Offering stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space, the open layout kitchen is the perfect spot for conversation and great cooking. Custom blinds and wood beam ceilings give you a sense of coziness throughout the home. As the day winds down, enjoy your private firepit for evening campfires right outside your back door. Let the kids play catch in the large backyard, or take a walk to the beach and watch the loons. Walk down to the shared sandy beach with a swim raft and amazing sunset views.
Things to Know
This is a quiet lake. Neighbors are particularly sensitive to loud noises. Many will immediately call the state police if guests are loud or intrusive. Please respect these neighbors.
Please note that there is no public boat launch on Friend's Lake and no boat launch at this location. You are not allowed to bring your own boats to this lake. This includes kayaks, canoes, and other small personal watercraft.
Trash service is not available at this property. This property is located in an area administered by the Adirondack Park Commission. As with many remote homes in the Adirondack Park, this is a carry-in, carry-out location. Please take trash to the Chestertown Landfill/Transfer Station . We recommend calling early in your stay to find out fees and open days.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
