Glenda was amazing. The location was perfect to walk and shop and find plenty of places to eat. Description was accurate. Lovely place with lots of history. We would love to stay again.
Apt G was perfect for long time friends to spend time together. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, well-stocked kitchen ( but we didn’t cook), lovely basket of goodies, yogurt in frig plus cream for coffee. Glenda was the nicest host - friendly and accommodating. Also enjoyed a brief observation of a glass making class. It was perfect!!
This was the 19th annual trip with my two besties. We met in college, started doing the yearly weekend getaways in our 30s and are now middle aged. This loft is the absolute coolest! Everything you need, plenty of room, and so much character. Your Vrbo photos don't do it justice, to be honest. It surpassed our expectations!
Absolutely amazing experience in every regard. This apartment has a perfect location (for Guthrie ... and it's an easy drive to Stillwater / OSU as well). Everything needed for a great stay is provided. Beds and linens are wonderful. Kitchen is stocked better than my own! Great water pressure, cold A/C, plenty of space to spread out and relax ... all included. This will be our "go to" place to stay when we are in the area.
One final note: if you get a chance, be sure to go to the gallery below for a glass blowing demonstration. It's amazing!
I have stayed in many VRBO's over the years and this one is the absolute best ever! I was in town for my grandson's wedding and had more family staying with me and this rental far exceeded our expectations. I have never stayed in a rental with such a well stocked kitchen from pots & pans, dishes, spices and just about anything you needed - everything was well thought out. Guthrie is a neat little town and the rental was in the middle of downtown. Everything was within walking distance; restaurants, museums, interesting little shops and even a full supermarket. Our host owns the glass shop downstairs from the rental and we were fortunate enough to observe a glass blowing class and watch a vase being made from beginning to end. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone visiting Guthrie, Oklahoma.
What a great experience! We absolutely loved this property and the location was fantastic. So much character in the architecture and within the home itself, and so close to restaurants, an amazing bar, antique shopping and more. Highly recommend, and thanks for a great stay! :)
Apt was well appointed and historically old. Very quaint and roomy. In the middle of downtown walking distance to grocery bar and antique shops. Beware there are lots of stairs.
Glenda was lovely and accommodating. The property has great old school character. Large enough to really spread. out. The location is excellent and within walking distance for shopping and finding unique restaurants.
I had 4 photographers in town that stayed here to work at last weekends Western Dressage World Championship Show at the Lazy E arena. They all had nothing but good to say about their stay! Glenda was very helpful and her communication was excellent! We will definitely look at staying there again when we come back next year!
My bridesmaids stayed in this amazing apartment over my wedding weekend and this place far exceeded my expectations. Spacious and roomy, but also so clean and full of historical features. My wedding photographer just about died with how great of a place this was for me to get ready and take some snaps of us. Also, THE BATHROOMS. So nice and hard to find!! Highly recommend

Best vacation rental in Guthrie
My wife and I own a vacation rental so we are very aware of what it takes to maintain and run a property.
Glenda does a great job and I can recommend this place to anyone who visits Guthrie. It’s right in the middle of the downtown area and close to everything. There’s lots of room and the kitchen is well-equipped. The den is very comfortable and there is a deck that overlooks garden patio.
Highly recommend it.

Elegant and comfortable apartment in historic building
This was the most elegant and comfortable BnB we've ever stayed in. We loved being in Glenda's upscale, perfectly appointed apartment. She has put so much artistry and care into every detail. The walls are hung with art, and the shelves have creative glass pieces made in Glenda's gallery downstairs. The beds are new and very comfortable. The kitchen was perfect, completely stocked with high quality cookware and anything you might need.
A welcome basket greeted us when we arrived. And coffee. And popcorn. The apartment is quiet, with great separation of spaces. It has two bedrooms and two baths, a living room and hangout room off the kitchen. The apartment is well insulated and stayed comfortably warm, even when the temperature outside dropped below freezing. Glenda artistically retained the feeling and decor of this historic 1900 building.
Glenda is a treasure. She has the kind of energy I can only wish for. She's attentive to every need, kind and generous. She teaches glass blowing in the studio downstairs. If you're there when she's teaching, take a little time to go in and watch. Fascinating.
We fell for Guthrie and will be back. More to do there than first meets the eye. Don't miss a tour of the Masonic Temple. It's gorgeous inside and has quite a history. Every other Saturday evening, Byron Berline hosts a concert right across the street from the apartment. These are world-class musicians. Look him up on Wikipiedia if you don't know him already.
All in all, ten stars out of five. We hope to return in the future for a longer stay (we threatened not to leave...) Thank you, Glenda, for all of it.
