What a fun, eclectic home. Has everything you need and more. Spacious and comfortable, with a great sun porch. Loved being lake front with a small beach and easy in access for the kayaks and row boat. Highly recommend!
The property was perfect for our family to celebrate my husband’s birthday by taking a long weekend It was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we could ever need. Fishing, the dock, swimming and s’mores every day is good for the soul. Our host was available when we had a question. On the rainy days we had plenty to do for those 4-76 with puzzles and games. Thank you for sharing your spectacular property with us.
We had an awesome stay! The house was clean and spacious, plenty of room for us to relax. There were all the necessary supplies you needed, and not just the basic, but good supplies! We enjoyed swimming, the paddleboat and kayaks and my grandson caught his first fish this summer, a nice small mouth bass. Of course we released him. The swans were also interesting to watch and some turkeys came through the yard one morning. I would definitely recommend this place!
The house was nicer than expected, and pictures don’t do it justice. We really enjoyed all the extra fridge and beverage space made it so there was no need for a cooler. Everyone enjoyed the peddle boat and Kayaks. The only criticism is that it was hard to sit around the fire pit in the evening due to it not being level.
Wow! What a lovely, incredibly clean lake and stay. I only wished for central air one evening- but the house generally stayed quite cool. It had every amenity and then some! Everything was neatly labeled and easy to find. There’s tons of space with great vintage charm. The double lot gave us a little more privacy than the other lots stacked up so that was nice. The beverage fridge was a nice bonus - would definitely stay here again. The trumpeter swan family and minnows that gave you a free spa experience were just amazing.
My husband, children, grandchildren, son in law and I had an unforgettable week enjoying lake life. The kids loved the beach and shallow water to play in. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all.
We had a lovely stay at this property. The lake view is gorgeous in morning over coffee or in the evening over a glass of wine. The many lake toy amenities made for very enjoyable days on the water .... and an early morning sunrise or late evening sunset kayak around the lake are the best, most relaxing ways to start and end your day. The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Just a wonderful property all around.
Beautiful Setting/Spacious and Comfortable/needs a little TLC
the house on Island Lake was spacious and comfortable; all outdoor aspects were great, porch, beach, firepit, deck, boat, swimming, and hiking trails.
There were a few problems. The house was very dark. Over head lights either not working or flashing on and off. Dishwasher came on by itself and would not turn off for two days, then came on by itself once more??? Concerns about wiring. Master bedroom bath needs to be re-caulked and cleaned. Door windows out to porch and deck covered with hand prints. Shower in the bedroom fell off holder and landed on my head. Slider to the head needs to be fixed or replaced.
It might be time for the carpet to be cleaned (washed).
We loved so much about this place and would probably stay here again. Attention to the matters above would be appreciated by any guests yet to come.
What a wonderful cabin for a family vacation. Plenty of room. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed. Right on the lake with beautiful sunset views. Mary the owner was very responsive. Will definitely go back and stay again! Thanks Mary!
Really Great Place, the master bedroom is perfect, has an amazing view and tons of space and a very nice sauna. My family and I had an amazing time on the quiet lake and surrounding area. Plenty of space in the house for multiple families.
This was our second stay and it was even better than our first! Great place for small kids to play on beach and in the water. Love having the kayaks and paddle boat. Views of lake and sunset are beautiful. Loved it!
We had a wonderful vacation with our Daughter and 3 Grandkids age 10 and 2 teenagers. I was thrilled to see my Grandkids find fun with the paddleboat, kayaks and canoes. Two of the kayaks are set up for fishing. bring your own fishing poles. Nice to see the kids faces looking and enjoying nature instead of their phones.
The kitchen had everything you need. I love having a crockpot to make dinner. Having the 3rd bathroom is nice.
We have family located through out Michigan and they were able to drive and spend a day with us. The Lake house is located in a great location. Hopefully we'll be able to fly into Michigan again!
The owner's are very nice and helpful.
You can't go wrong spending time at this Lake House,
Enjoy
Great spot for a family vacation, something for everyone.
House was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to relax and catch-up with family members we don't see often enough.
For those so inclined; the kayaks and paddle boat were a great opportunity to get out on the lake. And Rose city was close enough for antique and souvenir shopping as well as picking up groceries.
A fantastic place, thank you.
Our family just loved our stay, the cabin is perfect for a family, we enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and bonfires in the evening.
I highly recommend this beautiful vacation home.
Location beautiful, peaceful lake and community, home and property well kept and stocked. Really enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboat that were available for use, and the sandy beach was perfect for our small kiddos. Our family had a great trip and we hope to return!
