Our little red one story home is within walking distance to historic downtown Grapevine (the Christmas Capital of Texas) as well as within 8 minutes to the airport. From the large backyard, you can hear the music playing at the festivals throughout the year as well as sit and enjoy the squirrels antics. Over the last 6 months, this 1950's 2 bed 1 bath home has been completely renovated into a cozy 3/2 that welcomes all visitors! The back yard is next on the list. A new fence went in March of 2018 to ensure privacy and allow the canines or kids to romp about. It is large and quiet. The home is filled with original artwork from 2 local artists and reflects the diversity of Texas. Enjoy.

Was in town from Idaho for a weekend family wedding. House had everything I needed and located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It was within walking distance to historic downtown and I was able to do that with my dog everyday. Would stay there again if another wedding takes place.
We loved staying at this rental. It was clean, quiet, and very local to the Convention Center that our company conference took place at. Kari was available for any requests (although we didn't have any extra needs), and was there for support every step of the way! We would absolutely book here again :)
We stayed at this location with a few friends for wine fest! Perfect place, very clean! The owners were very nice to work with.
Perfect location if you want to walk to main street
We rented the property for my two sons and their families to visit us in Grapevine. There were 4 adults and 2 kids, ages 3 & 5. The property slept all comfortably, with enough amenities for everyone. It is cute and clean and in a good neighborhood. We would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay within walking distance to downtown Grapevine.
We so enjoyed staying together in the house instead of hotel. This was a girl cousins weekend trip. 2 blocks from downtown shopping. Only issue we had was after a heavy rain the toilets stopped up. However the owner was quick to send her husband over and fix it.
Spent a great weekend with my husband, our dog, daughter, son in law, and their 2 dogs. Plenty of space indoor and a great fenced in backyard for the dogs. Owner thought of everything including stuff to make our own stockings! Fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of bath towels made this stay worry-free! Beautifully decorated for Christmas but I’m sure it’s just as cute for any other time. Definitely recommending to friends who also travel with their furbabies!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Turn on Vine, cruise past Airplane, hanging out at Pine….
The only problem we had was that we never received our entry number to get in. Even though we left a message with no response, we happen to be lucky that the owner just happened to stop by to bring the garage cans from the curb. Good location, clean, cute little house. You could buy all new pillows, either flat as a cardboard or too full, which this is important for people traveling. A pizza cutter would have been nice too along with a box of Kleenex and 1 bathroom had no body soap (it was out). The place had recently been updated, nice appliances, nice towels and the beds and air conditioning was very comfortable.
Great little place near downtown grapevine. Hosts are nearby if anything is needed and answered messages immediately.
Will stay again if returning to the area
This was a wonderful place for our Sister’s Weekend! We like to spend lots of time together just relaxing and catching up. It was close to historic downtown so we could walk and not have to find a place to park. The owner quickly took care of our needs when we had questions. It was a great getaway!
We had a band come in from NOLA to play at our house party, they loved this set up! The host was responsive and oh so helpful. They says the house was adorable, comfortable and just perfect!
Thanks so much
Really enjoyed our stay. The home owner was very nice. Check in was seamless and we will stay here again in the future.

About the host
Hosted by Kari Perkins
We are a small family that loves Grapevine. With the kids grown - one is getting married this year (2019)- and just us at the home, we decided to try something new. This is it. We have a woodworking business (Anarque Woodworks) and we vend our product at the local festivals. Hopefully, these side activities will help me go back to school for my doctorate and allow us to enter retirement.
Why they chose this property
This home is in a unique area of Grapevine. It's location is centrally located and quiet. You are steps away from downtown Grapevine and easy distance to downtown Dallas and Fort Worth!
What makes this property unique
The yard is huge and after we purchased the home, we completely remodeled it. The kitchen is one I wish I had in my current residence. And the artwork is one of a kind. The Horton's are local artists and we love them!
