NEWLY BACK ON THE MARKET - This adorable, modern creekside farmhouse on 2 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains between Ellijay and Blue Ridge GA is a one-of-a kind find - definitely not your “cookie-cutter” cabin. To the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit, 3 porches and a deck overlooking a noisy creek, add: Brick floors, wood planked walls and ceilings, stain glass windows, french doors and farmhouse touches throughout. With views & sounds of a rushing creek in the backyard, this house is a magical memory maker.

Decorated with a designer’s touch of modern meets vintage, the home has 3 bedrooms, each with queen beds and ultra-comfortable mattresses and reading chairs (2 BRs have TVs); 2 baths, one with a brand new walk-in tile shower and the other with a clawfoot tub; living room with working fireplace and new overstuffed leather couch and cozy chairs; farmhouse dining room table with seating for 6; large screened porch with conversation area and long eating and game-playing table; rocking chair front and back covered porches; and a deck with a view of the creek.

The modern meets vintage vibe is evident throughout. 2 bedrooms have vintage stain glass bordering french doors that open to a porch or deck. There’s hi-speed wifi available inside and out. Follow the flagstone path a few dozen feet and enjoy the firepit area with seating for 6 overlooking the rushing creek (or enjoy the creek from a second spot featuring an iron and wood bench). Sounds of the noisey, rushing creek can be heard from everywhere. For entertaining, other than porch sitting and firepit chilling, there are 3 flat screen TVs, an outdoor ping pong table, all weather, heavy duty cornhole set and a chest full of games. This house is perfect for a peaceful get-away and/or a fun-filled get-together.

Located about 25-35 minutes between the downtowns of Ellijay and Blue Ridge, GA, it’s remote and quiet, an easy (less than 2 hour) drive from Atlanta. We live here when you aren’t here, so we hope you love it as much as we do. Send us a message with any questions!

Great Girl’s Getaway!

The house is super cute and I’m a remote location but about 20 minutes from town. We loved the creek and the house was well stocked. We had trouble with the electricity due to a power outage and were sad to cut our trip short by 1 day. Thanks for having us and sharing your little piece of heaven!

Gem of the Blue Ridge area

This is a beautiful farmhouse. We were originally looking at getting a log cabin but after reading all of the reviews for this farmhouse we decided to spend 4 days here. Oh my what a great decision this was. The house is beautiful!! The yard is even so so much better. The creek that runs through the property is lovely and the sound of it is awesome. Waking up early in the morning and having coffee on the patio with the sound of rushing water is absolute bliss. Family loved doing stores at the fire pit The house is perfect located between Blue Ridge and Ellijay. Only about 20mins from both. If you are looking for peace and quiet and isolation I 100% recommend this house. We will be coming again and will spend an entire week here next time.

Beautiful property

This rental was a perfect getaway if you want to get away. Minimum 15 minute drive to anything but that is the point. Perfect setup with lots of sitting areas to just stop.

Idyllic

Idyllic is the best word I can use to describe the property, the host and our stay there. This is one of the rare occasions where my expectations were exceeded. For anyone looking for a gorgeous and tranquil place to stay, this is it! We did a couples getaway for Valentine with my sister and her husband. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.

It was very quaint and quiet we had an awesome time!

We would love to return again however we came from Jacksonville and will never ever never go through Atlanta Georgia. On our way back home we took the back roads and so enjoyed the view instead of the interstate. Georgia is a great state to visit the people are so nice and friendly.

Mini Fall Vacay

I can not say enough good things about the house and property!! We had two couples and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully stocked and we made dinner two nights of our stay! We didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the hook and ring game. The fire pit was also another favorite by the creek and the swings were fun! Thanks for sharing this beautifully decorated, charming and relaxing home! We enjoyed downtown Blueridge and a train ride to McCaysville. We also hiked a short way to the suspension bridge over Toccoa River. We learned there is a unpaved road to the trail closest to the bridge or you could park and hike 3.6 miles. All were within a 20 to 30 minute drive from the cottage.

This was such a beautiful property. Charming in every way. I could have stayed here for weeks and been happy. Had every necessary amenity and was beautifully decorated. The outside area was wonderful as well. Multiple seating areas to enjoy the outdoors as much as possible.

Amazing stay!

This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The photos online (although lovely) do not capture the full sensation of this place... from the noisy creek in the background to the coolness of the brick floors beneath your feet to the light shining colors through the stained glass throughout. We hope to find our way back again soon!

Spectacular

This property was just what my girlfriends and I needed for a weekend away The design and details of the entire property was astounding. There was not one thing we could even think of that we didn't have. Sitting outside listening to the creek was so relaxing. Beds were very comfortable. Exactly what we had hoped for

We had a wonderful stay at Misti's charming farmhouse. My kids (ages 5 and 3) loved exploring the property and surrounding area, especially the creek! The kids loved seeing all of the cardinals in the afternoons while roasting marshmallows by the firepit! Misti made sure to check in on us and was very responsive to all of our questions. She really makes it easy to settle in, especially with a well-stocked kitchen. We made a couple of day trips to Anna Ruby Falls and the town of Helen, which are about an hour away. I can't recommend this property enough, if I could rate it 10 stars, I would!

Chillin down at the creek.

This property was spot on with what was shown on line, in fact it was better in person. It was perfect for myself, my mother, and my sister. We each had our own room. We did share the only shower, however it didn't present a problem for us. We truly had the most amazing time here. We visited some lovely small towns nearby and drove through some beautiful country mountain roads and were able to see the leaves changing. I think one my favorite things to do was relax down at the creek. The sound of the water was so soothing and calming. I could easily get spoiled doing that every day. The farm house is so charming. They had several places to relax. There is a beautiful screened in patio, a lovely front porch with a hammock to lounge in, and a wonderful balcony that has a beautiful view of the peaceful creek. It had a well stocked kitchen. I can't say enough nice things about our stay here. We all truly had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here. Sincerely, Tammy C.

Perfect getaway!

This place is stunning, likely one of the most beautiful homes we have ever stayed in. It is very well decorated and the touches are so thoughtful. We cooked all of our meals in and enjoyed eating on the screen porch. Time at the creek was picturesque, we even spent time at night out there so we could watch the stars. We love nature and hiking and found many great trails a short distance away. After our days hiking, the shower and fluffy towels were a luxury. Highly highly recommend. We are already talking about hen we can come again!

Creekside Idyll

Great three night stay at the farmhouse. Communication with owner was excellent. Check in was flawless with lights on and temperature properly set. That's what is expected by a renter. What you get here is something else. The property is beautiful with a mix of open grassy areas and wooded glens. We spent hours around the fire pit and sitting in beach chairs (we brought) in the creek which is clear and runs about 75 degrees. The house is comfortable and tastefully furnished. We are frequent VRBO renters and always "over pack" because we know there will be things we'll find lacking. Not here. Fully stocked and ready to go. Just bring your food and beverages and you are covered. We will be back.

Beautiful and quiet!

The property is gorgeous and well kept. All the extra amenities (games, dishes, bathroom/kitchen supplies, etc.) are a fantastic touch. Property owner was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway!

Rest and Tranquility

We were looking for a place to get away before we have our second child next week, Misti's place fit the bill perfectly. We've traveled extensively and this house reminded me of a boutique hotel. Perfect mountain getaway!

We just returned from a girls’ trip this weekend and had an amazing time at this adorable property. The house is clean and well appointed and we enjoyed the updated farmhouse style. We spent hours out by the scenic little creek, sitting around the fire and enjoying wines sourced from our vineyard visits earlier in the day. The house was perfect for our group of 4 women, with comfortable beds and two very nice bathrooms. We wish our trip could have gone on longer! The owner made it so easy to enjoy the home and was very helpful during the planning phase. We highly recommend this property to others - it does not disappoint!
