Renovated Bunkhouse with all the amenities one could need!

Bunkhouse that is perfectly suited for family get togethers and weekend trips! Features 3 rooms, a fireplace, bathroom, kitchenette area, and gaming area. This property is located a half of a mile from the North Wheeler Recreation Area that has a beach area and boat dock. In the gaming area there is a foosball table, pool table, and several other games. The only thing the kitchenette is lacking is a stove. However there is a microwave and griddles! If you need more room check out our other rental property that is at the same location- North Wheeler Getaway

Great remote location

We stayed at the bunk house over Labor Day weekend. Our six children and the two of us adults had plenty of room to move around. The games were a hit! Plenty of space to park our boat. Gravel roads lead to the bunkhouse so if you store your bags in your boat they will get dusty (speaking from experience). We went to church Sunday in Platte, which was very close. Geddes is also very close; we went to supper at their steakhouse one evening. It's a great place, with lots of room, and close to the boat dock! We will be back.

4th of July fun

This is a great property for a large group of people. It became the centralized places for everyone to hang out when the weather didn’t cooperate. Please note (and it does say this on the property description) that there is no cooktop in this property. There is a grill and a griddle, but no actual cooktop or oven. I missed reading that when I made the reservation. There’s virtually no WiFi, which is a good thing, when you’re trying to vacation. We had a blast and really enjoyed this property.
