding was decent. The kitchen had everything we needed but the pans and cookware was pretty old. Again such a cheap but impactful fix. There were plenty of plates and cups. Almost too many really. With all the stuff they had they left literally no room for food. There was no pantry so everything was just put on the counter. Thankful there is lots of counter space. That was nice. The dishwasher didnt do a great job but was fine enough. The fridge was big. Dated but had tons of room. The stove was fine. Uneven flames due to age but fine for a rental. They should put handles on the kitchen drawers and doors. They were so hard to grab and open from sides. Again easy fix. There were no cleaning supplies beyond soap and a sponge and a broom. Some surface cleaner was needed. Also the dust pan was missing. The washer and dryer was fine. The kitchen table chairs were super uncomfortable which was a shame since Sun River trips are a lot about hanging out at night playing cards. The table was big which was great but was rustic and had huge cracks in it. They were part of the design but had a disgusting amount of crumbs. It was gross. Also there was no pendant light above the table so playing cards was all in a weird shadow. There is a tv in all bedrooms and living. They are all so old that they don’t support streaming. So you can’t watch Netflix, Disney+ etc. New TVs would go a long way. And the one in the living room could be a little larger screen. The couch and chairs were fine and pretty comfy. The fireplace needs to be serviced so the flames are bigger and even. It was nice and warm but it was really just 1 big sad flame. There were games in the front closet but they were almost all garbage. Clue had almost every piece missing. Operation had only two pieces to get out. Connect 4 didn’t have legs so it wouldn’t stand up to play. What’s the point of having the games if you can’t play them? Toss them out and get some new ones. We always bring games so we were ok. All the bathrooms were pretty nice. The water pressure in the master bathroom shower was maybe the best thing about the house. The towels were fine. The hot tub worked and was hot but most of the jets are sad. They don’t really push air and sort of just bubble. There is 1 jet that works fine. The BBQ was fine but the igniter doesn’t work so we had to run and buy a long lighter. There was plenty of propane. There were bikes and helmets in the garage. We only rode 2 of them. They were nice. If they updated all (or even the big things) I would have given the house closer to 5 stars.

House not maintained

This house is not kept up. Many things were wrong and it was not very clean. The beds were terrible, the bathrooms had leaky faucets and wobbly toilets. The hot tub cover was ripped and had a terrible smell to it. The duvet covers were not clean. I will not stay here ever again.

Nice Home, Poor Property Management

Home was nice and as advertised but had a few quirks like no pantry of place to store dry food, we had to load up the counters, and the master bed was VERY squeaky even when turning over or moving around it, which disrupted our sleep. Also, no exterior lights leading to or near hot tub so it was a safety hazard and very dark at night. Otherwise, hot tub was lovey. Home location was great, but near lots of trees that drop a lot of needles so they are everywhere. House was in the smaller side, but very cozy. Loved the family room with fireplace. It really warmed up the house nicely. The master bathroom window was broken and would not open and close so I could not use it when getting ready in the morning which was a bummer as it got very hot. Property manager Vacasa was very poor. We are pillow people and we’re happy to see extra pillows in the closets, however, no extra pillow cases anywhere in the house. We called Vacasa and asked that for some to be brought out and they “submitted a ticket” but never arrived during our entire stay. Also, they say the home is professionally cleaned, however, I found multiple long black hairs on the pillow and in the shower even before we used them! So while the house was generally cleaned okay, attention to detail, responsiveness and follow through was lacking. They also advanced check out to 10 am (used to be 11 am) due to Covid but when asked if he can have an extra hour since no guest was checking in same day, they didn’t allow it. I am a host myself and was not impressed at all. I prefer to be able to speak to owners themselves for better resolution to issues. Otherwise, we liked the home, but don’t think we will return for all reasons mentioned.

Fun weekend

Great location. Close to the park, Shark and the Village. Used the house bikes and the Shark passes and the on-site hot tub! Master king bed on the main, master and queen rooms upstairs worked so well for our family. Kitchen layout was a little odd and didn’t leave room for our food but not a big deal for the weekend. Furniture was a little outdated but comfortable. Had an issue with the oven and the staff was here in less than 20 minutes! Fun weekend!

Great location!

This was a great location and place! Kitchen was well stocked (minus quality wine glasses, but that’s expected.) It was clean and had lots of towels/blankets/pillows for our use. The outdoor furniture could use some TLC as the backs on the chairs were broken, but minor issue. The bikes were great to have! One needed some maintenance but there were many options. Hot tub was great! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Great location

This house is in a great location, with close proximity to the Village, SHARC (not open during our stay), and Fort Rock Park. Good layout with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs and an additional bedroom/bathroom and 1/2 bath downstairs. The hot tub was a little tricky to operate and the deck was covered in thick pollen when we arrived. It looked like the BBQ had not been cleaned at all so we didn't use it. Overall, a nice place to stay but wish the outside area would have been cleaned up before our arrival.

Little Court 2 Review

Great location, especially with kids. Essentially in the middle of the SHARC and for Rock Park. Very usable and quaint downstairs. Nice hardwood floors in much of the house so you know what's clean and what isn't. We very much enjoyed our time and would definitely recommend. The difference between 4 and 5 stars (we would rate 4.5) is a useable bbq and bikes in better condition.
