This beautiful oceanfront townhome is located within the gated resort of Wild Dunes in one of our most requested villa communities. It features three spacious bedrooms, hardwood floors, renovated kitchen and bathrooms, complex pool access, and gorgeous oceanfront views. Step right off the charming screened porch and walk out to the beach!

The first floor of the villa contains open-concept living and dining areas. The upgraded kitchen has an expansive central island with granite countertops and modern stainless steel appliances. There is seating for 8 guests at the high-top dining table. You'll find plenty of space in the living room area to relax or spend time with friends and family. Perhaps the most popular feature of the villa, which is accessed just off the living room, is the screened porch, which has incredible ocean front views. Enjoy a meal on the porch at the glass dining table with seats 5 guests or talk a stroll down the back stairs and walk directly over to the beach access path or community pool.

The first of three bedrooms is also located on this main level. It features 2 full beds, TV, and semi-private bathroom.
Up the stairs to the second floor, you'll find the remaining two bedrooms. The expansive master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed, TV, private bathroom, and large private deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The 3rd bedroom is perfect for kids, and has a twin-over-full bunk bed, TV and private bathroom. For convenience, the washer and dryer on this level as well.There are a number of amenities to enjoy when renting in Wild Dunes Resort, including 2 championship golf courses, a world-class tennis facility, bike rentals, miles of nature trails, local restaurants, salon with spa services, and more!

Classic Family Beach Trip

Highlights: - Location, location, location! Wild Dunes is as beautiful as it has always been and this beachfront condo was great for our family beach trip with 5 adults. - Bedding arrangements were perfect for our needs (adult children bringing friends) - Sweetgrass Properties communication and responsiveness were fantastic. Opportunities: - The condo furnishings and decor show some age and wear but are certainly still functional. - At this price point (albeit a premium for July 4th week), I expected nicer / matching dishes, flatware, pots/pans, and kitchen tools. - Would be great to have some beach chairs and toys available for guests.

Excellent Location, Unit Needs Updating

The location of this property is ideal. Within eye shot and ear shot of the pool (great to keep an eye on kids). Beautiful views of the beach. Easy, quick access to the beach. The condo itself honestly fell short of my family's expectations. The fridge / freezer does not work properly. We were told to give it 48 hours to "cool down." It took more like 72 hours, and it still wasn't cold enough. We constantly had to sniff food before eating to make sure it hadn't gone bad (and a lot did go bad). The owners need to buy a new fridge. The dishwater pools water in the bottom of the machine. The aspect ratio on all the bedroom TVs is off, so the picture doesn't fit the screen, making it frustrating to watch. There is a weird two-way mirror between the master bathroom and the bedroom (like the kind you see in police interviews), which made no sense and seemed like a cheap fix to a hole in the wall. Overall, the condo needs fresh paint and some sprucing up. It feels a little tired and looks a little dirty. We've stayed in Wild Dunes properties for about 10 years now, and while the location for this property was lovely, the property itself needs some attention.

Perfect spot

The condo was perfect since we had the 4 and 7 year old grandkids! They could go outside from the screen porch and head for the pool or beach. We loved not having to get into an elevator to go have fun. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots, utensils. We didn't have to run the dishwasher after each meal! Great to have full size washer and dryer rather than a stacked version. Grandkids loved playing on the top bunk. The area is nice and quiet, and since there aren't high rise condos on Isle of Palms the beach was never crowded. I'd recommend IOP and Beach Club Villas to anyone visiting Charleston. It's a good base to head into the city

Wonderful location

We had a wonderful vacation in Wild Dunes. The property was located in an excellent location. It was oceanfront, close to the pool and beach. The rental was clean and spacious. The only suggestion that I would have is to replace the master bed as it was uncomfortable.

Everything was good. Everything was clean. The couple things we didn't like was the fact that the 2 bed bedroom was NOT queen like thee website said. There were 2 full size beds instead, which really sucked. Also, the hot water heater must be extremely small because only the first 2 people in the house to shower had hot water. Everyone else had to take cold showers. We would stay here again but not number 23.

Great Property Location

Loved the location and ease of access to the pool or beach just beyond the pool! Check in being so late (after 4pm) is rough for a vacation and the mattress we slept on was well worn so it sank in the middle. Overall those were the only (very minor) items that were less than five stars. Compared to the amazing location and spacious area in this unit they are easily outweighed by the positives. We would absolutely stay here again!

Spring Break

Perfect spot for our family. We enjoyed the beach, bike rentals, trips into Charleston and Sullivan’s Island, and walking up to Heuys for a drink on the back patio looking over the golf course.

Great location but a bit tired and in need of an update

The condo's location is fantastic and the view from the porches is lovely. The building is older and the interiors are dated and need refreshing. The downstairs is a bit dark and some additional lamps would be helpful. I wish the company had explained the pool was closed (rather than rely on the blanket disclaimer about COVID). While we were there a cement truck and crew worked for two days on cleaning and resurfacing the pool. It was so loud we could not enjoy the porches and had to close the doors. If you stay more than a couple of days, you will need to provide all your own cleaning supplies, etc. as they provide very little.
