The cabin is nestled among the towering trees only a few feet from the scenic Lower Mt. Fork River. Located on 12 acres, it’s perfect for those seeking a quiet getaway.

This charming log cabin has something unique to this property....a suspension bridge that crosses the water to a lower deck area perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, reading that favorite book, or for the fisherman, a perfect spot to lower a hook into the pristine water of the Lower Mt. Fork River. For the bird watcher in the group, this location is home to a wide variety of bird species.

There is an abundance of wildlife with an occasional Big Foot sighting!

The River Walk is a two-story log cabin with 3 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Guests will enjoy accommodations that include full size washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen.

Owner lives on site to assist with any questions you may have during your stay. Maximum occupancy is not to exceed 6 guests at any time.

Friends getaway

Cabin was on the water which was beautiful, the cabin was adequate but needs updated. Kitchen is a bit outdated and bathrooms need to have some TLC. Toilets need updated. Carpets are dirty and old. Spiderwebs in all bedrooms over beds which love being in the woods but not inside the cabin. Back porch should have been swept off, lots of large spider webs. Cushions on back porch chairs old and dirty. Dogs on the property barked while we were trying to sleep not pleasant . Dogs were not kept in there property and would pee on our coolers and truck tires. Cabin could use lighting updates very dark and closed in feeling. Propane fireplace did not stay lit not sure very safe. I give this cabin a 6 out of 10.

Absolutely beautiful

We stay at this cabin every summer. This perch above the Lower Mountain Fork River is my happy place! Love the three-level deck, huge kitchen, yard games, big gas grill, and most of all the location. I'd be content just to sit on the deck or around the fire pit and watch the water and the wildlife, but there is plenty to do nearby as well. Kayaking, good food and drink, Beaver's Bend State Park, and more are available in the area.

Beautiful Place

We enjoyed our weekend at this beautiful property. It has everything you need; kitchenware, fun outdoor games, etc. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing weekend and fun weekend on the river!

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything about this was wonderful. quick and responsive communication with the host. So many thoughtful touches to name. More than I've seen at any other property and we've been to quite a few properties. Everything exactly as pictured. I'd like to specifically note that the fees for this property are reasonable which isn't always the case.

We had the most amazing and relaxing time! The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed!!

We will definitely be staying here again! The cabin was clean and spacious, the decks and the bridge were amazing! Kids and adults were able to spread out and fish, enjoy the river, sit by the fire pit, or just take it all in on one of the many decks around the house! Perfect spot for anyone wanting to unwind!

Great escape!

This is a very cozy, quaint cabin right on the river. We enjoyed time on the dock over the river, found everything we needed to prepare meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the isolated location of the property. The communication from the owners was terrific and we enjoyed getting to visit with Russ when he delivered the firewood. We are already talking about our next trip. See you in October!

Great cabin!

Everything was great! The cabin is so nice and super clean. Best stocked kitchen of anywhere I have stayed. The scenery is beautiful. Communication with Dana was super easy. We hope to come back soon!!

Enjoyable and relaxing beautiful place

We had a very enjoyable time here. The scenery was Beautiful. We loved all the seating options we had and enjoyed trying them all out, the fireplace, fire pit and out door game. Thank you Dana and Russ for the hospitality and the complimentary bottle of wine. Will have to do it again.

Amazing decks

Quite and relaxing. Few more stairs than we are use to but still great views. Clean and cozy with everything you would need to stay for several days. Even a complimentary bottle of wine for the adults!

Relaxation and Fun

We had an excellent time celebrating birthdays at this beautiful property! The location is prime! Dana made us feel welcome; even had Happy Birthday day decorations outside when we arrived. She also set up a kayaking trip for our group and made everything easy. We highly recommended this place, and will be staying there again.

Home on the River

We stay in this beautiful cabin every year. Location can't be beat - right on the river with three decks. Perfect for bird/animal watching, dining, and just sitting! Great kitchen, gas grill, fire pit, large master suite. Easy drive to kayak outfitters.

Very beautiful

The cabin is perfect, the view from the cabin looking down to the river is absolutely amazing. Host is very kind and will answer any questions you may have about the area . Definitely coming back next year. We also loved the master bedroom it is amazing
