Kitchen has pots pans knives etc.. Multi-unit discount available. Large parking area that will hold all the boats you and your crew brings. Outdoor fire pit. Pavilion available for group dinners and get together. Start out on the south end of Jonathan creek for early morning crappie fishing.

Fishing trip

The room was clean and quiet. However they advertise fishermen welcome. I would like to see a fish cleaning station available and bait available. We had to drive out of our way to get bait. If I was coming back for a stay and not fishing I would stay here again. But if I am planning on fishing I would go somewhere else.

Nice place. Pets allowed!

No lake view, nice clean kitchenette rooms. Lake close with marina and beach. Small mini golf course and pool! Close to malls, shopping. We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful lake area very clean!

Great Place

Really enjoyed our stay and for the price, it was perfect. The private park was awesome for fishing. We will definitely stay here again.

Trip to Kentucky

The Pirates Cove area is really nice. Close to the Lake. There is a beautiful pool at the Resort and a miniature golf for entertainment. We really enjoyed pour stay in Kentucky. The Resort Lodge is quaint and you should not expect any nicities. We were put in Lodge room 9 which had some areas that needed cleaned and some needed repair. However, we were basically only there to sleep so we managed fine.

Awesome place

This place was clean inside and out and if my grandkids weren’t leaving on Monday to go back to West Virginia we would have checked with management and stayed longer. Hoping to return for our Anniversary and maybe someday purchase a place of our own there. Everyone was super friendly pool and beach were great. We also enjoyed the use of the fire pit provided.

Close to everything but it seems so far away!!

It was so easy checking and checkout was a blast. If you want to get away for peace and quiet This is the place. The place was clean just little hair in tub. I clean it out with no problems. I will be returning for future visits Oct 2020!!

Already looking to come back.

This isn't the fanciest place but it's in a great location and it's comfortable. We walked in and we both said, "this is perfect". The kitchen does have the bare necessities though it's just a mini fridge so keep that in mind. We had a great time. We're already looking at coming back.

Quiet and simple

We enjoyed being close to Kentucky lakes and many state parks. The place is quiet and easy to find. It is pretty basic and older. Kitchen is bare minimum (small stove, very small micro and small fridge) and not many dishes for more than two people. It was nice to have a place with air conditioning and it beat tent camping on a hot Memorial Day weekend.
