Nice place but needs a deep cleaning

The place is just what you see on pictures, close to a lot of restaurants, parks, shopping and furniture is new. Not sure if we were the first guests after lockdown but the bedroom fan, base boards, walls, light switches, the floor and the kitchen were very dirty, even dishes, utensils and pans had bugs on them along with dry foot that dishwasher didn’t remove. We also found dirty socks on one of the closets. It is sad the cleaning crew did a poor job, this made us feel uncomfortable during Covid so we spent good part of our fist day going to the grocery store for cleaning supplies and back to the apartment to clean as much as we could and wash bedsheets and towels as everything had dust. I definitely recommend a deep cleaning before it is too late and things need to be replaced and our message to future guests is to be cautious and bring cleaning supplies.

Great Property to Stay

Our family loved the property and amenities. The Pool area is great for adults and kids. They sure know how to make a nice poolside drink! I also was very grateful we didn't have to throw away our leftover food. We were able to keep it in the home for the housekeepers to take care of. The only suggestion I have is to be more accomdating with Paper Towel, Toilet Paper and Laundry soap. We bought Laundry soap which was clearly too much for a week and had to leave it due to flying. I would suggest if a prior guest leaves laundry soap/diswasher soap/dishsoap/extra paper towl or TP that the next guest may appreciate it. It would not cost the property management company anything and would be beneficial for the next guest. We also were very thankfully of the partnership the company has with the company we rented a scooter from. Sure beats the price of renting a scooter from one of the amusement parks.

We Didn't Want to Leave!

Wow - what an amazing property! Rarely does the property outshine the pictures, but somehow when we walked in we were even more blown away. The property managers have paid attention to all the details. The kitchen was well stocked for easy meal prep. I love to cook and I had no trouble making the more involved recipes I love to put together. The condo was incredibly clean. The master bed was possibly more comfortable than our bed at home. We had an issue with the ceiling fan on the porch. We put in a maintenance request and it was responded to the day of. We met the technician as we were coming back from the pool and he was incredibly friendly, and he had fixed other things that we didn't even know were a problem. If you've never stayed at Storey Lake, the pool area is a HUGE dray. The pools are heated, and even on busy days, it never feels crowded - lots of seating and space. The lazy river is long and keeps you moving. The pool is big enough that you can find your own space. The staff are friendly and they bar has great specials. All of it is free aside from low cost mini golf and kayak rentals. A friendly piece of advice for those thinking of booking, if you can bring dish soap, a sponge, dishwasher tabs, and extra trash bags if you don't want to buy them. The nearby Publix is not cheap and those things aren't supplied. That being said, it isn't typical of rentals like this to supply anything more than a very small amount, so don't let this deter you. We will book mark the property for a future visit!
