One of the only diagonal streets cutting through Philadelphia’s grid design, Passyunk Square (Ironic, isn't it?) has always stood out from the crowd. The neighborhood is a delightful blend of old-school traditional charm and influx of dynamic vibrant new energy.

The highly walkable and friendly neighborhood of East Passyunk is lined with indie boutiques, bars and cafes. It’s home to traditional Italian restaurants, world-famous cheesesteak (Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's Steak, both open 24/7) spots and highly acclaimed eateries that have earned it a spot on Food and Wine’s list of 10 Best Foodie Streets in America. Visitors can pick up one-of-a-kind gifts at cute boutiques and independently owned shops, sip coffee or tea at local cafes.

Neighborhood-favorite bars (P.O.P.E., Stogie Joe’s), cutting-edge restaurants (Fond, Stateside, Will) and indie boutiques (Metro Men’s Clothing) integrate with classic neighborhood food institutions, for an experience not easily replicated elsewhere in the city. Don’t miss the Singing Fountain, an only-in-Philly attraction right in the middle of the action. Weary walkers can sit a spell at the Singing Fountain, a park that plays hits of yesterday and today.

Acme Supermarket and famous Italian Market is within walking distance and perfect for any grocery needs.
Many local restaurants and entertainment also easily accessible nearby the neighborhood.

Very close to several Septa bus stops and only a 5-minute walk from the Tasker-Morris Station for the Broad St line. Philadelphia is a Lyft/Uber friendly-city with relatively low prices $5-20.
Please take a moment to carefully read the house rules. Once you have finished, kindly reply with "WILL ABIDE." Thank you.

Wonderful Location

The location of the property is wonderful. It was easy to get to the subway and the Passyunk neighborhood has lots of great places to eat and just explore. Very easy to find and check into the property. There is really the one bedroom and a fold out sofa/futon bed in the den that my son was fine with. Overall would stay there again if we had to come back to Philadelphia. We were there for the NCAA wrestling championships at the Wells Fargo Center. I was able to walk there one day and took the subway the other times. Very easy to reach and communicate with the owner.

Well located comfortable apartment in lively Passyunk

My husband and I stayed at this very comfortable apartment over Christmas during the bitter cold spell we all had recently but the apartment was warm and cozy throughout. Elaine, our host, was very helpful and responsive. I only regret not being able to use the roof terrace with its great view of the Philly skyline - far too cold - but am looking forward to returning in warmer weather.

Comfortable Apartment in Great Location

This is a comfortable well-furnished apartment in the Passyunk Square neighborhood of South Philadelphia. This is an area that has become hip in recent years, and its vibe is reminiscent of the East Village in NY (after gentrification.) The apartment is within a stone's throw of excellent restaurants, quaint shops, a pharmacy, a supermarket, a police station, a park with playground, multiple bus lines, and the Tasker/Morris stop of the Broad Street subway line. In short, a very good location for families with children. The apartment itself is perfect for parent/s with two children, as it is a one bedroom with a good-sized pull out sofa in the living room. There is a working kitchen with a breakfast nook as well as a nice bathroom with a washer and dryer. There is also a roof patio that gives an excellent view of fireworks all across the city should you be traveling close to July 4th or a similar holiday. Despite being in the midst of cafes and stores, the apartment is very quiet. The owner is easy to contact by phone, and very nice about answering any questions you might have. In all, we were very content with our stay here and would happily stay here again.

Modern, very attractive apartment in lively, safe neighbourhood

Excellent accommodation in newly and attractively decorated, spacious and well-appointed apartment, with a lovely terrace directly out of apartment (i.e. no stairs up to terrace), with both sun and shade, so you can eat easily on terrace. Great sunrise and nighttime views over main Downtown area, including One Liberty Plaza. Very responsive and attentive owner, who replied to all emails within minutes. You can comfortably walk to Independence Hall in under 30 minutes (which we did, both ways, even in the very hot days we stayed in August), and can easily detour via the Italian Market and the beautiful 18th century, narrow, tree-lined avenues alleys around Washington Square along the route. The description makes no mention of parking, but - whilst busy - with a little bit of planning and navigating one-way streets, we were able to park our rental car literally right in front of door up to apartment for our whole time there and noticed from the terrace there was often a parking space nearby. Very safe, lively up-and-coming neighbourhood in South Philly. Geno's and Pat Steakehouse are just minutes away - you can easily buy cheesesteaks to go, and eat them whilst still warm on terrace back at apartment, and it is so close you can choose time to avoid any queues! Large supermarket is just across street, and is a pleasant store with all you need including deli, wine and beer in store. Great end to our holiday in US. Best thing was the ability to park safely right in front, leave car and just walk to and from Downtown in safe and character neighbourhood.

Vacation

Great place. Close to lots of restaurants and shops. But it says 2 bedrooms it doesn’t have 2 bedroom. They have an air mattress to use in the living room. That is all that was wrong. But we work with it.

Convenient using code (no keys) for entry to building/apartment. I was communicated to immediately after reserving and I received all needed information in a timely manner. Elaine was kind enough to quickly answer any question I had! The apartment was exactly how described and pictured. It was clean, spacious (larger than I thought it'd be) and comfortable. The covered deck is perfect to relax on. The location was in good proximity to every activity we had planned in Philly as well as NJ (BB&T Pavilion). There's a small local coffee shop a few doors down! I will be staying here again when I come back down to Philly!

Apartment very clean. No working TV but internet connection so you can cast from your phone to TV as a monitor. Only 1 couch - no chairs in living room. Third floor walkup & parking can be a challenge as it is on street only. Great neighborhood and good location.

Cute Philly Apartment

We stayed for 4 days. Our apartment was everything that was advertised. Centrally located with a market across the street and a coffee house right below. Apartment was cozy and clean and had a beautiful day and night time view of the city. Italian market district, and Genos was within walking distance. Owner was very receptive and was available if we needed anything. The only draw back is the 2 flights of stairs.... other than that we enjoyed our stay and will definitely reccomend this place to anyone I know coming to Philly.
