The home is situated on a manicured 2.5 acres of gorgeous waterfront property along the St. Clair River. The grounds has plenty of parking for visitors to park their trailers and boats to enjoy the water. Launch your boat at the Algonac boat launch located less than 1 mile away and enjoy world class boating and fishing, especially Walleye fishing.

The house itself was recently updated with new furniture and décor. It is very spacious with tons of room for lots to enjoy. It has breathtaking views through large bay windows of the St. Clair River where one can sit and enjoy watching the freighters, fisherman and wildlife drift by.

Pearl veach/Algonac family visit. Its been 8 years.

Beautiful home

Extremly nice. There was plenty of room. The rooms and beds were comfortable, and scenery gorgeous. We had to travel to Herson Island a few times and it was really convenient and well run

Spectacular

We did a family staycation for the 4th! The house was amazing. Lots of room with a gorgeous view of the water. My special needs daughter and I enjoyed sitting on the dock and watch all the boats go by. The boys loved boating and fishing. The house was well stocked. The host was pleasant and very easy to communicate with. Overall we would definitely go back for another visit!!!

Great house

Our stay was a great experience. We were in town for a family reunion and this house was great for our needs. We enjoyed being so close to the water and seeing the freighters. The only drawback is that there is no AC, which is disclosed in the listing. It was pretty hot during the day even with the windows open, but we were rarely at the house during the day and it stayed relatively cool at night with the windows open and fans going. Thank you so much for opening your property to us and being so accommodating.

Fishing and Ships

My family loved this property. Being right on the river was very nice and had such great views. We could see ships passing all day and night. Fishing on the river was also good and we ventured out into Lake St. Clair, which was great! Matt is a very good host and communicated with us in a timely fashion. He even gave us fishing spots! We definitely would come back to this VRBO.

Lots of Freighters

This was a wonderful property. One bedroom on the main floor with the. kitchen and dining. 3 more bedrooms upstairs with a large living area. Beautiful deck, fire pit, gas grill. Located such that you can walk to the state park and to the art fair. We have already booked for next year!

Long Weekend Stay

Our stay was overall good! The communication was great and the owner was very responsive! The area and house are really charming and there was lots of outside space to gather. The weather was extremely warm and humid and the house does not have air conditioning, but there was an attic fan, and other stand up fans that helped, along with the cool winds off of the water at night so it was comfortable for sleeping.

Algonac stay

Couldn’t be any closer to the water!

My friends and I had a great Momcation at this house. It is directly on the water and has beautiful views from most rooms. Plenty of space, clean, great area for walking, and the water was refreshing. We enjoyed watching the freighters go by and relaxed in the water with our tubes and SUP boards tied to the ladder. The games and fishing poles were a nice touch! Thank you!

Wonderful house on the river

This house is amazing. It has 4 bedrooms but could accommodate more because there are two roll away cots and couches. All necessities are supplied. Plus fun things are also supplied…fishing poles, games, books, fire pit and wood, WiFi, direct TV, etc. Stores (Kroger, Dairy Queen, etc) are all close by. The view of the St Clair River is amazing. Sit out back and watch the freighters and boats go by or fish from your deck chair. There’s a ladder so you can easily swim in the river but be careful of the current. We will definitely rent this property again.
