Neglected Unit/Not Equipped
Our family vacations in Orange Beach every year. This was our first time to stay in the penthouse unit 1505 at the Phoenix V. From the pictures and description online, we were expecting a beautiful and well equipped unit to accommodate our family of six. Unfortunately, that is not what we found. The unit only had four chairs at the dining table and one of the chairs was broken. There were no barstools at the bar, so we had to eat in shifts. Also, there were only three drinking glasses but twelve coffee cups. The batteries in the remote controls were corroded and didn’t work. The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom was broken and falling off the wall. When I contacted Brett Robinson management about the issues, they were quick to send someone to fix the remote controls and toilet paper dispenser. However, they could not provide additional chairs or glassware as that was the owner’s responsibility. The only seating in the living room was the small sectional as well (6 people can’t sit there). Even though this unit has 3 bedrooms, it’s just not equipped to accommodate more than four people. The owners need to add more seating in the living and dining areas and fully equip their kitchen. We were disappointed and felt we grossly overpaid for what we got. If the owners address the issues we mentioned, it has potential.
