Enjoy one of the best located properties at Squaw. You will find the Home on Christy Lane across from Historic Squaw Valley Ski Resort!
We offer a very clean non-smoking environment that is only a 5 minute walk to the Lifts or Shirley Canyon! Easy Access with no steep icy hills to drive. Relax at our Cozy Mountain Getaway!
With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, this cabin sleeps 8 comfortably. We have a Full Kitchen, Laundry, Streaming TV, WiFi, fireplace, and Huge Après Ski Deck. Parking for 3-4 cars.

The perfect Palisades Getaway!

Just a three minute walk to the parking lot at Palisades this gem was the perfect retreat. It was very much the classic Tahoe cabin experience with plenty of room and all the necessities. Good size refrigerator, well stocked kitchen, excellent knives. We cooked and had everything we needed. Beds and linens were very comfortable and plenty of pillows and throws to stay cozy and warm. The pictures don’t do it justice. The owner was extremely responsive and made sure we had a great experience. And the snow goddess was very generous. Two feet of fresh pow pow. Sublime.

Winter Dream

We had a wonderful stay from a to Z. Super cute cabin, well situated and very comfortable. Right now The owner is most accommodating and will help you troubleshoot any issues that come up and can give you ideas for fun things to do.

Unbeatable location

With a line of cars snaking down to the highway, it was so nice to be able to walk to the lifts (or to the Village later for dinner). The cabin is well-maintained and comfortable for a group.

Another wonderful Christmas/New Year seasons at Palisades Tahoe

This was the second time in a row, we celebrated our long standing family tradition spending the Christmas/New Year holidays at Tahoe and Olympic Valley staying at this house. Like last season, the house was impeccably setup and everybody felt immediately at home. The hosts are very responsive, strive making the process as smooth as possible, and provide amble information helping getting the most out of your outing -- both ahead and during your stay. This year was another storm season and everybody following the news what's going on in California knows. Well, no worries at this house. The location is perfect with a short walk to the Palisades Village and Palisades base and the hosts have a great support system in place. We didn't have any problems at all making the most of our time out there. I highly recommend this house for families, who want to have a great time and specifically for families with kids who are mature venturing out on there own at times -- very safe environment, easy to navigate, and easy access to the house. Yeah, we had a great time and hope for the next season.

Great location near ski resort!

We had a great time at this home located about 5-10 minute walk from the ski village. The home was very well stocked and has a great view of the mountain from the deck. A note of warning however. The place has video cameras and the homeowner is definitely watching you. If you value your privacy, I would look elsewhere.

Best Ski House

We really enjoyed our ski week at David's house. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of the Far East lift, or a very quick drive to the village. The house is equipped with all cooking equipment which we use for several family dinners. David is extremely responsive and helped with all logistics. The house sits on a hill with about 20 steps to the front door. I would keep this in mind if anyone in your party has any mobility issues.

Olympic Valley Original Gem

We booked this property for a last minute ski getaway with friends and it was a surprise and delight! Not only were the accommodations clean and cozy with amazing views of the slopes, the accommodations were very well appointed (especially in the kitchen) allowing us to make ourselves right at home. There is no doubt we made lasting memories with homemade meals, quick access to the lifts and downtime for board games/family fun. It’s clear that this home is well loved not only by the owners, but all who visit. We hope to return soon and are grateful for David’s attention to our safety and comfort!

Olympic Valley Christmas 2021

We have been going to Olympic Valley / Alpine Meadows over Christmas / New Year for the last 15 years and this place was the best so far. The house offers plenty of space for a family of 5, is well organized with many practical details easing a ski vacation. From the living room and deck, you have a perfect view of Red Dog and KT -- easy to check out how the day may unfold. Your are within walking distance to the Palisades Tahoe resort and I am talking walking in full skiing or snowboarding gear. Alternatively, use the Mountaineer shuttle service and either way you hit the lift with 15-20 minutes. The owners provide comprehensive guidance about the house and truly care about your experience. We got a lot of snow within a few days and things got a bit tricky. All along, the owners monitored the situation and were proactive in arranging shoveling services and providing advice how to best deal with the situation. We felt safe and well taken care of.

Great find and really friendly owner

We walked to the lifts and watched the fireworks from the deck. All of my emails were promptly replied to and the owner was really accommodating and interested in ensuring our experience was wonderful.

Great property in Squaw Valley

Home is better than advertised, very clean, hospitable and generous supplies (pots, pans, Tupperware, utensils, and even condiments) books to read, sitting area, plenty of hot water and nice entry room for skis, boots and glove warmer. Owner has well organized book with instructions on everything you need and WiFi was performed perfection. Best location as less then 1/2 mile walk to village and by car 4 min away. Towels, bedding - fresh and clean!!!!
