New 2-story lake house on beautiful lakefront property. Granite kitchen, wonderful lighting, gas fireplace with Smart TV, gorgeous estate-like grounds and breathtaking views, quiet street, wonderful home - inside and out. Wander 100' to the dock and relax in the dock chairs while watching ducks and an occasional blue heron paddle by. Relax on the dock and watch the lake settle to a glass finish, easier to spot fish coming to the surface. Fish right off the dock or bring your boat to experience the 26,000 acre Lake Palestine. Sit outside around the gas firepit and enjoy the starlit evenings. The house is a perfect romantic retreat for a couple needing some time together or perfect for grandparents, children and their kids. Pricing adjusts based on group size and mix of guests so I make it affordable for small or larger groups. Side deck with gas firepit great for sitting around, wood firepit by deck that's great for roasting up some dogs or marshmallows, just bring your wood

Guest groups have included those coming to the area to golf 4 great courses nearby and family groups coming together to relax and enjoy the lake. Extended stay pricing is available for 'snow birds' during off-season.we have 2 houses on the property available to rent

Great Place to Relax for the Weekend
Everything was as we expected. Nice house. Beautiful view. Lots of room for 2 adults and two teens. Would have had room for our daughters to bring friends. We were in the area for my brother’s wedding and it was a great place to relax between activities. Would love to come back again and spend more time on the water.

It's a fun place, hospitable owner
The only complaints we have are the master bedroom TV wouldn't connect to the satellite and the bed is softer than we like. But so what! Those things didn't really matter and we had a great time. Beautiful spot.

Relaxing and Soothing - Loved it!
Loved it! So relaxing with all the wonderful views of the lake. Had a ton of fun with the fire pit outside at night under star filled sky! The house was clean, bathrooms had all the home away from home amenities you needed just in case you forgot. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only thing I could see for improvement was the cable connection and surrounded sound system. We are most definitely considering coming back!

Nice, beautiful lake house
We had a good time at Miss Piggy's. The kids loved swimming off the deck and they loved making s'mores and having their own little room to theirselves. The only down side was there were ants everywhere inside and out. The lake was beautiful and the house was nice.

Wonderful family vacation.
My family and I had such a wonderful time here! We would love to come back again! Our kids will remember this stay forever. The lake was perfect, not deep at all. Good for swimming. It was very inviting!
We had a cold front come through on a weekend in April, but plenty of blankets, pillows, and sheets for everyone! The weather didn't ruin our fun though! Couldn't get the gas logs to work in the Living room but fire pits worked well outside and fishing from the boat house was amazing. Thank you Robert for sharing your Lake house with my family! We enjoyed your hospitality and you have a wonderful place. Susan

Wonderful place!
The view of the lake is stunning and the yard is wonderful! The house was perfect for the families. The book said there are 2 units but we could only find one thermostat. It was pretty cold in the upstairs bedroom but fine in the bathroom. However, we would definitely stay here again!! Thank you to the owner!!

Fantastic Lake House
We had a fabulous time with our group of girls for the weekend. The house and grounds are beautiful, checking in and out was very simple. We had a minor problem with the gas, and it was handled and corrected very speedily; Mary was extremely helpful and willing to work with us. I would recommend this house for large and small families wanting a relaxing time in a beautiful setting.

Fabulous weekend at Miss Kitty's Guest House
My two sisters and I spent a wonderful weekend at Miss Kitty's Guest House recently in July. I had seen the pictures online, but the place is absolutely precious in person. And, the view of the lake is wonderful. The kitchen is great, complete with a gas stove. The rooms are furnished nicely and the whole lake house is very cozy and comfortable. My only two complaints are that we couldn't stay longer, and that we never saw Miss Kitty, though we did watch for her.

Relaxing Weekend!
We rented the lakehouse for a weekend, and it was indeed one of the best weekends we have ever had. Nothing was out of place. Everything was accessible. Nothing like waking up, having coffee on the beautiful patio, and then going fishing. Relaxation is what we wanted, and it is exactly what we received. Planning a return trip very soon!!!

Five Star, Will Surely Return
we rented this house this past weekend and it was an awesome experience. The house is cozy and wonderful, complete with utensils, beddings, magazines and board games. The kitchen was spacious, the fridge was large, the washer/dryer were convenient and the big-screen TV was a big help when the kids were getting board. The lake is a few feet away and the bad dock was really nice. Thanks for a great experience.

Absolutely perfect!
Our family could not say enough nice things about our stay. We rented both houses and it was perfect. Houses are well stocked and the view is absolutely gorgeous. Very peaceful and a getaway that allows you to spend quality time in a beautiful setting. The owner was absolutely the greatest to work with! Thank you for such a wonderful weekend!

I always have to pinch myself to make sure I'm awake when at the lake. It's a wonderful and special place.

Why they chose this property

Good friends of our's lived nearby. I fell in love with the area when visiting them and have had a place here ever since.

What makes this property unique

I always am in awe when I come to the lake house. When the sun comes up over the cove and lake, it takes my breath away. Watching the wildlife from herons to turtles is always a treat. There are times when the water in the cove calms and turns to glass. It's a sight to behold. Sitting on the dock with a cup of coffee in the morning is very special.
