| Important to Note about Listings Photos|
We have multiple Abode’s at this property. Each one is designed to provide our guests a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay. The photos will give you a sense of this building’s style. While your Abode may vary slightly, it will be just as well designed.

Just a 5-7 min Uber/Lyft from all the downtown hotspots! Or walk to Marathon Village and enjoy the Garage Coffee Co, Corsair Brewstillery, The Jack Daniels Store, American Pickers Antique Archaeology, and much more!

Your Abode is equipped with a smart TV or streaming device (Roku) which allows guests to access their own streaming accounts that are automatically logged out at checkout. Your Abode does not have cable or satellite service but the streaming device does provide some free TV and movie content.

Guest Access:
As a guest, you will have access to the following:

-Entire private apartment
-Gated on-site parking (first come-first serve)

The Neighborhood:
Vibe:
Marathon Village, a unique neighborhood of sorts that has become quite a Nashville hotspot, is made up of a group of 100-year-old warehouse buildings which was originally where the Marathon, a car made in the early 1900s, was built. Fast forward to today, and it has become a complex for artists’, photographers’, and designers’ studios.

Eat:
Some of Nashville's best whiskey and spirit makers call Marathon Village home. In between your tasting tours, do stop by The Bang Candy Company for one of their amazing marshmallows. You can thank us later!

Play:
Serving as a model of adaptive reuse of historic structures, Marathon Village is one of Nashville's most creative communities -- with more than 45 tenants representing fine, commercial, and performing arts. The building used to house the Marathon Factory back in 1910, which produced the Marathon Automobile. Guests are welcome to browse the facilities to see some of the old remains of this historic building in Music City.

Nearby Areas Include:

• Marathon Village -- walking distance! Nashville Pickers, distillery, coffee, shopping, lots of history!)
• Midtown (college bars, Vandy kids, good food)
• Germantown (great food, very safe area, former warehouse district)
• The Gulch (good eats and shopping)
• Lower Broadway ("The Strip", Honkey Tonks, The Ryman, museums, etc.)
• Hillsboro Village (no chains, everything in this area is locally owned)
• 5 Points (Think Nashville's version of Williamsburg or Silverlake)
• 12 South (good eats and shopping)

Getting Around:
Free Rides Downtown or Around Town:

Download Lyft and Uber apps to your smart phone for your transportation. A group of 4 new users can have 4 free ride credits. The wait time is minimal (schedule ahead of time for future arrival is an option) and you can track your car arrival on your phone.

Lyft: to receive a discount toward your first ride, enter code SUPERSECRETCODE under "PROMOS" in the app.
Uber: to receive a discount toward your first ride, use promo code vs71m in the app.

Other Things to Note:
| Other Things to Note Before Booking |

| Same-Day Bookings | We work hard to make our homes available for same day booking for those guests in need. With that said, we require a 2-hour processing time from the point that your pre-arrival form is completed, to process and approve it, and provide access details. We ask that guests that are booking the same day refrain from arriving before completing the pre-arrival form and confirmation that their reservation has been approved for check-in.

| Locals | Due to restrictions placed on us by our landlord and as a condition pertaining to our ability to host, we are unable to accept reservations from guests local to the area (within 60 miles of the listing's city). By booking, you hereby accept and agree to this condition and that you'll be required to show proof of residency. Any reservation which does not comply with this restriction will be subject to cancellation. Please contact us if you're booking within your city.

| Representative Photos | We have multiple Abode’s at this property. Each one is designed to provide our guests a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay. The photos will give you a sense of this building’s style. While your Abode may vary slightly, it will be just as well designed.

| Long Stay Cleaning Fees |
Abode reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee when a stay exceeds 30 days. For each 30 days increment, an additional cleaning fee will be added to the stay.

| ID Verification + Credit Card Verification |
All guests are required to sign a separate rental agreement, and digitally provide ID prior to receiving access details. This information may be used for a basic public records search. Please see the "House Rules" section for complete details.

Additional credit card verification is required for bookings where the OTA does not handle guest payments directly. This specifically includes sending a photo of the card used for the booking and confirming a test charge before check-in can be approved. The name on the card must match the name on the reservation.

| Potential for Noise | You’ll be in an urban setting next to train tracks in addition to being in a residential apartment, which may be prone to noise from neighbors. We've included a pair of ear plugs and a white noise machine in case you need a little help getting a good night's sleep.

| Limited On-Site Parking | There is limited on-site parking. However, there is ample street parking available. Reminder to please lock your car and remove valuables - we are not responsible for theft or damage to your vehicle or its contents.

STAY NEAR VANDERBILT

This place is lovely. Soooooo close to Vanderbilt.....like 3 minutes away..... and that's why we rented this VERY CLEAN place. If you only need to bathe, eat lightly and sleep, this will serve those needs. Forget real cooking, sitting comfortably or taking a safe feeling walk. The kitchen had no kitchen towels or washcloths. There were no coffee filters nor laundry soap. The bathroom needed a hook for your clothes. The bed was very uncomfortable. One can get over all those things, but the three times during our week long stay we heard loud, angry voices outside our door at 2 in the morning and we witnessed two drug deals going down! The owner jumped right in and put the culprits on written notice by posting them on their door but..... it's scary and did not give you the best feeling while you're trying to walk as part of your recovery from surgery. Like I said, dollar for dollar, if you're at Vanderbilt most of the time and only use this place to sleep, bathe and light eat, you'll be ok. Jim and Emily were great, doing the very best possible to polish this diamond in the hood.

6/10 Okay

tracy p.

Inside was fine except: loud heating unit and tv was only what accts you brought to it

The interior was fine. Bed was great, except they use flat sheet where they should use fitted. The train(s) run too close to the unit! If you're a light sleeper you have to run the heater/ac at night to muffle outside noise. The neighborhood leaves lots to be desired, scary for people who aren't used to transient lifestyle. Abode did their best to accommodate us but in the end I would NEVER stay there again...sorry
