This place was so comfy cozy... we spent a lot of time by the fireplace and in the hotub. The last day it snowed and the views were amazing.

Great place to relax with family

The property was great - especially with the new additions! Kitchen is good for cooking for a group. Loved the screened porch. Bunk house was great for our young adults. Hot tub and fire pit got a lot of late night use. Lake was good for fishing and water sports. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic cabin for family and fishing!!

We had plenty to keep us busy with a family. Fishing/hot tubbing at this very sweet and rustic log cabin setting is a great way to spend a family vacation!!

This property was perfect for our two families, 8 people total. Plenty of space for us to spread out, several bathrooms and adequate outdoor seating. Relaxing!!!

This place is so relaxing and wonderful. It’s such a quaint little place, the pontoon was a great feature. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay at this place. Daniel and his dad are great!!!!

Family/Friend fishing week

House/cabin was comfortable with enough beds for everyone. Kids had their own bunkhouse with full bathroom. Nice updates in the house. Pontoon is a great bonus, as is the hot tub. Enjoyed a cup of coffee in the screen porch overlooking the lake every day!

The cabin has a great view, pontoon boat, and a nice private hot tub. We had a few small problems, but the communication with the owner was fast and everything worked out fine.

Great Views of the Lake and Loons

Charming log cabin with modern upgarded kitchen, bedrooms & baths. The kitchen is very large with lots of room for gathering the family. Fully screened porch overlooking the lake was very relaxing. Lots of space for the family to spread out. The pontoon was great-no issues whatever with the motor (often a problem at other rentals) and on-the-lake refueling station just across the bay was very easy. I wish the depth finder was operating however. All in all - wonderful, relaxing stay.

Beautiful setting

The lake, trees and grounds were beautiful. We used the pontoon multiple days and it was our highlight. Sitting on the dock near the water was also wonderful. The property is actually quite private. The fire pit and deck were used frequently. Beautiful! Loved the area and being close to Longville.

The property was perfect for our family. The views, the bunkhouse, the pontoon, the Otters that swam up to the dock every morning... I could go on and on. Dan was also amazing and was quick to respond with any questions we had. Will definitely be back for another stay!

Fantastic Few Days

We really enjoyed our stay here. This is about our 4th time on this lake chain and really love each lake, and Longville for gas/groceries/supplies/fishing bait. The cabin is in a quiet location and the dock/pontoon made for some relaxing days of fishing, swimming and scenic boating. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. My kids were super excited for the fire pit as we made Smores one evening. Thanks to Dan for great communication and accommodating us when we had to arrive a few days late. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

This was an amazing property that had just been through an add on process. It was so beautiful with a screened in back porch. The owners brought over a sectional patio couch and coffee table which quickly became the favorite hang out spot when not on the boat. The upstairs living was perfect for game playing and the town was only a few minutes away. There’s not much in the town but it has everything you need. Bait shop was very friendly and had maps of the lake, Common Grounds was a good coffee stop with excellent prices, and the woodpile has putt putt fun! On Wednesdays through the summer the town has turtle races, although there’s a lot of people it’s not overly crowded. Wonderful vacation would love to come back.

wonderful get away with a few hints on how to make better

Hot tub was out of order, no one came to look at until two days before we left. The pontoon was not cleaned, therefore I left it as my family found it.

Cozy cabin

The cabin was tighter then we expected the kitchen barely fit one person. The windows were extremely dirty so as looking at the lake was impaired. The cabin wasn't really on woman lake it was girl. Not much happening in town. The hot tub was enjoyable but needed cleaning. Overall we still had a good time and the cabin had more to offer than listed.

Great Week with Family

I stayed here with my parents, my brother and our families. We ranged in age from 19-80. We had a great time and used it as home base. We fished the lake (best spot was right off our dock) as well took day trips to the Mississippi Headwaters, Duluth and Canada. The home had all the kitchen stuff you could need. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat, bikes and boat. There is nothing quite like sitting around a fire every night listening to your kids (19-23 yrs old) talk to their 80 year old grandparents. It was a great week. Only downfall was it got a little muggy at night. I know we were here during an unusual heat spell, but there is no air conditioning. We opened the windows and put fans in them and it was okay. But as we are from the Missouri-it took a little getting used to not having air conditioning. That being said, the lack of air conditioning would not prevent me from staying here again. Wonderful old log home with lots of character.

Some friends arrived first and I got a text: this place is awesome! We didn’t use the pontoon, but kayaking was incredible on 10/8/22. The cabin and bunk house were wonderful. The amenities were perfect. This place is a 10/10. I highly recommend!!
