Host is unhinged

I booked this for a third party through work. The guest and their caregiver had a first floor apartment. The policy say 'no smoking' which people means not in the house. Not a problem. The guest smoked outside near a tree off the patio on first night. The host notified me there is no smoking anywhere on the property, even outside. The guests and I were completely apologetic. I assured him they would only smoke across the street, it wouldn't be an issue. The host became increasing irate each time I apologized, and just started messaging me "get out now!" over and over again. It was very bizarre behavior over a simple miscommunication. I explained the client just had surgery at a nearby hospital and couldn't move right then. He was completely unsympathetic and canceled the reservation, refusing any refund. This was a 17-night stay and the guest stayed for one. So lesson learned- hosts can cancel for any reason and keep your money if they have a no cancellation policy. I will never use VRBO again either professionally or personally.

Adequate but left a lot to be desired

Overall the apartment served its purpose while i looked for a home to buy. But the neighborhood was sketchy. The bed uncomfortable. The kitchen tiny. The bathroom dingy. Living room furniture essentially office furniture. Neighbors weed smokers. Basically a college dive.

Great Property!

This apartment made for a very quiet and relaxing home-base while we were moving our daughter to the area. It's in a cute neighborhood and had everything we needed for our stay. Huckleberry's is super close and has a GREAT breakfast menu if you don't feel like cooking. If you like Vegan or Vegetarian food, Allie's is nearby and has yummy food too. Brent was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. And even though there was a mixup with our booking (the apartment was accidentally double-booked the first two nights of our stay), Brent tried everything to make things right for us, including offering to arrange for and pay for us to stay at another hotel. He also paid for our dinner to try to make up for the trouble. We will definitely stay at Brent's place again next time we're in the area.

comfortable apartment on South Hill

apartment was exactly as advertised - kitchen was small but better equipped than many and worked well for a weeks' stay where we were just making breakfast (toast, eggs, coffee and tea) in the apartment and eating out for the rest.

Definitely A Great Find!

I stayed at this cozy apartment for almost a month and it was perfect! Brent is super responsive to any messages or requests that you send him. He is also willing to extend your stay as long as there are no other guests booked right behind yours. He also takes in considerations recommendations that you may have. The apartment has everything you might need for your stay. The apartment itself was clean and cozy. You get your own parking spot right in front of the apartment and the neighborhood itself is nice. I wasn't worried about crime or noise in the area. It seemed to be a safe residential area. Sometimes you got a heavy-footed neighbor upstairs but it wasn't common. Also, the apartment is super close to the highway which made it easy commuting to work. You're also close to downtown Spokane, where everything is less than 15 mins away. If you want to be close to the action of all Spokane-things, I would definitely recommend to stay here!! Worth it!

Perfect rest stop.

Quiet Central Location

This location was really perfect for what we were looking for. We needed a place to stay for the time spent in Spokane since we had a TON of activities planned including visiting family and a wedding. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. If you need a place to stay while being out and about, this is a great option.

Spokane visit

Easy, just what we needed stay

This is by far the easiest time I have ever had checking in and out. Didn’t contact property manager as we had no issues/need to. The cleaning lady tried to come a day early, but was very kind to apologize and say she would come back the next day. So convenient of a location—close to Huckleberry ‘s, several parks, and close to our son’s place as we were visiting him for the week

Nice neighborhood, clean and comfortable

Check in was very easy, apt. is spacious with two large bedrooms. Living and dining room furniture is clean and comfortable. Sliding glass doors lead to semi-enclosed outdoor area with privacy fence. Felt safe and secure. Easy access to I-90, but in very residential area with two nearby grocery stores. We re-booked for the following week.

Unexpected Trip

We had a family medical emergency and had to find a place in Spokane almost immediately. I contacted Brent about this property and he replied very quickly. Golf trip

The apartment is clean, beds comfortable and real quiet neighbors. I think the furniture in the livingroom could be more comfortable. It was straight out of the doctors office. Nice location and close to the courses we played.

Ideal Location for my business travel to Spokane

My business partner and I needed a place for a full week while in Spokane on business. We found this location on VRBO and booked it. This quiet apartment complex turned out to be the perfect spot for us. This two bedroom, one bath, was nicely furnished with a full kitchen with everything we needed to cook breakfast and our dinner every day, which saved us a great deal of money. The keys were in the lock-box just outside the front door, thermostat worked great, although it really wasn't that cold. We had a slight issue with internet password, but Bill, the manager, solved that for us immediately. Great things about this place - 5 minutes from downtown, 4 minutes to the 90 freeway, and only 9 minutes from the airport. Take note - if you stay here you've got to go to Huckleberry's Market, just 3 blocks away. Check out their 9th Street Bistro, which serves too much food, so you'll be taking food home that will provide a second meal...check out the pasta bar! We got food to go a couple of evenings! Fred Meyers super market/store is about 10 minutes away and if you can't find what you need at Fred Meyers, it probably doesn't exist! I will be staying here again the next time I come to Spokane on business. And, even though it's an apartment building, we heard very little noise from any of the neighbors. And there is parking on site in the building's lot or lots of parking available on the street. Finally, the pictures are very representative of the unit itself.

The condo was comfortable, easy accessible and good location. It was simple but had everything you needed. Cute but pricy organic store Huckleberry’s a couple blocks away with a good deli for breakfast or lunch. Good stay.
